The way they potrait saanjh adapting from city lifestyle to pahadi lifestyle......The way a mother missing her son and that son also missing his daughter but none of them are ready to make a first call and talk to their child.......And in the end when jonga offers a lot of coins to saanjh but she kept crying and refuse all that coin which was important for her more than anything at a time in the past.....I never comment on every video which I see but this is a absolute masterpiece, a simple and natural creation with lot of feelings and ofcourse that song "Puchhe Amma Meri" will gonna make your eyes wet....Do watch and recommend to your friends....and watch it in pahadi language rather than Hindi, it's easy to understand and it will give you a real and unforgettable experience.

Love from NEPAL. 🇳🇵 DHEEME DHEEME song attracted me to search the movie SAANJH and started to watch HINDI dubbed. But, i found the dubbing didnot gave me the emotion of the soulful characters. And, i started watching the ORIGINAL with HIMANCHAL LANGUAGE. I felt little difficulty, so, tried with subtitle but then, i got distracted. Finally, i kept watching the ORIGINAL without subtitle. OMG! I loved the beauty of the local language and now i have become big fan of that language. The story is simple but pure and virgin. At the end, i couldnot stop my tears to flow even after THE MOVIE finished. Music, acting n story is awesome. I loved DAADI so much. SHE IS THE NATURE.

A heart wrenching movie,never thought of watching a Himachali movie. It’s great,life is very tough for the hill people and yet they are so simple! The girl was punished for no no fault of her own but her stay with her grandma made her a better human being. Words fail me to express the beauty of Himachal Pradesh! Whenever we visit such places we hardly think how the locals survive. Thanks to the director for making such an eye opening film.

I think the dialect of Rawalpindi and Himachal is quite similar. Correct me if I am wrong. The mainstream Punjabi movie and music industry should give due importance to all the dialects of Punjabi language whether it is Saraiki, Pothwari, Dogri or Pahari dialect.

It's real that today youth of Himachal is doing jobs outside of our beloved state due to lack of opportunities and some jobs are there but wages or salaries are very less, but this short movie reveals the bitter truth that we are forgetting our parents, our culture and home. Congratulations for your first Pahari language movie. Nice effort. Very emotional and realistic movie. Saraiki/ Multani (Multan/ Bahawalpur), Pothwari (Rawalpindi), Dogri/ Pahari (Himachal/ Jammu) all are beautiful dialects of Punjabi language. The main stream Punjabi film/ music industry should give due importance to these dialects of Undivided Punjab (land of five rivers).
@@kdpahadi9814 I think you have some misconceptions in your mind and you are relating the word "Punjab " with the Indian state of Punjab. The word Punjab means the land of five rivers namely Sutluj, Beas, Ravi, Jhelum and Chennab. The area which comes under these five rivers is called "Punjab " (It has nothing to do with the Indian state of Punjab). The majority area of Punjab is in Pakistan. Pahari/ Saraiki/ Pothwari/ Dogri are not the languages (they do not have their own script) they are different dialects of Punjabi language. I hope now you will understand.

The way they potrait saanjh adapting from city lifestyle to pahadi lifestyle......The way a mother missing her son and that son also missing his daughter but none of them are ready to make a first call and talk to their child.......And in the end when jonga offers a lot of coins to saanjh but she kept crying and refuse all that coin which was important for her more than anything at a time in the past.....I never comment on every video which I see but this is a absolute masterpiece, a simple and natural creation with lot of feelings and ofcourse that song "Puchhe Amma Meri" will gonna make your eyes wet....Do watch and recommend to your friends....and watch it in pahadi language rather than Hindi, it's easy to understand and it will give you a real and unforgettable experience.

DHEEME DHEEME song attracted me to search the movie SAANJH and started to watch HINDI dubbed.
But, i found the dubbing didnot gave me the emotion of the soulful characters.
And, i started watching the ORIGINAL with HIMANCHAL LANGUAGE. I felt little difficulty, so, tried with subtitle but then, i got distracted.
Finally, i kept watching the ORIGINAL without subtitle. OMG! I loved the beauty of the local language and now i have become big fan of that language.
The story is simple but pure and virgin.
At the end, i couldnot stop my tears to flow even after THE MOVIE finished.
Music, acting n story is awesome.
I loved DAADI so much. SHE IS THE NATURE.

A heart wrenching movie,never thought of watching a Himachali movie. It’s great,life is very tough for the hill people and yet they are so simple! The girl was punished for no no fault of her own but her stay with her grandma made her a better human being. Words fail me to express the beauty of Himachal Pradesh! Whenever we visit such places we hardly think how the locals survive. Thanks to the director for making such an eye opening film.

Silent Hills Studio First I want to say sorry that i cant watch movie in theater but i watched it last night on you tube and i was very eager to watch this movie ,,i have some reviews i know bo body is asking for ,,but tell us the exact definition of word prestige by making this movie ,,,the way you showed the music is making difference between the music showing now a days in himachali songs ,,All songs in pahadi and I cant imagine the way you introduce a pahadi song like this with brilliant music ,Mohit Chauhan (himachal ki shaan) is awsome .Deva mere 👍👍👍While watching i wept at some places the picturization of view that is out of World ,I thought i am in somewhere in Switzerland. The dialog delivery of dadi ji and wife of pradhan ji was ultimate ,,Bawa sahb also done a very brilliant job as he is not concerned with this language ,concept was good ,,But i didnt hear the flute music as you used in Teaser of sanjh ,Overall the movie is awsome and i will definitely tell to my friends and family to watch .Thanks for doing this Thanks for making me so much more proud Ki Iam from Himachal jahan se Sanjh ka director Ajay Saklani belong karta hai ... I think the dialect of Rawalpindi and Himachal is quite similar. Correct me if I am wrong.
The mainstream Punjabi movie and music industry should give due importance to all the dialects of Punjabi language whether it is Saraiki, Pothwari, Dogri or Pahari dialect.
One less known dialect of Punjabi language is "Hindko". It's the language of Hazara division, Peshawar and some parts of Afghanistan. Hindko means the language of Indian mountains.

It's real that today youth of Himachal is doing jobs outside of our beloved state due to lack of opportunities and some jobs are there but wages or salaries are very less, but this short movie reveals the bitter truth that we are forgetting our parents, our culture and home. Watching Himachali movie for the first time (Don't know why but felt like watching it) though I am not familiar with the language but somehow I could understand it, oh! this movie made me cry alot😥😥😥😥😥very heart touching story and this movie depicts the real fact of our society where parents do every possible thing for their children to give them the best but children, in return forget their own parents and the sacrifices they make for them😨😢harsh reality of life😢😢😢by watching this movie, one can really feel the #Untold_Pain of the mother which she has burried inside her heart, and the girl's acting is superb👍👌👌👌her crying at the end of the movie really touched my heart, it felt so real that I too was crying alot😨😢

Congratulations for your first Pahari language movie. Nice effort. Very emotional and realistic movie. Saraiki/ Multani (Multan/ Bahawalpur), Pothwari (Rawalpindi), Dogri/ Pahari (Himachal/ Jammu) all are beautiful dialects of Punjabi language. @@kdpahadi9814 I think you have some misconceptions in your mind and you are relating the word "Punjab " with the Indian state of Punjab. The word Punjab means the land of five rivers namely Sutluj, Beas, Ravi, Jhelum and Chennab. The area which comes under these five rivers is called "Punjab " (It has nothing to do with the Indian state of Punjab). The majority area of Punjab is in Pakistan. Pahari/ Saraiki/ Pothwari/ Dogri are not the languages (they do not have their own script) they are different dialects of Punjabi language. I hope now you will understand.

This is pothwari dialect. People of Rawalpindi speak Punjabi in pothwari dialect.

Himachal Pardesh and Chandigarh are carved out from Punjabi in 1966. Earlier they were part of Punjab.
