Driving a Zagato Shooting-brake to Salon Privé caused problems !

- It's not every day you get given the key to an Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting-brake to drive to Salon Privé with £17.5 million pounds of supercars ! Well that happened to me at the weekend.
First of all a huge thank you to owner Robin for being so generous and trusting. It was a privilege showing your car for you. What an incredible machine.

That is some collection of cars! Don’t think I have ever seen a road filled with so many jaw dropping motors. The attention to detail is unreal on the Shootingbrake. What a day you must have add.

Only second to Felix`s day this is one of your finest videos Peter. The car you were driving for sheer styling, sound, and the joy of watching you exstatically going to this wonderful meeting. I have never seen so many exotics in one place. The reason I put Felix`s day ahead of this one is because of the love that was shown that day and so many people turned up to honour Felix a day I won`t ever forget. Terrific Pete well done more please!!!

OMG......I think I need an emotion control unit. That was an absolute masterclass piece of entertainment Pedro. Twenty minutes of sheer super car pleasure of a different kind, Sooooo many gorgeous motors. I think the editing was absolutely on it, I couldn’t even use the loo. Quite simply stunning..... You very lucky man Pete. Lancia Stratos is the car for me, a pure motoring ikon and a design that today's still looks as fresh as the day it was born. Aston are still the brand I love though.

1. It is a shooting brake not an estate.
2. Have you seen it. Shooting brakes in general are beautiful but this one takes it up a notch.

Yes, it isn't an estate in a practical sense but it has design cues similar to an estate which means its design is more focused around practicality rather than aesthetics. It is the same reason why a GTC Lusso Ferrari could never be the best looking car Ferrari makes.

I do think the ‘regular’ Vanquish Zagato is prettier, but the Shooting Brake is beautiful and it’s amazing that they even made it, you can’t not like a fast wagon

Green seems to be an 'in colour' looking at the line up. For years I never saw a car that colour and now, lots of them
Looks like a great day, wish I could have gone but had a prior engagement, well Mrs Bispal wanted to go for a long walk! Great selection of cars and the Zagato is beautiful, I've went in one last year and its a work of art and the craftsmanship is exceptional. Glad you enjoyed it :-)

Now that is a stunningly beautiful car, particularly the rear, it seems they left very little on the drawing board. I love the 'Zorro' zeds everywhere, even around the rear lights, and then they put a V12 in too, want one! 😋

Dang Sir Pete what a fantastic video! I agree the Aston is very beautiful! My favorite out of the S.C.C club was the blue Ferrari with white stripes! The f1 has aged the best out of any super car in my opinion! Also Sir Pete I got to see a ford GT in dark blue with white stripes this weekend it was so cool! I’d call a viper a super car would you? Thanks for the video!

One of the most beautiful cars ever made!... though one thing is bugging me is that front splitter because it is different than normal vanquish & now has camera on it plus is huge and beautifully made up of carbon but I am wondering how much ground clearance does it have at the front?....Mr. Peter kindly do reply...waiting....
I didn't even know this existed I have never seen it advertised I am going to put this on my to do list, if only I had kept some of my old cars and my dad's Humber Hawk or my Grandad's Rover 90.

This beauty reminds me the Ferrari GTC 4Lusso, the Zagota is just an ultra modern iteration. These two car are beyond my reach for a pleb like me, I might as well buy a Z3M Coupe and face my reality driving the clown shoes. That AM Zagota is minty!

For me the Muira is ‘still’ the most beautiful car. 😍
Copy that! But as a modern car the Zagato is'nt bad no? Miura was also my nr1 (still is) but would find it hard to choose.
Guy, there’s so many that it is an impossible task to come up with ‘the most beautiful’. Despite me coming up with the Muira I would also have to mention the Alfa Romeo Stradale from that era. This Zagato is incredibly striking in my book but I would prefer the Vantage for beauty. It’s so very subjective and really is in the eye of the beholder 😊
Kinda looks like a long Honda CR-Z. But much nicer obviously. Also the rear lights look like the thing that is in Tony Stark / Iron Man's chest!

It's certainly a good looking car. No question about that. Though there are a lot of other cars that have stolen my heart ahead this Aston. SL300 gullwing and series 1 and 2 E-types for starters.

There were spectators (general admission tickets) there but limited numbers and they had to conform to the C19 procedures too 👍
