Solo Wild Camping Pushing My LIMITS - Lake District Wild Camp

- Today I am solo wild camping in the Lake District again. Originally the plan was to wild camp on Loughrigg, but I had to change plan and ended up in Grasmere. The mountain I'd be solo camping on now is Silver How, a small mountain which offers great views over Grasmere and the surrounding Lake District fells. Today I would be pushing my limits wild camping, temperatures forecast to get down to 3 Celsius down in Grasmere, 1000 feet up temperatures would be close to freezing. With my new sleeping bag, the OEX Leviathan EV 900, would I stay warm throughout the night.

Great video. Get yourself a decent thermal mug and lid and a cooker windshield. Save gas and time. A foam kneeler pad gardening type is a good idea also. Use as a insulating seat, to kneel on or as a flat insulating table to put pots on to keep warm or drinks. Another tip is one of those car window screen protectors, the ones with foil on one side and thin foam on the other. They can keep food warm (I also wrap takeaways in them) they do a great job, for extra warm covering, even put one between tent inner and outer and of couse they are very light.

Thanks for the kind words, I was trying to keep my voice down as someone else was camping nearby and I didn't want to disturb their peace haha. I didn't get any this time but I picked some up on my previous trip😀
Oh, I see. Maybe they were being quiet as well. I wear a hearing aid which helps a bit, the volume was up on my speakers. I could do with getting some headphones. I will look at your other videos. @@uptosummit_
