I LOVE The Wall of Winnipeg so much. I knew you were going to love it. Its a huge book and I bet I have reread it about 5 times. Maybe not all the way through, but skipping to my fave parts. I have to have it in every form. Its on my kindle just in case as well as my physical book.

@@LochsLibrary so, I enjoyed Wall of Winnipeg, but had to send my copy back because it fell apart. My least favorite Zapata book is Rhodes, but on your recommendation my first Addicted book is coming today. Have you read Wallbanger? I've read it years ago, so I'm not sure how I'd like it today, but I remember it being good.
@@evelinehecklinger6257 OMG my copy fell apart too 😫😤 i had already started annotating before it happened. i stopped and stared at the wall for a solid 5 min out of anger lol. ive had mariana books do that to me before but i usually catch it before i start reading it. ugh its so frustrating. some of the pages literally just fall out...
omg i hope you love addicted... the first time i read it i gave it 4 stars, but after i finished the series i went back and re-read and gave it 5 hahaha i love that series so much. theres almost NO plot but i think thats why i love it so much.. because there are no 3rd act break ups and the conflicts are done really well imo. ugh i love those characters so much i could ramble on allll day 😂😂

@@LochsLibrary I'm assuming Mariana self publishes, but at over $20 a book that's not what should happen. I am in awe watching you annotate, because I have a mental block and can't write in my books. Now, another series I found by accident (not what I ever thought I'd like) is by Carly Bloom and it starts with Big Bad Cowboy. I adored it. Perfect mix of sweet and spicy. It actually has great plot.
@@evelinehecklinger6257 yea her books are SO expensive! the book bindery she hires needs to do a better job because i dont have any other self publish authors do that... well actually it happened to one other book before. but its not common to have books fall apart like that.. at least it shouldnt be lol.
i really try to only annotate books that i love, so i usually wait 50 or so pages before i write in them just incase i dont like it. because its such a waste to annotate a book you dont like. i dont see the point in doing that. but annotating is so fun when i love the book!

Are you going to be reading a court of silver flames or the throne of glass series next or soon? I'm about to do my reread for acosf so I can annotate it then read the throne of glass series for the first time. We should buddy read!
im slowly re-reading acotar series but i do plan on re-reading throne of glass this year too! if you're reading it for the first time i definitely recommend reading "assassins blade" first since the later books spoil that book completely! and its one of my faves from the series -- celaena has SO much character development in that book and "throne of glass" will make more sense. anyway, im rambling so i will stop now xD i just love that series so much. totally down to buddy read but im not sure when i will pick it up--im such a mood reader 😭
@@LochsLibrary yes that was my plan to start with assassin's blade. I was supposed to have finished reading this series months ago but keep reading other things 😂 I'm a major mood reader too 😂

I never write in my books, Lochlyn. That is a good way to ruin a valuable book!
I wouldn’t highlight in books except textbooks. Idk it would bother me as I read. But everyone can do what they want with their books especially if they will never sell or donate them.
Isn’t it difficult to read after you highlight it?
marking in my books used to bother me too but i think without realizing, i gradually would do more and more annotations as i got comfortable with it and now here i am doodling 🙈😅 but i try to only do it with books i know i’m going to re-read, bc that’s when it’s soo fun to see everything i’ve annotated. and it’s time consuming so it’s not worth it (to me) to annotate books that i don’t love. but yea definitely ruins resale value so i try to be picky with which books i annotate.
i try to use highlighters that are lighter in color so the print is still visible-some colors really are too dark to use as highlighters so i prefer light colors but i run out of the ink on them so fast bc they’re my go-to lol. the blue i used in this video is on the verge of being too dark, but i think it’s lighter in person and the words are still easy to read 💜

Also I love that I'm not the only one who will highlight a whole ass page when I'm annotating 😂 I thought I was the only one who did that 😂😂
hahaha at this point our books = coloring books 😂😂 but i looooveee doing that hahaha it’s so fun when you go back and re-read. it’s like a reward :’)

I was sad I didn’t like the wall of Winnipeg I did like the ending though. I guess I don’t like slow burn romance I get bored. I don’t want it too fast either though. I wish medium burn was a thing lol.
aww yea i have have some friends who really just don’t like slow burn and can’t do mariana. but so far the only one that was a little too slow for me was from lukov with love. i liked it but i wasn’t super in love like i have been with her other books
