Thank you, Tom. For the record, before I come up with an arrangement, I look at your version to see how you did it. I always learn something from all the preparation you do, and enjoy your work very much!
@@pjsman5252 A lot of it actually. The song that Brian gave Jan & Dean wasn't finished, Brian never even had a demo of it and when he handed it off it wasn't even called Surf City, it was titled "Goody Connie Won't You Come Back Home". It's kind of a shame that Jan Berry doesn't get as much credit as he really should get for his work on this song, becasue prior to his accident, Jan was quite the opposite of the "clown princes of rock-n-roll" that has plagued the Jan & Dean act over all these years.
Awesome 😊
Always impressed
Thank You!

I didn't know Brian wrote this, wow what a talent . And the same for you, very tasty playing there.
Thank you!
That sounds great! Brian wrote a lot of it but Jan Berry contributed too. The writing credits read J Berry/ B Wilson

Play it daddio. 🌊
What’s the first 4 chords on the intro
C-F-G-E, then you start the verse on an A. I am playing the intro chords with a 3rd on top.
