I picked up some Dime Boxes and searched them in hopes of finding something I would need for my coin collection. In reality, I was hoping that I would find some face value silver in these boxes because these types of dime boxes do not do well for me... This time it was different!
Let's see how much silver we found!

So my girlfriend wanted me to watch our show together but I told her it's DIME TIME and the video started with the greatest DIME TIME ever.
Getting back into the hunt... Lots to learn... First bank box of dimes... Only have 29 rolls done... Slow going... 3 - 90%, roll 10; 1964, roll 14; 1946 & roll 29; 1902 all in good shape... Epic

Coincidentally, I also went to the bank and got a dime box. Didn't search it yet. Silver have been slow lately. I only found two silver dimes and one 64 d quarter. Well keep up the good job. Love your content.
Dimes are a tough hunt due to the small date and mint marks. I have to methodically place each coin under the scope. Appreciate your enthusiasm!

Cool, you are hunting dimes finally. I got a $50 bag of pennies and it was a collection dump and I have at least 50 wheat pennies on my mat right now I will be posting the video on my second channel soon I haven't watched the dime video yet and I'm kind of excited to see what you find if you do find anything Good night RFT.

I recently discovered your videos because of my recent interest in silver hunting. I snagged 2 rolls of dimes from my bank last week. And the first one I opened had a 1948! I’ve snagged a few other rolls with no luck but couldn’t believe my luck with only purchasing 2 rolls and finding a silver dime!

Rob, I was just thinking - there can't be that many dimes in circulation in your area. I'm wondering if you're searching through the dimes you took back to the bank a couple of weeks ago. Maybe you should take a marker (red or black) and mark a few around the edges before you take them back to the bank. Would be interesting to open a roll and see a red or black edge in a future hunt.
I live in the Sandusky, Ohio area and remember when those 82 No Mint Mark dimes were discovered.
I find a lot of silver dimes in the coin star in Krogers.👍😀

Yes rob start hunting customer wrapped rolls , in my experience way more productive than bank wrapped rolls

Its crazy--all this time I've never hunted dime boxes--and I just recently hunted two boxes, and each one had a silver dime (despite the fact that the first box was 90% brand new 2021-P's)

Brings back memories from a few years back at a old job... xhange order came in so i got to check all the coin rolls. Ended up finding 29 1954 roosevelts in near perfect condition and a single 2000 S.

Rob I love hunting customer wrapped rolls. I have found some great stuff in them and refuse to let the thought all customer wrapped rolls are turned in by coin hunters.

I have found a couple full wheat cent roll scores, as well as one roll where I got 22 wheat cents, all were 1930-s or older (except a lone 1957)

I manage a pharmacy, found two rolls that were all 1946-64 silver dimes setting up the cash register this week, after watching this I feel like I should go buy a powerball ticket

Customer wrapped is where it is at!
Even though customer wrapped rolls can be a complete gamble I would always take customer wrapped rolls because you never know what you can get from them.

My bank used to make folks put acct number on rolls. They stopped it. For obvious reasons of course.
Customer wrapped rolls are always a gamble, but seems to me my per roll/box silver average is way higher in customer wrapped. Great finds, fun hunt! Congrats!

Picked up 2 rolls a found a 64. Then a couple weeks later I was walking by a coin star at the grocery store and in the Return was a couple pennies a quarter a washer a 1924 MERC Best find ever

Never was a coin hunter but as a grocery store Cashier I averaged 1 silver dime a month! I never got any silver quarters. I wonder how good someone could do at a bank if I was able to get silver that often.

I picked up 60 customer wrapped cent rolls. Must be around 45% copper. Although only 3 wheat cents, there was a ton of red copper!

Interesting is the first dime box I had found a ₩10 coin and a silver in customer wrapped rolls. I suspect customer wrapped rolls may be offering more goodies lately.

Some good finds. I only hunt customer wrapped dimes and do pretty good finding silver. Dont seem to find any of the proof reverse 70'. Idk if I'm just not seeing it or if they're that difficult to find...

And tips and tricks, and ways to get things cheaper and stuff like that, Thank You!!

I feel like customer wraps are a bit hit or miss, seeing as another collector or hunter may have rolled them, but they still beat out bank wraps. I’ve had numerous great finds with CW’s lately, though might just be a stroke of luck.

Hey Rob. Great video as always. I recently found a 1964 quarter in my collection and I noticed it has a rotated die (around 15-20 degrees). Do you think it adds any extra value to it?
Yes, but it depends on how much it's rotated and how rare a rotation is on that particular type of coin.
Haha you're the reason why my bank tells me there is a coin shortage and they won't let me order boxes of coins

My bank charged me a 5% fee for taking 28 rolls of pennies. The same bank that helped me the other day getting 28/37 Wheats with no fees!!! :(

Those were good boxes for silver for sure. Ive hunted over 200 boxes of dimes and never found a silver dime
0/200? WOW! Sounds almost like my quarters. I average 1 silver dime per box although usually 2-3 in a row have none and then 1-2 with a few to average it out. Sounds like you should try customer rolls and bank hop around for $50 per bank to test your luck!
Haha that's crazy cause I usually find 2 or 3 silver quarters in almost every box of quarter. I will definitely hop around on the dimes though that's a good idea
