This is totally peak Stones. Certainly the peak of the Ronnie Wood era. The Stones are totally firing on all cylinders. Ronnie bringing some additional faces swagger.

I kinda agree,,,,but I don't think many else would,,,,too coked up and drunk to sound really tight. 1978 tour might be better as far as Ron Wood era

I immediately liked the song "Stay With Me" by Rod Stewart. There was something so Stonesy about it... but I didn't know for quite a while that it was Ron Wood.
In my imagination, that cemented him as a new Stone before everyone knew he would become a Stone. He earned it!

same here - only I was 18. Best version of Sympathy for the Devil (an encore as I recall) I ever heard. (edit: th-cam.com/video/wOgcCRkMKVo/w-d-xo.html )
Fun fact - that air sock billowing out of the middle of the stage was, at the start of the tour, unambiguously phallic with Mick standing astride it and confetti shooting out the end. By the time it had arrived in L.A. complaints from some uptights somewhere caused the tour to add painted features, ostensibly to proclaim that it represented a thumb - therefore not a 40-foot long penis. A thumb that nevertheless still shot confetti out the tip.

I saw the Rolling Stones @ MSG 06/26/1975 and they where great. But after seeing this video I have the need to use the old Spinal Tap quote - They've got armadillos in their trousers and they're quite fearful. LOL !
