Sorry about the abrupt ending. The battery in the GoPro didn't like the cold and gave up prematurely. I wasn't going to try to set up a new Livestream while driving 200 feet above the Straits of Mackinac.
Sunday morning. We went to the White River Valley Antique Association show yesterday. One guy had a 440,550, 660,770,880, and a 2-105. All were in clear coat paint. To me that made them not right as not one of those tractors came from the factory with paint that dust would not stick to. AC was the featured tractor so there was a bunch of them. There was an AC 180 with a single front wheel. There was an Amish guy looking at it and he commented about how it looked like it could tip over just sitting there. The Amish were providing most of the horses for the horse-powered equipment and they all had their Sunday go-to-meeting harnesses on. Lots of beautiful leather work and shiny chrome do-dads. At the plowing demonstration, they had an HG Oliver pulling a 2-bottom JD plow that was constantly plugging up with bean stubble. We really had a great day. At least it was warmer than your tractor drive day. You need to go modern by putting a QR code sign on the sides of your tractor. I bet your counts would go straight up.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris I do have to admit that the 2-105 all clear coated did look like one would think about seeing on the showroom floor. But only after about 3 coats of Simonize that was buffed to a perfect shine. I have photos of the line of 3-digit tractors and will send them to you when I get the time. I am headed out to harvest tomatoes from the 50 plants and then get the pieces and parts of the HAGAN sickle bar mower painted so I can begin putting it back together and then on the Power King. It is made to fit a JD 318 tractor and is supposedly a rare model, but I think it will work great with a few minor mods for the Power King
Thank you for live streaming, enjoyed watching. What tractor club are you a member of? I see that you have to be a member of a participating club to join in on the fun. I would love to do this next year. Thank you again, Chris. 🚜 👍
They have to be hauled back across. I have a neighbor that drives his tractor all the way there, takes about 3 days. He used to hire someone to trailer his tractor back to the south side, this year he's going to keep driving west, go into Wisconsin and take the ferry back to Michigan and drive back home again. I think he's gone for about 10 days all together.

We're on Mackinac island today, much nicer weather!
I like to play with my toys, and it's easier to touch up paint that isn't clear coated.
I love seeing “Ophelia “ . You drove her last year I think.

I'm a member of the Jackson Area Tractor Club. It's for insurance purposes that you have to be a member of a participating club.
If i ran into you at staging area was going to ask you how to adjust a 1950's governor but i missed you
I need to adjust Herman s governor. When I do that there will be a video
Also how many tractors were there?
1,265 tractors made it across.
So do you drive them up and back again? Or haul one way drive the other?

Was Ross the Oliver man there gotta imagine if he was, there there would have been some kind of sadness going on
They use school buses to shuttle people from the north side where we end down to the staging area. Maybe Ross was driving one of those. 😂
Where’s the rest? You stopped 15% across ?
My battery died
@@ThatOliverGuyChrisyour tractor doesn’t have a phone charger? lol
@@shellykamp7626 that would have been a great idea, 9 hours ago! 😂😅
Wasting way to much battery time just sitting and we don't get to see the rest of the parade.
I should have brought a charger. Sorry about that
