The sound of this version doesn't resemble the audience tape I got in the early 2000s, which is thinner and presents the drums a lot clearer, with a less direct guitar sound. This actually sounds more like a generated dub of Vince's tape. Is this due to EQ and Compression at your end, or is this yet another source?
This was recorded under the stage by someone that worked at the venue I believe, this is not Vince’s recording. I did add eq, speed and pitch correction which could be the difference you hear.
This is the under the stage source. I got a clone of the master directly from the taper before it widely circulated. I believe his name is Rick? He was a local writer.
