I just bought this vest....important to check the homepage first and check you exact measures, so you pick the right size, back length, waist...etc. I am 180cm 86 kg, and xl fits perfect. Fits comfortable, happy that I bought it.
I bought the Helite E-Turtle 2 and its accompanying Fork Sensor as I’ll use it for street riding and it’s very comfortable. It’s no heavier than the KLIM air vest but has a lot more protection & is worn over your riding gear instead of under it. Perfect for street riding gear round. Size XL was perfect fit (I’m 6’O” tall & weigh 210#). Got it at www.thevisorshop.com/Mobile/MobileSearchResults.aspx?Search=Helite (less expensive than AirVestUK).
Thanks for the review! Did you go to the xl? Would you mind sharing your height/weight, chest and back length? Is purchased a turtle 2 l-l and it was way to large for me. But when I called them they said l-l was ment for curvy people and told me to size up to an Xl. For reference I'm 185lbs, 5-10. (177cm)
I was looking into this airbag vest, but after seeing this video I am really not sure. I need to try it on and see how it feels. I got a pretty wide neck and it seems like this is gonna be bothering me. Really disappointing to be honest!
It is disappointing- but its more the way it pinches the back of your neck that bothers me most- Ive done another video on the channel where I do a test ride that may be useful for you. Hopefully this was just a size too small. Also depends on what style of bike you ride, as im on a supersport. The Panigale is an extreme position so if anything more upright it may work better for you! Definately up there with protection next to the alpinestars
@@sergeantsodom6969 Yeah, I also have a pretty wide neck so I always struggle to find a great race suit that doesn't put the pressure on my neck. Dainese Assen is one of those suits, so comfy! I am both riding on the street and track, so I was looking for something that would cover both aspects of riding. Sportbike on the track (R6) and the GSX-S750 for the streets. If something is really pinching on my neck all the time it would lead to a lot of irritation which can take away the focus from actual riding. I hope they redesign the vest with people who got wider necks :D Not all sizes fit all!
You get used to it, trust me. Putting it on will be easier. It’s the right size... It will also stretch. I’ve used mine (not the E version) for the past two years - both racing and track days. Your suit looks about one size too large BTW.
Cheers for the comment! Unfortunately it was cutting off circulation on the neck causing and breathing issues so had to go back- I recon a size up would’ve been money. Airbag underneath the suit therefore need space hence one size up Cheers!

Hello bro, I noticed your suite is big and ur airbags is tight make sure about it👍👍 Drive safe
Hi do you still use the vest and how do you like it nowadays if so?
Hi mate, no I sent it back pretty soon after and went for the Klim in&motion one instead- been using that since and its been great
@@sergeantsodom6969 I actually did try out the klim one today but feel that the back protect is kind of short imo.

Got exactly the same. Can't fit it under my current 2 year old suit.. so not really keen to break the bank to replace it.
