The first simplification is ( x^1/2 + 15 )^1/2 + x^1/4. Then, ( x^0.5 + 15 )^0.5 = 15 - x^0.25. x^0.5 + 15 = 225 - 30x^0.25 + x^0.5. 30x^0.25 = 210. x^0.25 = 7. x = 2,401.

Hi! 😀I wrote sqrt(x)=t from which x=t^2
So
(Sqrt(t+15))^2=(15-sqrt(t))^2
So
t+15=225-30sqrt(t)+t
From which
30sqrt(t)=210
Finally
sqrt(t)=7 so t=49
Since x=t^2 I get x=49^2=2401

The answer is x = 7^4. That is an example of a problem that is easier than it looks!!! I shall use that for practice!!!
