proper ridge and furrow. did some harrowing on a paddock yeasterday - too wet up here. sunk in a few times - do you find that your faster speeds add to effectiveness? i was taught that you should go the speed of a horse walking... but as we know what was done isnt always correct now.
Great question! So I can lift them up and down to adjust how aggressive they are. I try to find the right kind of level for each field and set a level towards the start of field too .
Good job👍I'm planning harrowing some times next week.On camera it doesn't look so steep so who was it then, who rolled tractor on that field?😁Grandad has a new toy,is he using new Deere the most?😁Thanks😁
another great video , now i know why harrows are used 👍🏻 an aside it looks like you’re having a lot of vibration on the drone causing jello on the footage. Check the gimble is free of dirt/dust and put some new props on , might sort it out
Good length narration and content
Excellent content
Beautiful views across the countryside
Thank you
Great video and great job on the field.
Thank you
Just stumbled across your channel great wee video 👍
Cheers William
Great video 📹 I understand about raking the old dead and clumpy grass but why roll it later?
Just to flatten the ground out☺️

Definitely! The quicker the better. Well to a point. If you go too slow it doesn’t do a lot
Good video..can the Harrow be adjusted for more or less aggressive harrowing...? Cheers, Steve

Yes so we have all John’s Deere’s and then a JCB loadall. It was an old worker on the farm ☺️
