very stupid question - the rate shown for each stock is in its local currency? Eg. Apple stock is in US Dollars, Maybank is in MYR, and so on? How about the currency for Gold? Can you make a video on withdrawing the money after selling the shares, please?
That’s right! For gold it depends on how you buy it. If via a us etf it’s in usd, if my etf it’s in rm I’ve withdrawn a few times already haha, will make a short I guess
Great video man! I see you've put in quite a few orders for US ETFs, quick question, how do you navigate Withholding Tax etc since no Irish Domiciled ETFs on Moomoo? Or is there another way you use to go around
I”ve created the account and accumulated the 8k in my account but there’s no indication for the apple stock in my notification/rewards. Can I check if there will be a notification in my profile that indicates the apple stock info?
Just wanna ask whether moomoo has made some changes after this video. I don't seem to have the option to set a stop loss like you do. Hope you would be able to help.
@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia A normal stock called KTI. I'm not sure is it related to experience level, or if the stop loss option is a premium feature of MooMoo, or they just completely removed it from the platform. I'm already in and what I can do now is just manually monitor and exit whenever the stock hits a certain price. Unless I solve the issue.

Just checking if I can buy Malaysia stocks from overseas. I m currently staying in Australia. I migrated here more than 17 years ago from Malaysia. I m interested to own some Malaysia stocks. Can you guide?
As of now only available for Malaysian and US stocks. They don't have Singapore shares available yet. But who knows, they might add more options later on.
Moomoo is pretty upfront about their fees. They've got a straightforward fee structure with competitive rates for trading stocks and ETFs. Plus, newbies usually get sweet deals like zero commission trading for a while.

Thanks for guiding from scratch👌🏽
No problem, hope it was helpful!
Hello mentor! How would moo moo compare to using tiger trade in Malaysia. Fairly new to trading and unfamiliar with how commissions and such work
You mean tiger broker? I’ve never used that haha but seems similar to moomoo. Would rather go for moomoo then since it’s regulated

I wonder that if we invest in US stocks do we have to declare ourselves our taxes for being a foreign trader
As far as I’m aware there’s no such thing. Even if we were an active trader We derived the income outside of the US and we’re not us citizens

Appreciate the support! I don’t rly mind paying withholding tax bcs I’m not investing for dividends, they’re a small part of profits
Is moomoo app works for dividend shares to direct transfer the dividend to our personal account?
It goes to your moomoo account, not bank account
Sir,is all the stocks in the klse are also on the moomoo MY platform? Thanks
Yep!
Which is better to invest in moomoo for mid term (like 2 to 3 years) S&P 500 or Maybank with stable dividend.
Personal preference, hard to say 😅 Maybank is lower volatility so it might be the safer option for that timeframe
Hi, if i plan to buy stock and hold it for the long run to gain dividend yield, is moomoo a good platform?
I’d say so, it’s safe and there aren’t any fees for holdjng
Moomoo ni sesuai ke bro untuk trade us stock secara intraday
Yep, takda pattern day trader rule

Go to me > promotions > one app to trade > scroll down and claim Apple share. Make sure to do it quick!

What’re you trading? Worse case scenario place a separate order and change order type to stop

If you can open a moomoo Malaysia account there should be no issues buying Malaysian stocks
Hi. Are you on tiktok? Coz i saw one account with your video
I am but there are a lot of impostor accounts. If someone dms you first trying to sell you something, it’s not me!
Looks like rakuten is still the cheapest for smaller amount but moomoo is quite cheap for larger amount 🤔. Wow it has more info 👍
Yep smaller amount Rakuten is cheaper bcs of low min fee, but I think any reasonable size (>RM800) moomoo gets cheaper already
Moomoo is cheaper only USD0.99 platform + 0.03% trading value vs. Rakuten minimum USD1.88
Can MooMoo also allow to trade Singapore shares?
Not at the moment unfortunately with moomoo MY

Is there any charge for money withdrawal?
Nope!

Nope!

how is moomoo compared to ibkr?
Moomoo better UI imo, ibkr slightly cheaper. Also moomoo is regulated here haha, ibkr isn’t
