Cathy, you made me both happy and sad to know that you and I had the same love for football from spending time with your dad. My dad was the same, but to this day, the sound of a football game gives me a warm felling that I never understood until you said it. I’m so glad to hear that your dad has warmed up over time, so enjoy all the time you get to spend with him and make him laugh like you do for all of the Cathy lovers in the world.

Just wanted to say that Ohuhu alcohol markers are a fantastic alternative to Copics. I find the Ohuhu colors more vibrant and absolutely love them. A lot cheaper, too!

Unfortunately I missed this live but when you were talking about the Copics and regretting the expense you put into them when you don’t really color- I relate so much to this. I don’t hate coloring but don’t love it either. Also gotta tell ya Cathy, you are awesome in front of the camera being introverted. I kinda miss making videos but not cause it stressed me out that I had to be “perfect” 😅
I tell ya, i never worry about being perfect anymore… hahah. I think it's better to just be me. SO far from perfect!

I love when you do Q&A I have hard time catching you live work 7p-7a or 8p-8a 5-6 nights a week and sleep during the day, drive 40-60 minutes to work ....so I love that you record.

Great Q&A Cathy, sad to have missed the live, as it was actually at a good time for me! I'll have to watch for the next one. Really enjoyed this live and just wanted to comment about the 'blog' issue too. I think IG is a much more popular medium right now, but I cannot add as much detail on my IG posts, compared to my blog posts and it's a really nice running catalogue of my creations. So easy to look back on posts, remind myself of techniques I want to retry etc, I love having a blog, but yes, greatly reduced visitation, but still I hope a media that will survive. Thanks as always Cathy for a fun watch, cute to have your family cameos in this live too xoxo
I absolutely understand you not wanting to meet people for coffee. I’m an extrovert when I need to be (like you are front of a camera or me in business settings) but accepting invitations to things we are not comfortable with should be respected as totally within our boundaries ❤️

'Cut in go pro' embossing/die cutting machine looking to buy a new one. My question is big shot/ Gemini Junior what do u suggest and why.

The Gemini Junior is an electronic machine and the big shot is a manual machine so it depends on what you like. I have both a manual machine and I have a few electronic machines but I work in crafting now so it's good for me to know what does what. The Gemini is great! So is the bigshot. I like electric machines most of the time because i have wrist issues!
Try acrylic yarn and wooden needles!

Is there a side of Neenah Cover solar crest best/smoother for stamping ? I use C9 inks and they get a bit fuzzy when I stamp with my Misti. Thks!

Can you go into more depth about using separate blending brushes. For the dye inks do you use the same brush for different brands?
For the dye inks, I use the same brushes for multiple brands as long as they are all still dye ink!
Do you ever make your own paper? I love the fact that you say you don't wear a bra when you are home. I never wear one so if anyone comes over they get me the way I am. Also a football lover. GO VIKINGS!!!
