Thanks so much for this. I have the same engine on my 2008 Moomba XLV. Now I know where to look. Do you take any precautions to preserve the bilge system, or are the impellers capable of withstanding some freeze cycles?
I would always take the impellers out of the water pump as well as the ballast pumps, even though they would be fine. It will shorten their life if they sit in cold, freezing temperatures all winter
Make sure to by pass winterizing your heating system so the heater cores will freeze up and bust during the winter ! Don't change the oil and filter and don't fog the motor Good call dude !
The heater on this boat uses antifreeze already, because this is a closed cool’d system, but I’m sure you already know that since you are a professional marine mechanic.
Thanks! Great overview!
Glad it was helpful! Happy boating!
thanks very much for putting this online
I’m glad this was helpful for you!
I could only find 4 out of 5 plugs. There are blue stickers near plugs labeled 1 of 5,etc. am i safe?
Not sure...
@ i figured it out. 5th drain is the water impeller cover not a wing nut.
Great video! Love how simple it is to winterize these newer boats.
Yeah Buddy! Pretty easy to do! Thanks for watching
Hi Mark happy new year I was wondering if you have any utube on how to flush fresh water through a 2015 RZR raptor 400 ? Many thanks
I've got this one: th-cam.com/video/6adQZ9YI2hc/w-d-xo.html

Is there a Fuel Filter to change????
I don't recall
should we go ahead and change the impeller and fuel filter since we are in there doing the rest? thanks for the vid and your comment.
Yes on the fuel filter. I usually wait until spring for the impeller, that way the new impeller isn’t sitting in the housing all winter long.
@@Myksgarage thanks.
I don't show a Fuel filter on my 2016 Tige Z3. Curious what fuel filter you are referring too?
I have a 16 craz and I dont have the 2 little brass plugs on the bottom of block...
Perhaps you have a hose fitting that connects both exhaust manifolds, it would be around the v-drive?
@@Myksgarage yes sir I do but its high up above v drive ,how does the water drain from bottom like yours does?
Check out this video, this might be how yours works. th-cam.com/video/AtHaY4D2YHo/w-d-xo.html
What about the antifreeze
I suspose you can empty the water out and then run the engine on antifreeze. You’ll have to have some way to pump it into the system.
