We tend to encourage the massive fabric haul approach, rather than choosing less fabric but of a better sustainable quality. Stashing fabric is just not good for the environment whatever type it is and even worse when we chase cheap material which may seem like a bargain but at the price of the planet. Thanks for emphasising that we should only buy nylon and also poly fabrics which are recycled.

In addition to avoiding synthetic fibers, fibers made from animal products should also be avoided. Wool, leather, and fur drive biodiversity loss and climate change while harming workers, animals, and local ecosystems. Animal materials are often treated with chemicals to prevent them from decomposing, which means they do not degrade fast but last for many years.

Sometimes, but the main one like GOTS / Tencel / Lenzing are worldwide certifications :)
