However, I am just appreciating the fact that he acknowledges his privilege that he got opportunities because of his family and that he believes everyone, insider or outsider, should be allowed to be part of the industry and flourish. Nepotism will always be there and there is nothing to stop it. That has always and will continue to create an unfair playing field. If outsiders have talent, hard work and perseverance, nepotism cannot stop them from pursuing their dreams. That are many outsiders who have proved that point.

Ok so this is dumb. Nepotism is not just that my father was in the same industry so i got the passion and maybe got the initial opportunity.
Nepotism is when you get the 3rd or 4th oppurtunity. Or when you might just get a back door entry.
I am a doctor and was enjoying the sinful fruits of nepotism myself, but now that I have migrated to another country and starting from scratch, I keep wondering how my friends weren't getting the same opportunities as I was. Now I am struggling from the base level.
This is how nepotism works.
But corruption and nepotism is something you can't remove from society epecially in democracy. In a theocracy or a dictatorship you can very much limit the nepotism only to the very top elite of society. In theocracy vast majority of people don't have that much power. But since in a democracy power is divided at lot of levels a lot of people share the power and hence comes corruption and nepotism
@@montysaini8602 Agreed, but what we can do is provide ample opportunities to the less privileged as well. This way everyone gets a fair chance. The issue is not that people with connections get favors, but that the outsiders are denied opportunities.
I am not a Arjun fan but still liked his acting in 2 states, and he really has a good sense of humour.
Arjun is saying there is still a journey and a struggle.
That is not the point. The point here is the opportunity. Many start kids never make it even after having multiple chances but they got the opportunity.
Thousands of good actors never make it to the scene because they never got the opportunity.

Idk about his movies, but he was really funny in the video. Also, he seemed to have quite valid points. It's not the actor's fault that he easily gets part in the film, it's the directors fault who selects him because he is a star kid.
