JAPANESE TATTOO GUIDE 101: HANNYA MASK AKA FEMALE ONI

This is my first episode of the Japanese tattoo guide. I am doing this for you guys who don’t want to do a lot of research and wants a quick TH-cam video guide of the proper Japanese tattoo when you go meet your tattoo, artist or tattoo artist who are getting into the game who are studying Japanese tattoo. This video series will be a perfect guy for you, so I made a SparkNotes version of the Japanese, tattoos and meanings and symbolism I personally have a Japanese bodysuit. Yakuza style. I will put this in Spanish subtitles or I will make some videos in Spanish for those you guys who can’t speak English.

Hannya mask and meaning
Hannya mask: The hannya (般若) mask is a mask used in Japanese Noh theater, representing a jealous female demon. It is characterized by two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and a leering mouth. In Noh plays, the type of mask changes according to the degree of jealousy, resentment, and anger of the female characters
Whats the proper way to get It tattooed:
This type of symbolism Tattoo is a bit more flexible than other characters in Japanese folklore. But traditionally you’re supposed to get it either in red or white depending on your skin complexion and how much color you can take on your skin. Yes you can have it as black and gray as well. That part being said you could have it by itself or with a mask rope attached to it you can also have it with three types of flowers that are common the maple leaf, the cherry blossom, and the chrysanthemum . Also, however, you can also add other things in element as well such as snakes, spiders, bugs, Koi fishes, samurais, and geishas.
