This guy is spot on. Elon Musk is arguing the same thing. Green living has ruined Germany's economy. Other countries have got to learn from those mistakes. We have to wake up and realize we need to use all forms of energy for the right purpose, and not make any one form mandatory for all.
Sorry but that isn't really true. Green living did not ruin Germany's economy. They were reliant on cheap Russian fuel (gas and oil) to power their much larger manufacturing base. That dependency left them exposed to geopolitical risk, which caught up with them in 2022. They also let China steal a march on them with EVs. China has all the supply chains and mineral rights and a decade head start in tech on the German car manufacturers, so the best that Germany can do is not quite as good, at double the price. Germany is struggling entirely BECAUSE it did not invest sufficiently in its energy independence and resilience, and because its businesses failed to anticipate the future. The UK doesn't have the North Sea anymore, peak production was 25 years ago, and its delined not through overzealous taxation or mandates, but simply that it has largely run out. What we do have is near limitless, if inconsistent, wind resources and expanses of coastline and shallow sea beds. Grid scale batteries are now cheap enough that they'll play a growing role in smoothing out much of that inconsistency. Ultimately, the path to 99% UK energy independence is with renewables. Nuclear has a part to play too, but that similarly ties us to importing fuel from potentially hostile foreign powers. Gas will continue to have a bit part to play, as a strategic reserve, but to argue that the electricification of everything isn't the most efficient and cheapest path to take for the country is just incorrect, hence why even the petro-state of Texas is leading the charge on the transition. It's just economics.

Here is a CRAZY idea. For 5 years EVERY migrant pays INTO the system...? Schools, dentist, doctors & zero benefits unless paid in to the system for 5 years. 22 billion debt gone!
Here is an even crazier system. If you aren't a British citizen then you have no recourse to public funds. You must have health and income insurance. If you can't support yourself and your family without government support then you must return home.
We need a 2 tier system for healthcare. 1) Anyone who chooses to go private should be given tax advantages and allowance. 2) NHS services should only be offered to people who work and contribute. 3) People who don’t work but use the NHS should be billed. This bill can then be appealed, if they have fallen on bad times and are out of work out of misfortune as opposed to idleness than it should be crossed off. 4) Reduce Universal Credit by 25% and that should be food, energy, and clothing stamps. Offer a £5k loan fixed at 5% over 120 months for people’s who have been on benefits but have started a new job. 5) Deport illegal immigrants
You don't know what English Identity is? Well, with the English it is huge! Since it's Christmas here are my play on the 12 days of Christmas (some are directly related to Christmas to keep it festive) of the Gifts we gave to the world: Frederic Austin Although there were many variations and origins of this carol, it was composer Frederic Austin in 1909 that made it the one we all came to know and love. It is based on a traditional folk song but both the lyrics and the melody were altered by him. According to the Oxford Dictionary of Nursery Rhymes, the earliest printed version of this was a poem dating back to 1780 from the book Mirth Without Mischief. In that version it was a chant or poem that wasn’t set to music. Austin set it to music. Charles Dickens Considered the greatest novelist of the Victorian era. Among his works are The Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, and A Christmas Carol - The famous fictional Christmas story that gave the world the name synonymous with somebody unpleasant and ungenerous; the miser character "Scrooge" - Ebenezer Scrooge. It is said: "One could say that Charles Dickens has probably had more influence on the way we celebrate Christmas today than any single individual in human history." (The Charles Dickens Page). Eliza Acton A food writer and cook who gave the name for the traditional Christmas Pudding. The term is derived from the typical plum pudding that was common in the middle ages. Eliza may have been the first to have named her plum pudding "Christmas Pudding" by applying the name and recipe together. She used this phrase in her cookbook "Modern Cookery for Private Families" in 1845. The recipe still commonly used can be found Here. Eliza spent years testing all her different recipes for food in creating her book. And what also was new was for the first time ingredients were listed separately, rather than in the body of the recipe. Fellow English cook and tv personality Delia Smith once called her ‘the best writer of recipes in the English language’. Henry Cole The world's first commercial Christmas card. Henry sent the first Christmas card in 1843, his friend and artist John Callcott Horsley was the one who designed it. Tom Smith The Christmas Cracker. It all started when he was a confectioner and baker. "On a trip to Paris he discovered the French 'bon bon', a sugared almond wrapped in a twist of tissue paper. Bonbons proved a hit at Christmas time and to encourage year-round sales, Smith added a small love motto inside the wrapper. The inspiration to add the explosive 'pop' was supposedly sparked by the crackling sound of a log fire. Smith patented his first cracker device in 1847 and perfected the mechanism in the 1860s." (Victoria and Albert Museum). Edward Jenner World's first smallpox vaccine in 1796. It saved millions from death, but also prevented the loss of sight or painful disfigurement. Florence Nightingale The Nightingale Training School for Nurses, established within St. Thomas’ Hospital in London in 1860, was the first such school in the world, and her training book; Notes on Nursing, the world's first publication in nursing education in 1859. Joseph Lister He developed antiseptic surgery by spraying medical instruments, catgut. and bandages with a 1-in-20 solution of carbolic acid. "Lister, an English doctor and surgeon, became the first surgeon to perform an operation in a chamber sterilized with pulverized antiseptic. The result? More patients survived than ever before. Inspired, Lawrence created a unique formulation of his own" Listerine Mouthwash was named after him. So was Listeria, a genus of bacteria of the species Listeria monocytogenes. Harold Ridley Intraocular Lens. An artificial lens implant that replaces natural ones in cataract surgery. Cataract surgery with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation has become the most common and most successful of all operations in medicine. His first cataract extraction with implantation of an IOL marked the beginning of a major change in the practice of ophthalmology. "He Changed the World, So that We Might Better See It." (Indian Journal of Ophthalmology). John Charnley Hip Replacement. "Charnley's contributions to orthopedic sciences and surgery are so vast that it would be difficult to do justice when attempting to present more than a mere outline." (British Society for Rheumatology). Bernard Spilsbury Called the 'Father of Forensics' and was the first to introduce the Murder Bag to a crime scene. His techniques revolutionized how Pathology works today. The murder bag (or detective's box), was a specialized bag containing protective gear and tools to handle and retrieve evidence such as rubber gloves, tweezers, forceps, a magnifying glass, compass, ruler, and cotton swabs. "At his most productive, in the 1930s, Spilsbury was performing an astonishing 750 to 1,000 post-mortem examinations per year. He undertook more than 25,000 in his long career. Knighted in 1923, he was renowned as a pathologist who helped to establish the profession as a science." (History of Kilburn and West Hampstead). Thomas Hawksley Clean water supply systems. "he achieved international recognition for developing the first pressurised clean water supply available at the turn of a tap." It also saved many lives from Cholera. His engineering feats are forerunners of modern water supply and sanitation systems. He received knighthoods and tributes from Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, and around the world for solving their water problems. See the article on him: "A Forgotten Hero Thomas Hawksley Waterworld" for the article bearing his name from 'WaterWorld' (an online water engineering magazine serving the water industry worldwide).

Yes, the consultants complain that they earn ‘peanuts’ in comparison to their peers ‘in the West’ (competition drives prices down) but private appointments like scans and consultations are affordable to most people and easily available. Lots of Poles who live in the West use private dentists when on holiday in Poland, myself included. Same standard as the UK if not better at a fraction of the price. My friends who live in Poland usually use a mix of both- scans, tests and consultations privately and only more serious stuff on the NHS.

Peter lost me when he accepted the claim that the Israeli military is committing genocide in Gaza. The population of Gaza has increased in recent years; the loss of civilian/combant life is as low as any war in recent years could be. Urban warfare is always difficult. The critics of Israel never quite state what they'd do differently: file a lawsuit? Hold a candle-lit vigil? Is Israel just supposed to sit back and take it? It faces existential threats from those who make no bones about wanting to wipe it, and its inhabitants, out.
My point is that whether or not it is a genocide is being debated. The fact that there is a debate itself implies that what is happening in Gaza is not good. I am not anti-Israel, I just believe the response, as is often the case with this never ending conflict, is excessive.
I agree, Labour think we are stupid and weak. They will soon find out differently in May ! It’s the electorates of Britain whom have the real power by voting!! …. If we want things to change we need parties to canvas and people to vote !
The current NHS model is not fit for purpose as it has descended in capacity over 30 years when the demand has doubled due to more elderly and more immigration 15 million more but 50% less beds. @@_jamesbro_ Yes they are, but do you deny that they can be connected? After all, if money supply grows faster than the rate at which it is utilized (demand) then what's the result there? The result is that you get lower value of money overall because supply of money is growing faster than demand for it.

Elon Musk's business is making electric cars. Kudos to him for being a free speech marvel though.
Peter should join reform. I don't trust Tories ever again. I will never vote for Labour.
do you not like nurses
@@svenroeder I do, but you can’t pay them with money you don’t have and the policies of the Tories and Labour hinder our economy so we dont have the money to pay them. You can borrow like Labour are doing but that’s a short-term or rather more accurately short-sighted solution at best. Fix the underlying causes first or you cant hope to properly fix the symptoms.
@@svenroederdo you like murderers and pedophiles walking around UK streets ? Do you like paying for foreigners to sit in 4 star hotels! Decades of Labour and Con Conservatives have destroyed the UK !!!!
UK here 👍
Without the closure of all foreign aid, mass deportation and proper border security. We are done.
British taxpayers money for Britain.
china will do it instead. then military bases around africa will block off trade routes to the west. that is your trap. congratulations it's check mate, you've just crashed the western economy.
Being in favour of free speech, but not the speech you personally dislike because there are "lines" is such an unprincipled position. Genuinely disappointed at Tice's inability understand the importance of such a fundamental Western liberty. I think Reform are the best bet we have, but I'm still not sure they're in the right place on several important issues.
REFORM UK all the way! Nice one Richard! Great interview 😎
The Romans grew grapes on Hadrian‘s wall .
Having done a masters with quite a few lawyers on it, its not economics that they dont understand it is maths.
As a non economist myself, does it depend on what 'type' of economics they are being taught?
You Save For A Rainy Day And You Don't Rob Peter To Pay Paul.
Simple.
🤗🏴🇬🇧
I'm with you Peter on the freedom of speech element, interesting with the clash on opinions.
Tice is 100% right on net zero. It's utter madness.
Great interview, great guest McCormack. Please get Cummings on! People need to hear what he has to say!
Richard Tice common sense policts that's why I'm with Reform Nigel,Richard, zia,Rupert and the rest clever common sense people
Brilliant interview Pete. As you know I voted for Reform, and I'll vote for them again and again now.
Vote Tory or Labour and you get the uniparty. Nothing will change except for the worse.
Reform offer a change.
I'm with them
You don't know what English Identity is? Well, with the English it is huge! Since it's Christmas here are my play on the 12 days of Christmas (some are directly related to Christmas to keep it festive) of the Gifts we gave to the world:
Frederic Austin
Although there were many variations and origins of this carol, it was composer Frederic Austin in 1909 that made it the one we all came to know and love.
Charles Dickens
Considered the greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
Eliza Acton
A food writer and cook who gave the name for the traditional Christmas Pudding.
Henry Cole
The world's first commercial Christmas card. Henry sent the first Christmas card in 1843, his friend and artist John Callcott Horsley was the one who designed it.
Tom Smith
The Christmas Cracker.
Edward Jenner
World's first smallpox vaccine in 1796. It saved millions from death, but also prevented the loss of sight or painful disfigurement.
Florence Nightingale
The Nightingale Training School for Nurses, established within St. Thomas’ Hospital in London in 1860, was the first such school in the world, and her training book; Notes on Nursing, the world's first publication in nursing education in 1859.
Joseph Lister
He developed antiseptic surgery by spraying medical instruments, catgut. and bandages with a 1-in-20 solution of carbolic acid.
Harold Ridley
Intraocular Lens.
John Charnley
Hip Replacement. "Charnley's contributions to orthopedic sciences and surgery are so vast that it would be difficult to do justice when attempting to present more than a mere outline." (British Society for Rheumatology).
Bernard Spilsbury
Called the 'Father of Forensics' and was the first to introduce the Murder Bag to a crime scene.
Thomas Hawksley
Clean water supply systems.

@@emailsph3282 Yes, good choice, but I wanted to focus more on those that helped the world in more personal ways. I could replace the festive ones too, but even they have meaning to some one.
Millions of home would become freed up if they all peacefully got sent home, all of them.
His point about how not a single Cabinet minister has a background in business is crucial for me. They simply don't understand the impact that taxes have, and in a way, I don't think they actually care. The destruction of family farms, for example, is intentional.
Vote Reform and buy Bitcoin!
Buy Bitcoin and bring in AI to govern. Humans are not capable.
I’ll agree on the buy Bitcoin bit 🎯 but reform seem like another fake party to serve the globalist 🤷♂️
God is using you but He is restoring us. This is not a political lbattle. It is a Spiritual battle. Praise God,
Refreshing to hear Mr Tice talk unapolegetically about the case for non-state medicine. The Tories need to get their courage and do the same. The Overton Window of debate about "our NHS" must change. As he said, even Wes Streeting understands, at one level, that the situation is not sustainable.
Richard Tice is growing on me - Reform 2029 ❤ they are our last hope
Your quality of life isn't diminishing Tice, you and Farage are raking it in.😊
What Richard is saying about climate change is bang on the money.
This is a seismic clash, similar to the REFORMATION, it will be hard going BUT fully justified!! In my opinion. Please publish the Vision and Mission Statements of Reform UK so we can all SIMPLY focus and get our priorities right. Thanks.
Totally agree , climate hoax CO 2 is the gas of life . We did have vineyards in the north of England about 300 years ago . He’s right we are entering a cooler period and have been for a few years now . We also use to have frost fairs on the River Thames
YES!!! Been looking forward to this!!!!
Reform are intellegent men with life experience and thus strong ethics. Priase God !!!
We have the Magna Carta as our UK Constitution but it needs codification. The American Constitution is a direct copy of the Magna Carta!
Net zero immigration nay have worked 15 years ago but now remigration is vital as the millions that have come at huge economic cost and astronomical cost to the tax payer, our culture, way of life and standard of living needs correction or our children have little or no hole in their own lands
Well actually,
If non contributing syrians are returning to Syria, and people that add to the country come, That net zero migration is an economic and culturally net positive.

I’m from Poland and what Richard says about the private healthcare market is true. We have a large private healthcare market in Poland.
I will take a look at this.
This gent has got a good energy.
Always voted conservative, hate BS politics the art of not answering a question actually infuriates me.
Imagine being in a job interview and being asked a question. And skirting around it….. you can guess the outcome
I just want a pragmatic, honest approach to life and the world
They have my vote
Very good interview Richard, we have to return to a culture based on traditional British Christian values.
Richard talks great will vote reform for sure
Please interview Rupert Lowe as well
Vote ReformUK if you want to save this once great country.. They may not be perfect but they are so much better than the rest of the parties
I agree, Labour think we are stupid and weak. They will soon find out differently in May ! It’s the electorates of Britain whom have the real power by voting!! …. If we want things to change we need parties to canvas and people to vote !
He lost me as soon as he started talking about restrictions on free speech, such as antisemitism. There should be no such restrictions in any regard.
l agree with Mr Tice, vote Reform
ESG is also highly culpable for the Net Zero madness, and the excessive corporate control over the population.
UK Citizens Treated Has Nobodies In Our Own Country While Regular Immigrants Live Good Wealth And Health
The current NHS model is not fit for purpose as it has descended in capacity over 30 years when the demand has doubled due to more elderly and more immigration 15 million more but 50% less beds. This is the management of the madhouse to then expect a good service. France and Germany have 2.5 and 3 times the number of beds ,but no one here ever admits it.
For gods sake vote reform they are the only ones left to vote for
Very clearly explained, thank you Richard.
20:50 Hear Hear! The reckoning and justice on crimes against humanity, crimes against the people by 'experts', is still waiting to be acknowledged. Not forgotten! Not (yet) forgiven until we have proper justice restored and served!
I suffer with schizophrenia and autism and the best thing for me is working is the best place but finding the right work out here is very hard …
Tice has nailed it. Always follow the money. PS. I really despise the term "multiple truths" you mean multiple opinions, beliefs, or perspectives.
One of the best interviews I’ve seen with Richard. Just seems a bit more real and less like he is trying too hard somehow.
Why have we got next to no manufacturing industry in this country, no steel making industry, everything is affected by over expensive energy costs and net zero policies.
Britain is broken, is the title , I don’t think so. its totally phucked beyond repair.
Need to have Rupert Lowe on next, he's the best MP in the UK at the moment 👌🏻 👍🏻
I like Rupert and would very much like to interview him.
Carbon capture. Total bull.
I didn't vote for the first time ever (On holiday) but if I did it would have been Reform. I read all the manifestos and Reform was the best in each area. I watched the Farage interview with Jordan Peterson just before the election and he talks complete sense.
It's a shame not a single party even mentioned Bitcoin during the election. The UK could turn itself around in the next 10 years if it simply adopted Bitcoin.
Greens and islam ruined England
And the gov
Britain need reform
Reform must have a chance, and I'm with them. But I still think Tice should have the courtesy to explain that comment 'that lot'. I'm sure those people on that day were just ordinary British people - come on Richard it would be great if you just admitted your error. Maybe you didn't mean it like it came out? I would think a lot more of you for explaining it.
I agree, people do need to work but some honestly cannot, my son who turns 18 is autistic has struggled from being small being out in the community and socialiseing and school actually made his life really hard to get the tick first thing in the morning, he now has ptsd and hasn't passed any exams even though he would have got good grades ,he hasn't been outside for 12 month, my partner is also autistic, we are forgotten, he wants to have a job but first he needs support?
The government and education have failed him having a bright future
Disappointed that you didn’t ask him about the un-democratic nature of the Reform party, which was the reason Ben Habib left
47:12 Increasing the money supply doesn't cause inflation...By definition it is inflation..... Quote: "Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomena" Milton Friedman
One thing though to remember, a deficit on the government side is a surplus in the economy! ... MMT !
Inflation of money supply and price inflation are different things.
@@_jamesbro_ Yes they are, but do you deny that they can be connected? After all, if money supply grows faster than the rate at which it is utilized (demand) then what's the result there? The result is that you get lower value of money overall because supply of money is growing faster than demand for it.
I like Tice but Reform have continued to soften merging into labour/tories, employing their defectors and firing Ben Habib
So I'm losing a lot more confidence in them. They're still the best from the options but that isn't saying much. Don't expect mass deportations
But the interviewer lost me with his delusional takes on Hamas and Israel
Want a constitution? Sign the 'Pledge', join 'Us lot', and make Britain Great again.
I miss Richard's Sunday sermon.
You should do a monologue on how difficult it is to start a business in the uk with all the regulations and taxes. Why is there no tech company in the uk/EU yet we have massive tech industry restrictions?
I met the deputy treasurer of Reform at their London Christmas party. He assured me that the new constitution was filed, and that Farage would be divesting his shares - that's late November.
To date, Reform remains the plaything of one man. Before Farage came back it was on 5%.
As Farage has not divested his shares, were anything to happen to him, the party is in freefall with a M()sl1m CEO.
Why don’t politicians look at world tide gauges. Some are up some are down Fort Dennison 168 years old shows sea level slightly down over the last 100 years. It is not happening is it. Features on our coast are just the same after 300 years. Onlystorms causing erosion is the problem Get with it Tice, You need to employ Paul Burgess. As your adviser ,Reform is not up to date
Plate tectonics have more influence on sea levels than anything else
I was a massive Reform supporter but I am one of ''those lot' that Richard has disowned, and wants nothing to do with.
It’s not that deep
Can ya explain what you mean pls Paul
Hi Paul, TR has forgiven him. As painful as it is for you to swallow that unnesscesary and inaccurate slur, I can't see anyone else getting remotely close tothe policiess we need.
Yeah makes sense. Baby bathwater. Don’t make perfect the enemy of the good.
Oh dear. Please don’t act like a lefty snowflake over a few hurty words. Richard was being pressured by a journalist and in the heat of the moment said something he shouldn’t.
Frankly, whatever he answered to that question would have upset someone because the legacy media are desperate to pull Reform down any way they can. Just let it go and do what’s right for the country. Don’t act from emotions. You need to be strategic. Vote Reform. Our country depends on it.
Brilliant come on REFORM.
A great episode - Thanks
Mt greatest concern with The Reform Party is that it may die when Farage leaves. Can Richard Tice have the same impact? They have few good people but none who have the same level of draw as Farage.
If you look at nearly all the "human rights", adopted by the UK from the ECHR, they come with caveats that any member of the ECHR can negate those rights through domestic law.
❤❤❤❤love Richard and Isabella!
😂
The massive number of vacant upper floors to buildings on the high street is massive. I have cat tied out drawings to convert rooms above shops to flats, now occupied. Convert these to tax payingaccommodation and deduct it from the business rates of the ground floors below, This would revitalise main streets and side streets. It would increase the value of the property and the council could help with partial grants for the convention works.
Don’t just get rid of Net Zero, get rid of the Climate Change Act.
