I reckon Duck sitting down with people such as Ben Cousins, Brian Lake, Fev, Gary Ablett Snr or Ricky Nixon would be much watch in that regard, but great leaders similar to Duck like Dermy, Joel Selwood, Ricky Ponting, Steve Waugh or Luke Hodge would be awesome as well.

Great interview Wayne with Australia’s greatest ever boxer. I remember watching the Nelson fight in America and don’t think Jeff ever recovered from being Ripped Off. He’s a true inspiration for giving 100% and believing in 1s self.

I think you are both being a bit hard on yourselves. You were successful because you were that person you now don’t like. People who haven’t had quick success also don’t understand money brings temptation, and when egos are high we all are only human.
Fenech what are you talking about in relation that nobody threw a kick in a street fight in the 80's. Champ I grew up in the 70,s as a teenager and witnessed fights every weekend at pubs, nightclubs in the inner city sleazy pool halls and streets around the Clubbing areas which was standard entertainment back then and saw guys get kicked, bitten, heads slammed into brick walls, bottled, glassed, belted with pool balls, belted with rocks, head butted and many other standard practice's guys would do to get a win in the street. I witnessed a discent fight in the mid 80,s between a 220 + pound Maori who looked like a rugby player who started on a 140 + pound lean ex gym fighter, the Maori had two huge white guys with him, the fight lasted around 15 to 20 minutes in front of around 100 + patron's who were leaving the hotel. The skinny guy was all over the Maori like a Psycho Pitt bull and tore him apart until the Maori could no longer hold his hands up and his offsiders said that's it, the Maori looked like he was attacked by a Leppard the skinny guy had a lump on his head the size of a orange but was hyped and still growling he then kicked the Maori down the stairs, there was definitely no rules in that fight . It's nothing to brag about and was low but it's survival. Fenech I personally don't believe you have had a discent heavy street fight. Maybe you had a school yard scuff that's it, even as a kid I witnessed boys do the stomper, slam other kids heads into the school wall to try to get an early finish which caused the boys watching to cheer and go crazy attracting the teachers thats how we learned to fight .No big deal that the way it was and still is depending on what circle your in.
