'Vote your conviction but don't lose your conviction to a vote'. I felt that.

"We are not to be the same, but we are to be one. Unified in Christ" Boom! The whole church needs to hear this! We should ALWAYS choose to love!

❤❤❤ God is in Control ❤❤❤ God sets up Kings and removes Kings. I believe it will be difficult moving forward, but I believe God has a plan and His plan is perfect. My Trust is in Jesus not any Leader. I am happy with the results, and I am continually praying that God brings peace to the anxious, fearful, and hurting. Jesus is the way. ❤

Posting this as a Canadian after watching all the election craziness over the past month. I pray that more people reflect on what has happened and in the future based on real values and principles rooted in faith and remember to treat others with the respect they deserve rather than the hateful ways I've been seeing online recently.

I pray for the day that politics will not divide Christians anymore. I agree that we will be known by our love.

Like you, I don't put my political opinions out there on TH-cam either. However, I was a political science major in college and keep up on all the latest political news. I agree with you that we have a role to play as believers in the midst of the chaos. Thank you for putting out this thoughtful response to the political chaos.

"Don't lose your conviction over a vote". So true! It's sad to say the election in the Philippines is just as contentious as in the US, to the point that people think their candidate is the only savior of, if not the world, the nation. I pray that whether our candidate wins or loses, we'd still praise the Lord because only His Kingdom stands forever. 👑

All American citizens have not only the right to vote, but the civic DUTY to vote. This is particularly true of the Christian who should vote according to Biblical values (everything we do, should be for His glory). Vote for the candidate whose platform (and more importantly their track-record) most closely aligns with Biblical values.

Yea that 100% should be the duty of Christians who choose to vote..do so according to Gods standard the best you can, making the best judgement call with the info you know. Period. I’m not fully convinced it’s actually our Duty TO have to vote though I’ll be honest. It’s not really in scripture, so it kind of lands in the gray area of preference and sliding Godly wisdom.
