I interviewed her for my book, "Rock Wives" in 1984. She seemed very sad inside. She was grieving something old, from childhood, but wouldn't admit it to herself. So instead she latched on to this mostly fantasy Jim thing. She told me on tape that Jim didn't take the marriage seriously, which I put in my book. But when the book came out, she left me a message on my answering machine, saying," If I ever see you again, you are dead meat." I taped everything and was meticulous about quoting her accurately. She was very unbalanced, for sure. She also told me she had agreed to do the interview with me because she had just signed her first book contract for her science fiction fantasy book, and she thought the Morrison interview would be good publicity for the sci-fi book.
I just got your book 2 days ago and I'm looking VERY much forward to it- had a short look-through and it seems top! Reading P. Kenneally's book at the moment, maybe 1/5 through. Well-written but full of barbs in all directions, yeah. Bitterness isn't a good look. Cyrinda Foxe could have done better in that respect too. 😬 Bless them all.
@@Lola-AreaCode212 At least Cyrinda's bitterness was hard earned and based in reality and her own lived experiences; whereas Patricia Kennealy has wrapped her entire identity up in a fantasy of someone else's life. She's holding onto something she never had and has spent nearly 50 years of her life trying to rewrite. That's a whole different kind of sad.
I don't buy her version of the relationship at all. The story has changed too many times. She's admitted she didn't think he took the pagan wedding seriously, that she was the one who wanted it. She's admitted he never gave her the pair of wedding rings she wore. He did blood exchange with Nico too. Then later she claims he wrote her tons of letters she can't show anyone for legal reasons. People who knew them both said he broke it off long before his death and avoided her, and it only lasted a few weeks or months, though she acts like they spent years together and she knew him better than anyone. People have treated her like the authority on Jim. She has built up a myth and a legend. Well, she is dead now. If there is an afterlife, she will find out the truth of the Great Romance. But, she's not the one he left the country with and she's not the one he left everything to in his will. She claimed he was going to come back to the states and actually marry her. No one else in the world heard anything about it. He was never seen to wear a wedding ring. He never told anyone he loved her, as far as I know. He never left Pam, and you would think he would if he loved Pat and considered himself married to her. None of her claims make sense. People around them said all of these things she claimed could never have happened in the few times they ever saw each other over the course of about a year.
I've never liked her much. She's very intelligent and she's a good writer, but she milked a very brief relationship for all it was worth, and made a lot more of it than what it was, and she never got over her catty jealousy of Pamela Courson, to whom he was genuinely committed. Their marriage was not legal, and he abandoned her, yet she doesn't seem to have moved on from it. It's clear that she was a lot more in love with him than he was with her. In truth she was a very small part of his life. They never lived together, he didn't leave her anything in his will, his friends and bandmates never mention her, and you can tell in the wedding photo that he was VERY fucked up.
@@rickebrite5409 Well, only Jim would know for sure and he's not here. But what we do know is that he lived and died with Pam, dedicated his books to Pam, and left his entire estate to Pam. He didn't dedicate or bequeath anything to Patricia.
Hell he wouldn't marry Pam and he would kill for her. That's how I know this is bullshit. There is no way that Jim would marry ANYONE. Even after he "retired" from Jim Morrison and welcomed his James Douglas Morrison persona. He wouldn't marry Pam, who he undoubtedly loved, so what makes people think he would marry some Random girl?
For years and years Kennealy herself privately and publicly acknowledged that Jim Morrison did not consider her his wife until she thought she could capitalize on her part in the film "The Doors". Based on the self-contradictory, self-serving and flat-out lies Kennealy has been caught in, I am wondering if there ever was a "ceremony" or if anything happened between these two at all. Kennealy has revealed herself to be a very aggressive, scary, lying, opportunistic, disturbed individual in my opinion. I'll just have to take comfort in the fact that all of her money-making schemes failed miserably.
All anyone has to do is search "SatireKnight Patricia Kennealy". They have archived all of her ugly online rants and have expertly called her out on all of her self-serving lies. (You may want to avoid, "An Open Letter to Jim's Fans", a truly sickening, hateful, nasty rant.) If you are on Pinterest you can check out the "Patricia Kennealy, Strange Days Indeed" board. Definitely not a fangirl tribute - lol!! Then again, maybe not, it is not healthy to spend too much time inside the mind of Patricia Kennealy (minus the Morrison). She is toxic. But at least you know where to look if you're ever in an argument with a Kennealy fan.
How can you smear a person who does such a wonderful of tripping herself up? Caught in lie after lie after lie and then there are Kennealy's very own, constant self-contradictory (and not to mention purely self-serving) statements, the "Rock Wives" interview being just the tip of the iceberg. Kennealy was simply stupid enough to think the public would take her word regarding her "relationship" with Jim Morrison (I guess someone with Kennealy's mindset would look at stalking and harassment as a "relationship") and Janet Erwin had the facts on her side and Erwin was backed up by friends of Jim and Pam as well the surviving Doors. Also, Kennealy is very fluent in "legalese", she blathers endlessly on why "copyright laws" kept her from PROFITING off of the poems and letters that were later found to be forgeries (but Kennealy assumed that the public did not know that nothing stopped Kennealy, legally, from letting people see all of her fake "proof" for free) and knew that using the term "memoir" and phrasing things a certain way, leaving certain names out of her would keep her from getting sued. Kennealy had a publishing contract for a while and if she thought she could go after Erwin legally, she would have. It was Jim Morrison's younger brother Andy and a handwriting expert and Erwin's article that destroyed Kennealy's dream of making a fortune off of a guy who Kennealy had not forgiven and STILL has not forgiven for choosing Pamela Courson-Morrison over her - given Kennealy's viciousness and aggressiveness I don't think she would have hesitated for a second to go after Erwin in a court of law if she felt she could disprove Erwin's statements. Kennealy knew she could NOT disprove Erwin's statements and so Kennealy did nothing. I think SatireKnight really nailed it on the head regarding Kennealy versus Erwin and the article Erwin wrote: "[Kennealy] is a woman who wrote a rambling, several-pages-long screed on her website about a person who wrote a book about Jim and Pamela, merely because she [Kennealy] was outraged at the book's existence. Kennealy was screeching up and down the place about how outrageous this was, what an offense it was to darling Jim, and even making a bizarre reference to attacking the author with a sword. Not kidding. But a person she once knew [Janet Erwin], who openly and explicitly refutes many of the things in her memoir? From Kennealy's actual hair color (proven!!), to what Jim Morrison really thought of her, to the paternity of Kennealy's aborted child to Pamela's place in Jim's life? Not a word. That, to me, says more than any actual refutation ever could. Much like the 'Rock Wives' interview Kennealy doesn't dare mention it [Janet Erwin's, 'Patricia Kennealy: Your Ballroom Days Are Over Baby!']. " Search "SatireKnight Stuff Patricia Kennealy Wants Forgotten" for the full article. Erwin may have been one of Jim Morrison's groupies for a brief period of time but it must be so embarrassing for Kennealy to know that she does not even qualify as being one of Jim's groupies let alone someone he considered to be an important part of his life. Even in her "memoir" Kennealy admits that she may have hallucinated the whole "handfasting" thing, so she and Morrison even having so much as a one night stand is also very questionable. The only difference between Kennealy and the groupies that Jim Morrison actually DID have brief relationships with is that Kennealy was the most aggressive, the most vengeful, the greediest, the most entitled and Kennealy has demonstrated that she has absolutely no sense of shame. (Doesn't it embarrass her at all that Jim Morrison's random girlfriends, who Kennealy loooves to hate, all had more self-respect than she ever has or ever will have?)
Jim laid hundreds of women... some for weeks at a time some a quickie behind the stage... but he always went back to Pamela Courson... the time period she is speaking of is when Jim is documented as his most Bi-Polar moments, he was on a decline physically and never was able to get out of the grip of his drinking. Whatever the real truth is Jim was a trailblazer and a poet who paved the path for almost all other major Rock and Roll artists of the 80's and on.
I came across a book by a girl who I had never heard of. Young, and I think she met him in the Library in San Francisco. Every so often he would phone her up and take off somewhere for a weekend. Can't remember her name, sorry but I found it really interesting. She doesn't write it to big herself up, like some of these people do.
The members of the Doors have stated on the record that this lady is a joke. John Densmore during an interview that Pam Courson was his soul mate. This is the worst kind of fame seeking
A bunch of people have called her a liar and an attention whore. It pisses me off so much that she has been so brazen all these years, building her entire life around his memory, selling books and giving interviews while accomplishing nothing on her own. She's disgusting.
@Jeremy Stillwell Your a FUCKING joke! THE dealer DIED of an overdose 2 YEARS later KARMAS a BITCH baby! All those people an lives he ruined BY handin OUT freebies to GET them all hooked on the KILLER SHIT CHINA White! Pam died of broken 💔 fueled by the scum pusher man
This lady is a dreamer, they were never legally married, the love of his life was Pamela. She preformed some kind of ritual and claimed they were married, She's full of BS. He didn't stay with her very long at all, he spent his time when not in the studio or on tour with Pamela. Jim did not take what she did serious. This lady is a joke. 🙄
That Patricia is fucking Crazy and parasite she only made Jim worst because of her Crazy Desire for Jim. Most of his songs from the Doors 3 First albuns had something to do with his first girlfriend Mary, who he really Felt um Love with!! his First Girlfriend people !! First true Love. He ask her to marry him!! She didnt want to in that time. Studding Jim and the Doors there are a lot of things we truly dont know. So in my opinion Pamela wasnt the Girl of his life. She was Fun good vibes but i think he wasnt madly in love with her. He had a lot of other Girlfriends during his thing with Pamela. He really sufferd with Mary. He wrote THE END because of his break up with Mary. After that he became a Man without Hope for true love. Thats why his songs mostly are Sad but Great!!!
Courson was documented for her extreme violence and verbal abuse against Morrison. Courson was the last person with Morrison when he died. She refused a proper burial and autopsy. Though she had the money for a headstone, she refused to pay for one. She wanted the money for first-class airplane tickets out of Paris and back to L.A. The tickets were for herself, a boyfriend, two friends, and her drug dealer. She also wanted money for her apartment, expensive taste in clothing, and heroin. Courson was not his soulmate. Courson used heroin and gave Morrison some before his death under the pretext that it was cocaine. She did not call the police or ambulance that night, though she checked on him three times while he was in the bath. Most people do not sleep in the bath or stay there all night. She did not summon assistance. She took heroin and went to sleep. Courson is culpable in Morrison's death. When he died, her first concerns were access to his money and the status of his will. Morrison was planning on leaving Courson, changing his will, and moving to New York. He had a solo album and some books of poetry planned. The alcohol took its grip and that is why it was hard for him to leave. If he loved Courson so much, why did he cheat on her all the time? For example, when he met the VU singer Nico, he ignored Courson for two months and had a long affair with Nico. Not exactly the stuff of legendary love, is it? He refused to marry her or sign any live-in cohabitation agreement. He kept a separate residence from her. He had affairs with other women during his relationship with Courson, which he described as on-again, off-again, tumultuous, and based on friendship. He even told friends they rarely had sex. He resented her addiction. She hid aspects of her life such as spending money on expensive clothing and use of ketamine from a veterinarian's office. I am tired of hearing about how 'great and important' Courson was.
@@garyenwards1608 Jim Morrison overdosed in a night club and the owner and the dealer moved him to the apartment. Maybe Jim thought it was cocaine but the count was the known heroin dealer at the time.
@@gmar7836 -- 1) Even if this lady doesn't like poetry, your response still doesn't answer my question. 2) The lady in the video says that she likes some poetry. You might as well have just said that "Because she doesn't like his poetry."
Eve Babitz slept with Jim all the time and she actually told him his poetry was "bad". I dont agree with her but she was a writer herself so maybe she was a little picky
Yes, it's true. And she is still accepting donations and never misses an opportunity to tell her Facebook followers all about her health woes and leave posts that read, "...am I losing my endurance????" She redefines the term "shameless".
oh yes old lady he really took your marriage serious. he left the country with another woman for over a year. oh yes he was very serious. she's exaggerating hugely!
She uses the name Morrison and is considered a widow but they weren't married and its funny he was with pam in paris when he died it was pam who he trully loved sorry patriciayou were just a side dish so get over it
with heroin...pam courson was a true heroin junkie and od herself 3 years later. In Paris there was never an autopsy performed. She was the only one with him that nite, and was under the influence of heroin also... We'll never know exactly how it all went down..
luvdrmd74 His Songs on the 1st 3 albums were dedicated to his love Mary Werbelow he had a really difficult time getting over her, she couldn’t be with him because she didn’t feel the timing was right and they would’ve worked out. He met Pamela after Mary ended the relationship. She’s written in a diary she didn’t know if she was pregnant by Jim or her Fiancé at the time yet she Still continued to hound Jim..
Jim Morrison Will & Testament is in the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, And it states that he was not married And everything was to go to Pamela ! This woman is very sad & Craves attention! Patricia stalked Jim & Yes he did not want nothing too do with patricia at the end ! Patricia says she has all these poems & letters but refuse to show them to the public ! Also she claims that necklace is from Jim? ! Funny how her websites & Other interviews she claims all Jim got her was a ring ! Pamela is fact Jim Morrison common law wife ! She is his legal wife Pamela Morrison! Patricia was just a groupie of Jims along with many others ! Also she's full of shit on not letting Jim drink ! Jim was unable controllable! ! Everyone who knew him has said the same ! Patricia should drop the Morrison last name out of respect for Jim & Pamela Morrison & His family !
All this woman says are things that can't be proven. He can't defend himself. And who gave her the name the lizard queen? That's total bullshit, as I think most everything she says is. He may have cheated on pam, but she was his love. If Jim felt the way this woman says he did about her, he wouldn't have went tp paris without her.
Pamela's heroin addiction certainly did her (and Jim) in, but really, Patricia Kennealy's attempt for 15 more minutes (decades?) of fame is palpable and pathetic. One could argue that Grace Slick, who was/is intelligent and also had sex with Jim, would have more of a claim on Jim's history. Or photographer Gloria Stavers of 17 magazine for that matter.
Stephanie Blake I think Pam and Jim were destructive to each other. no matter how bad they were for each other I think she was the girlfriend he did love. Patricia may have been more his intellectual equal but I don't think there was any love there on Jim's part. I also wonder if Pam was a bitch due to all the drugs she was on probably giving her crazy mood swings. friends gathered together sounds like an interesting read. cab you elaborate more on what the book said on Pam? I think Pam is fascinating is a way Patricia is not. by the way iv read a lot of your posts on here and you have some good info.
She wasn't a groupie, she was a serious journalist. I think she was just obsessed with him and made more of their relationship than what was there for opportunistic reasons as well as emotional ones.
im a 16 year old in 2022, so im pretty far from ever knowing her but here is my interpretation of this (if anyone ever sees this). her trying to prove their love with material items and 'marriage' makes me doubt it even more. jim and pam never married, yet their love was undeniable. it seems like patricia was latching onto anything for validation which is sad because she probably just wanted to be loved. but its hard to feel much sympathy when she used jims name for personal benefit, especially in such a passive aggressive way. at 10:06 dismissing his poetry because she couldn't understand it is pretty low, everyone's allowed opinions but saying so bitterly art "has" to be a certain thing to be good, tells me all i need to know. but hey what do i know... LOL
I appreciate the curiousity and at least being able to explain your perspective. But let me just be straight up with you. Relationships are difficult, nuanced and complex. You aren't going to always agree, understand or connect with everything your partner does. I have hobbies/things I am deeply passionate about that my wife either doesn't much care for, or just doesn't understand it. But I still love her, and she still loves me. And sure, if I REALLY wanted to I could go out and find someone who does enjoy those same interests as me, and be infatuated with that idea, but the love I have for my wife overrides all of those feelings. I love what I have built with her. If I was wealthy and famous, then sure it would be way to easy to chase those infatuations anytime things got rough in my relationship, and thankfully that wasn't a feasible option for regular me. So I can empathize or at least understand why Jim was able to go back and forth. Connect and disconnect so easily. And Patricia seemed to be a woman who loved Jim, but also wasn't afraid to stand up to him and challenge him. Well, some people don't like to be challenged, especially if you're addicted. She was someone who could keep up with Jim when it came to more deep things, and challenge him mentally and emotionally. I think he liked it, until he didn't. So he ran to Pam. Pam was the complete opposite. It's why he went back and forth. He was infatuated with Pam. Infatuation isn't always love. But infatuation can sometimes be more fun, and less bourdening than love. I do think he loved them both, very much, just in vastly different ways and different reasons. There is going to be infinite nuances in a relationship that dictates it, that none of us will ever be able to know or fully understand. Relationships are complicated by default. Add fame to the mix and it beomes even more messy. And fame back then was far different than fame today. Then you add addiction in the mix and it can spin out of control immediately. Feelings are complex. And it is completely impossible to take years and years of a relationship or your feelings and have the ability to give it proper context in an interview. It's just not at all feasible. Love isn't always what you see in movies. It is never all of this or all of that. And the older you get, the more you realize it. Sometimes the hard way. But humans are deeply complex, even if at surface level it may not seem so. And relationships are no different. I hope that answered your question. I understand your logic though. In a perfect world your viewpoint would be perfect. But sadly, even if we so badly want it to be, it will never be a perfect world.
@@YerpDerp17 yes this definitely makes sense too! looking back i wouldve left out the part about jim and pams love being undeniable as its sounds pretty close-minded but what i meant was from references like close friends and family of jim, his and pams connection had more proof and backing up behind it, not that we'll ever know tho only jim and pam will know the truth. yes for sure you can not understand your partners interests and still be in love, but it comes down to how you go about it, theres a difference between not understanding and straight up trashing it. her listing how he failed to meet the standards for art (who is she to decide a universal rule for art, sure she can have an opinion but she stated this is as it were fact) at 10:29 in what i see as a snarky demeanor isnt really how you expect someone to talk about the supposed love of their life especially once theyve passed. also considering his entire existence revolved around his poetry, it was a lifelong passion and lifestyle not just an interest. however her seeming snarky now doesnt disprove whatever happened at the time. maybe her and jim were quite harsh or honest with eachother and thats why she seems passive agressive when talking idk maybe i am reading too much into it of course as you implied this is purely from what ive seen online, in reality i dont know her and despite being a fan i dont know jim but this is just my intepretation of her from how shes portrayed herself to the public. but as you said relationships, especially in this case with drugs etc involved are too complicated for us to decipher whats true and whats not. at the end of the day a relationship from the 60s isnt on my priorities list lol im just a mega fan of the doors so do deep dives quite a lot! thanks for your reply!
There are lots of little things here & there that make her story ring false. Around 7:15 or so, where’s she’s basically saying so-be-it if people think she’s lying about the relationship, she uses the phrase if people “don’t buy into it” then that’s “their limitation.” Wow. Anyone who’s not a liar would’ve said those who “don’t believe me.” “Buy into it” clearly is her, however unconsciously, admitting she’s trying to peddle a phony bag of goods that she hopes we’ll buy into. Also, she is not really as smart & intellectual as I’ve been led to believe; she’s really just a bullshit artist, whereas a true intellectual navigates the world from a place of truth. She’s not even smart enough to avoid contradicting herself within the same sentence in several spots, which is common for liars as they’re not savvy enough to lie consistently as they blather on, weaving an intricate web of lies. She’s really more suited to PR/marketing/advertising than a truth-seeking profession like journalism. Ethical journalists also don’t sleep with, claim to sleep with, stalk, or try to sponge off their sources. She is pathetic.
you ppl defending this chick no NOTHING about the doors history, until you do, dont comment. All ppl close to this situation called her nothing but a stalker. They had sex a few times, she fell in love, madly, he did not! Shes lived in that marriage fantasy for 45 years! The necklace she speaks of, she bought and engraved herself. Jim thought her crazy. end of story. Marriage? Never happened, no witnesses, it happened in her head! Actually, its sad to see someone never let go of something that never was.

Jim didn’t legally marry anyone, not even Pam, though she repeatedly asked him to settle down with her & get married but he never did. Manzerek said that he didn’t know why Jim wouldn’t marry Pam in one of his interviews talking about Jim.
Have you ever read Kennealy’s 1992 book Strange Days: My Life With and Without Jim Morrison? Kennealy was/is a very literary person with serious interest in magic that makes her like the doppleganger of Pam, and moreover it could be seriously argued that in this regard, Pam was a dilettante compared to Kennealy. It seems plausible at least to me that Morrison could have loved Kennealy and Courson both. Because in reality people are sometimes in love with two people at once, or confused as to what they really want, or act in ways that self-sabotage what would be best for them, etc. etc. It seems that there are an awful lot of people who are convinced that Pamela Courson was Jim Morrison’s sole mate and Patricia Kennealy is a lying psychopath. The pathology of this extremist view seems a fair indication that the truth probably lies somewhere far more in the middle. Read deeper into a lot of Morrison’s poetry and one gets the sense no doubt that he was deeply unhappy with his love life. While there’s plenty of ups in regards to his feelings of love for his partner there are plenty of downs, especially to be found in say, his Paris Journal poem. At the time of its composition Courson was dating Morrison and Jean de Breteuil, and is it so hard to believe that Morrison could have also had feelings for Kennealy? If nothing else, obviously the scenario was a “it's complicated” type scenario, to put it mildly. I do suggest looking deeper into the question, and recommend at least giving Strange Days the time of day, before coming to believe with absolute certainty that Jim Morrison couldn’t have possibly been in love with two women at the same time.
@@alexanderbuchanan3552 Thankyou for saying these things. I have the book too, and believe Patricia. I even made a comment on a photo of Jim she posted on Facebook, and she liked it!
Peta, that's awesome! I really enjoyed reading Strange Days, it's very well written and seems to offer a very sincere picture of her relationship with Morrison. It's especially touching to see that she was basically the first to visit his grave, and the only one for a long while, and she performed traditional mourning ceremonies for him to help his soul along. To see all of the hate that gets leveled at Kennealy is tremendously sad, I'm sure it must have affected her over the years. I suppose in the end sometimes we can only live with what we know to be true and can't worry about the perceptions that others have of it.
Jeremy Stillwell: The same dealer, Jean de Breteuil, who sold to Janis Joplin the heroin that killed her. It's true. First learned that in "The Final Times of Jim Morrison," the great Investigative Poem by the brilliant Ed Sanders. Did you ever read it?
He had many "true loves." I think this lady was just infatuated with him just like everyone else. Pamela Courson was the only girl that i feel was in his heart and his mind the entire time he was alive.
Its called pseudologica fantastica or mythomania syndrome..its when you start to believe your own lies..i think she has blown a fly into an elephant. Her book doesnt require a shred of proof and we have to take her word on everything pertaining to the so called relationship..the necklace is a classic case of this and would have been very un- morrison like to have put something as corny as the engraving read.I think a couple of nights hanging out with a stranger was in keeping with morrisons quest for sensation and his restless nature.Once he tired of her ( he found her intelligence and personality 'brittle'(his words) . his brief time in new york over, he moved on.I think 'Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned' would be an appropriate title for her biography. She is a writer of fiction and her greatest work is the selling of her 'jim morrison was my husband' illusion to gullible doors fans. She became a stalker and a fantasist whos self delusion has at least made her a few revenge dollars from those that buy her story.Morrison probably had a hundred such people dotted around the U.S where he could escape for a few days..the difference is Patricia was determined and had the Ego to pursue him,try to patronise Courson and eventually be one of the factors to drive him to escape to Paris..
This is what a blogger who goes by the name "SatireKnight" who has read and reviewed many rock biographies and who had the displeasure of reading Kennealy's (minus the Morrison) insane, nasty little piece of fan fiction had to say about her..."memoir": "Yeah, this is a LITTLE different from the other Bitter Ex books, because most of the Bitter Ex books involve a divorce from the rock star. In Kennealy-Morrison’s account, it involves the DEATH of the rock star. But there’s still so much bitterness and rewriting of history that it’s hard to see it as anything else. There’s so much hate and bitterness in this book that she had to write a FICTIONAL BOOK with herself as a Mary Sue to get even SOME of the venom out." link: satireknight.wordpress.com/authorial-madness/authorial-madness-patricia-kennealy-morrison/strange-days-my-life-with-and-without-jim-morrison/ Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and Hell definitely hath no fury like an aggressive stalker scorned.

Sometimes that shame involves deficiency in certain skills, like balancing a check book or reading a partner’s emotions. So, to compensate for our inadequacies, we may conceal the truth out of a desire to self-protect. But lying has its obvious dark sides. "In Ekman's experience, most liars who are compulsive or pathological don't want to change enough to enter treatment. Usually they only do so when directed by court order, after they've gotten into trouble, he says. Or they do so after their lies have resulted in dire consequences such as bankruptcy, divorce, or loss of a career. Little research exists on treatment options for liars. Counseling or psychotherapy may help, with a focus on how to reduce impulsivity. Don't expect remorse, either, he says. Agree that her ugly necklace is fake just like her relationship allegations. Nothing about the tacky thing speaks 1960s that I can see; but it is big enough to hold the inordinately long, corny & fraudulent inscription she claims Morrison wrote for her.
However after Oliver Stone's film I personally feel as though Patricia felt insignificant and became resentful of Courson's role in Jim's life; Kennealy was a consultant on Stone's film and after its debut she began changing her story and then came the book and bitter name calling of those who question it ("pamheads"/"doorzoids").. Kennealy is just a profoundly sad and pathological person whom I fascinating.
Ray hated that movie, cause it was nothing like Jim, that's why he made "the soft parade" to show the real Jim. The only thing I like about the movie was Kilmers vocals
I'm not going off on Val Kimer but yeah "the JFK assassination of Jim Morrison"... well, I give credit to the Movie being made in the first place but as a Director actually interested in his subject instead of being a Drama Queen i mean seriously Oliver Stone is...but for "Platoon"...a totally worthless piece of shit. I'm glad to hear an actual primary source talk as has been true of those of the Kennedy Assassination as well as I do think in the insane post 9/11 and now ahem "post Covid-19" World these actual accounts really do matter to help wrap your head around the idea that those claiming to be trying to keep you safe from harm are in fact murderous nut jobs who truly do belong in an insane asylum for forcing their insanity upon the American People. *THESE ARE THE VOICES THAT MATTER.* Sorry if you weren't there and have some bitch, gripe or complaint about that but that just means you weren't there...and by God you may have been very lucky for to have that as true! Anyhow interesting to hear how lucid "Mrs. Lizard" is! I had no idea!
Why do people presume to know the personal feelings and actions of a man they’ve never met? A man that passed half a century ago. If I were a betting man ( I’m not), Pamela was Morrison’s “ soul mate” while Patricia was his intellectual mate. But honestly, who will ever truly know and why should it matter? She appears sincere in her opinions and beliefs and she’s an engaging story teller. Good enough for me.
I think Jim’s soulmate was his high school girlfriend Mary , he never got over her and kept asking her if they could get back together even when he got famous. She regretted it all her life that she didn’t , he was the love of her life too.
I get full of rage and fury whenever I see this epitome opportunist. I can go on and on. To live a fraudulent life like she did, relishing in the coatails of Morrison. Even going as far as taking his name in a non legal marriage. I mean look at the broad, like I bet the acid Morrison was on made her look good. I mean her face is not pretty. Never was even in her day. But I have to give her props, she took that brief and lucky experience, and made a decent living off it. Like to hear her in interviews. I seen maybe in this one or another, she stated Morrison would not drink around her cause he knew she wouldn't put up with it! Like everyone surrounding him, from family, band, employer, couldn't get him to stop, and she can? Really? Anyone who told him what to do he did not take well to. Pissed me off to that she is using the Doors music in a distasteful way. Getting over copyrighting by playing a song with no singing, and similar music. A thing people do to get past paying proper fees
I don’t blame a person like Patricia for feeling the way she does about Jim, he of course captivated her, so I don’t blame her. Love can make us crazy. Besides, we weren’t present during their private conversations. A man like Jim, shouldn’t of played with peoples hearts, he should of been more self -aware of his power. I don’t know the guy, but we have seen and read this type of love triangle before.
as a big Doors fan, I cannot help but feel sorry for these women who were associated with him during this era. I was a child then, but during the sixties, men had it made. With women finally on a reliable form of birth control, the pill, it was touted that now women had the sexual freedom that men had. Unfortunately, many men, including Jim took advantage of the times. He was having relations with several women at once, and coming and going whenever the mood struck him. To listen to the women he was with, you would think he was a prince. These women were emotionally damaged after time spent with him. Jim, I love your music, and you were a beautiful man, but you took advantage of a few women who would have given you the world.
What if we stop being judgemental and realize we were not there? She is a fiction writer so I'm sure there's been embellishment but maybe everything she says is true from HER perspective? No doubt her & Morrison had more of a connection than a one night stand. As for Pam, she may have been a first love but I'm sorry, addiction does not equate love. Their relationship was toxic and of a codependent nature. Kennealy was interesting, intriguing & intelligent. Pam was naive, reckless, simple & childish. Who was he with when he died? An overdose is not love. Who are we to know what truly happened?
Right. There are certainly lesser men who lie and lead on several women at the same time. I really hope that people aren’t judging Patricia just because she’s a Pagan. That would really be sad. We also have to remember that Pam is not an American Sweetheart like Meg Ryan. Nonetheless, Jim and Pam are gone and can’t defend themselves. I’m not sure what to believe. I think it’s possible that Jim Morrison convinced both that they were very important to him. In reality, the substance abuse was killing him. Not even the greatest woman in the world can save a guy who wants to stay addicted. Maybe he loved them both? I guess we will never know. 🤷🏻♀️ He was with Pam the longest, but I find it troubling that she didn’t get Jim a headstone, but had the money.
If Pam hadn't died, does anyone think she would have still come out with all these books and interviews about Jim and their "love" for one another? Hell, only one person (that I, personally know of) is alive that can accurately state the true nature of their relationship. Only after Pam died did she legally change her last name. Man this woman pisses me off like no other. No idea why I continue to watch this video.
NO! If Pamela didn't die, she still wouldn't have come up with anything. Simply because she never did come up with anything and was a hopeless junkie before she met Jim. She was one of the "gonnas". I'm gonna this, I'm gonna that, I'm gonna have a business (on Jim's money). Though I am quite sure that had she ANY capacity to focus and come up with anything at all, she would. She would milk Jim Morrison for all she could. As she did throughout their relationship. Pamela was a heroin junkie until the end of her life. She, with all her mind games and sleeping around contributed to Jim's downfall. Jim had nothing to live for anymore. She took full advantage of him and his love for her. All he wanted was for Pamela to be happy. Why would Patricia piss you off? She is of no consequence and did not hurt Jim as Pamela did. Pamela was the one sleeping around quite openly too, and taking financial advantage of him.
"Pamela said something that never left me. She said, 'A lot of people pretended to be close to Jim, but I was the only one who had the nerve to stand up to him.' She loved him but she was not willing to be abused. Inevitably he went back to her because he knew she was willing to lose him." - Bill Siddons, The Doors' manager "Pam was a 'known quantity'. He knew that she cared about Jimbo, the person." - Tony Funches, Jim Morrison's friend and bodyguard "...She breathes in me..." - Jim Morrison, "She Dances in a Ring of Fire", a poem he wrote for Pamela Courson-Morrison "At the age of 19 she came to Hollywood to find herself, instead she found Jim." - John Densmore "It's a tragedy that Pam died. But Jim and Pam are going to go down in the history books as great lovers and people are going to write plays about them." - Ray Manzarek "There are no words to describe my relationship, but let's just say it went a little something like this: No matter what we did to each other, we always found our way back and now our love is stronger than ever." - Jim Morrison on his relationship and love for Pamela Courson-Morrison
The love of Jim's life was mary werbelow,he wrote the end about her and the crystal ship, she left him broke his heart went to india therefore the lyrics away away In india
To all of you who "think" you know every detail about Jim, you, nor I, surely dont. It's well documented Jim and Pam were on and off their entire relationship, with both having other flings throughout. The fact that Jim was involved with this Patricia, and apparently participated in a ritual signifying marriage, is significant and legitimate. I saw pics of this Patricia when she was young, very good looking as well. So, all of you, most of whom werent even alive 50 years ago, dont really know what happened. Only Jim, Pam, and Patricia do....
So convenient for her that Pam died a few years after Jim and so no one could refute her version. She dyed her hair red and added Morrison to her last name after both of them had died.
Oh yea Pam was his true lizzard queen and thats a fact and you know if he was trully in love with patricia it would have been her with him in paris by his side when he died just saying
Pamela was his woman....he left everything to her....she was incredibly beautiful and fairytale like, not this on off (albeit intelligent) dame....you really think Jim would love you? cop on! Have you seen pics of Pam????
In Ray Manzarek's biography he said Jim cheated on his steady girlfriend Pam Courson all the time. Pam was clearly Jim's #1, but Jim definitely had others...lots and lots of others.
....strange how you were "married" to Jim. All video clips and footage, as well as stories from his friends, all show Pamela Courson-to the very end. They both cheated but always were back together after.
She was and still is a stalker ! These writers are creepy she is in fantasy land and never came back! She likely bought her own necklace got it engraved and wrote that poetry to herself ! She was a writer for rock mag he had to get good reviews so he sacrificed himself for a night or two she turned it into a lifetime LOL she took advantage of a drunk
So, was she a true redhead,or did it come out of a bottle?..I am betting, she was so obsessed with Pam and Jim's true love, that couldn't take it and kept her hair red:: The natural color of Pam's hair.. Just sayn
She is a joke. Jim never took that ceremony serious. Haha. He wasn’t involved with any planning of that ridiculous ritual either. Pam was his heart. Jim was always up for anything adventurous and/or weird. But that fake marriage? Nope.
Wow I find the comment here depressing. All about 'crazy' Pamela, groupies and what OTHER Rock stars did. Sure Patricia has her delusions as to her relationship to Jim, but she is also very intelligent unlike some of the other women and has some very good INSIGHTFUL comments about Jim the quiet intelligent man, his poetry, the Beatles, The Dead, Airplane and Dylan etc. It is the same shit with Yoko Ono blamed for the Beatles split up! (WRONG AGAIN,, the split up started with George because the other Beatles refuted Georges BS faith in the pervert guru the Maharishi who WAS molesting women and 'Sexy Sadie' recorded without George taking the piss which he deeply resented. Which in the end destroyed George and Johns relationship forever and besides they all wanted out by the end). Jim Morrison and the Doors are my favorite band but Jim did have drinking problems, though Patricia is very gracious about him, the court case and the superiority of his songs (the very best) to his poems (some great some less so). As usual fandom is deaf to insightful commentary. John Densmore is also very insightful and realistic while 'Cosmic Ray' loves to do his own romantic 'story telling' take which is more him than Jim. Densmore despite his opinions about her as Jim's girl friend has the same take on Jim the man, his intelligence, his kindness, his creative genius and boozing destructive pain and demons without the media and Oliver Stones and Rays' romantic 'Rock Star' BS rhapsodies. John never sold out like Ray and Robbie did, staying true to Jim's uncompromising spiritual morality!
But he made his life to one, he named only one as his soulmate, he left he entire state to just one person. She doesn't need defending. the facts speak for themselves.
"time she took" MY DUDE she would pay to be allowed to talk and talk about Jim. And if she's talking about Jim, she's lying. She stalked Jim and totally creeped him out. She's profited off HIS name, going as far as to attach his name to her own which is so far from being okay. If the genders were swapped no one would excuse her predatory delusions. But they aren't, so she's given a platform to re-victimize him over and over and over. And he's not even here to defend himself.
Jerry Hopkins, who first introduced Kennealy to the public by including her as one Jim Morrison's groupies in “No One Here Gets Out Alive”: “Patricia happily agreed to play the part of the priestess who performed the handfasting. But when she arrived on the set to marry Val Kilmer to Kathleen Quinlan (who played the Kennealy part), she was given only the pages of her scene. When Stone warned her, 'I have you doing things in the script you didn't do,' she replied, 'That's okay, so long as they are things I wouldn't do.' She came to regret that..." Wow, straight from the horse’s mouth (horse’s ass?). The who woman who shrieks and screams threats and abuse at people, living or dead, grieving friends and family be damned, if they so much as express the tiniest amount of doubt or disbelief at her constantly changing, contradictory, self-serving statements happily went along with her sacred…”wedding day”…being completely misrepresented. Bet she thought the false version would help sell her…”memoirs”…. Didn’t work. No “minister” or “witnesses” to her “ceremony” have EVER been identified, even her Wikipedia page takes care to say, “according to her” and “citation needed” where her “marriage” claims are concerned SatireKnight: “Also, I kinda love the descriptions of the letters he gave her, with about eight-to-ten words per page, and only a few of those pages. It doesn't exactly make their correspondence sound like the deep, insightful meeting of souls she tries to pass it off as. I bet she wishes she had never told him [Jerry Hopkins] that.” Link: satireknight.blogspot.com/2016/03/patricia-kennealy-morrison-faq-9.html
Wow, I didn't know people went red as they aged. (See 04:26) Where are the poems she says he gave her? The letters? Anyone can inscribe anything on a locket. Duh. What happened to her 20 karat emerald ring?
I had to turn the volume of her irritating, bragging talking way down, in order to read the comments here, of which many are way more interesting! Yet somehow it kept me till the end!
Jessica Martin bullshit he cheated on her again and again and again Why Not.. he was the most beautiful man on the Planet and Pam fucked around too there exists noch "lizard Queen"!!!.. just the lizard king J.M.
Jessica Martin disagree. Pam was using Jim for his money and stardom and was hooked on heroin and whoring around. She had Him wrapped around her finger and ruined his image and character. She's called the cops on him and was convinced that Jim owed her something
I have a copy of Jim's will (its on the internet).. He listed Pam, and if anything happened within 3 months, it would ALL go to his brother and sister, Andy and Anne Morrison (which warmed my heart). Maybe Jim never saw his parents again after 1964, but he regularly saw his siblings. There's one nice photo where Anne stayed with Jim and Pam, and brough Jim's new nephew (with Pam holding him). Siblings from military families stick together, even if they are estranged from their families.
I bet half of you people watching this video right now don't even know that she was in the movie she played as they witch priest during the wedding scene in the movie
When he sent you that telegram saying, "Thanks for the pat on the back.", did you ever think that he was being SARCASTIC? That's the response I would've given anyway. Jim was known for being sarcastic. Read Ray Manzarek's book called Light My Fire & you'll see what I mean. "If my poetry aims to achieve anything, it's to deliver people from the limited ways in which they see and feel."--Jim Morrison
It may have been an innocent note. Reading about how Kennealy harassed Morrison and Courson you get the feeling that at first he tried to let her down easy before adopting the "Fuck off....now!!" attitude. If Jim Morrison accidentally left his grocery list and Kennealy found it she would be waving THAT around as evidence of Jim Morrison being madly in love with her. "See?? He was going make a romantic dinner for the two of us! That just proves that we were soul mates!" Shameless, aggressive, entitled pathological liar and not very bright at the same time. Not a good combination.
@@AM-wt8qi Common-law marriage was not established in the 60's. In that era, living together as a couple was not acceptable and over the ignorance of folks, they saw it as 'a sin'. Sorry, dear. I've been a hippie since the early 60s.
Maybe she should be looked at as the one who killed him. She drove him to Pam. Can you imagine this pain the ass trying to tell Jim how to act, how to write, how to sing, how to stand, how to... on and on and on... Just listen to her tell about how she told him this and that. No way he'd have stood for that crap. Too many interviews exist where Pam is in the background, interjecting a little this and that and Jim always either agreed or set her straight. And they had a lot of respect for each other. This clown wouldn't have let up. She is too opinionated and out to save the world. With this woman he would have had to tape her mouth shut or just leave. So they had their pagan ritual she calls their wedding. It was theater to Jim. He was just an actor out on loan for a gig and she's made a career of talking about it. His poetry was too deep for her so she had to work too hard to understand it, so it must not have been good? What a maroon! And she's supposed to have been a serious journalist. Or pretends to still be one. No wonder he drank so much and spent so much time crawling pups on Sunset. Anything to ditch this boring bitch!
@Jeremy Stillwell actually. the dealers girlfriend have talked about the drugs being supplied to him in a bar in a bathroom is what took him out. the drugs where too strong. he was smuggled home to his hotel room. I believe he was put in the bathtub as a way to try to revive him. since, the dealers girlfriend is the last living person that did know what happened, I guess I must be true. I believe there are other versions to cover for the drug dealer ect
This woman would have to be well into her 60's so hasn't aged that badly. Half her luck if she experienced some moments with Jim and has lived on to tell the tale, let her brag, I bet we all would, given the chance.
Being with a handsome, rock star, was many a young girls, dream. It may not have meant a thing, to Jim, however, it did to, Patricia. I’m older now and I know what it’s like to yearn for those good old days and what may or may not have been. I feel sorry for her.
I don't understand the hate toward this woman. She's intelligent, well-spoken and everything she said is consistent. Morrison just couldn't leave Pam even though their relationship was tumultuous as best. Pam herself was a junkie who took liberties with Jim's fame and money. A good case could be made that Pam gave Jim the heroin which killed him. He went to Paris to turn his life around but being with Pam and her friends, it just wasn't panning out. Then, of course, he dies there.
Pam also kept her lover Count Breteuil on the side, even in Paris just before Jim died. She looked like an angel but was wild and Jim couldnt hold on to her. It was a toxic love triangle
She is taping into everything that was in the documentary, who else is wondering where the interviewer is at?!! Also, she has no real personal items from her "so called time with Morrison".... Also if she was his girl for real she would have loved all his poetry. I call BS on you sweety! Get a real life honey!!!! I hope you read our comments!!
She's a jerk. In what way does a witch ceremony make you someone's widow? And who is she to talk about someone else's alcoholism and drug abuse when she herself was a notorious drunk? She's previously told tons of stories about her own drunkenness and now she's acting like she never said it.
She lies so much the band came out and said she is a joke . They where not married. She went to court and changed her name they did some ceremony that the band said he called a game nothing serious to him and DEF not legal in a court of law. He loved Pam. Pam was the love of Jim's life this chick needs to go get bent.
7th July 1971. Fifty years ago today Jim buried in the Perelachaise. Five attended the burial. No ceremony. No priest. Over in a few minutes. Mystery and then the mystique of the rock god began
Kennealy was a very, very minor player in Jim's life. With all it's ups & downs, and there were plenty, it was Pamela Courson who was & has been acknowledged by almost everyone, to have been Jim's long time g.f. Not Patricia. She was merely a some time thing (and she was one among MANY other girls Jim bedded) but like so many of these girls who weaved in & out of Jim's life, she was less important to him, than he was to her. To this day she doesn't seem to realize that. In all the bios of Morrison she barely figures at all.
Honestly both women were bad for him. People hate Patricia for obvious reasons but at least she didn’t seem to use heroine like Pam did. I think the relationship between Jim and Pam was just as toxic. So I don’t prefer one over the other. Also her heroine use could have very well caused his death if anyone believes that particular story about how he died. At least Patricia didn’t cause his death.
She is living in some deluded dream. Yes, she was a part of his story but not in the way she thinks - it was a just a bit part!! Pamela C was his true love
True..he didn't take any of this black arts demonic ceremony seriously...and I don't know ..im assuming jim didn't dable in the black arts as well.....except for that ceremony.....i am not judging her at all nor is there any hate or whatever...jim made these decisions albeit under the influence of drugs...as a massive jim morrison and doors fan what happened, happened...no way does it take away from him what an iconic legend he was...an unde rated genius..a spiritual sharmanistic new age priest ..combined with his sensitive. Intelligent..and irresistible almost charming volatile antics...was the tortured soul of a rock poet who just wanted to be jim morrison
She's likable. They call her nuts but look who lived a full life with self sufficiency and who blew their minds out at 27....Pam and Jim was a toxic relationship, toxic relationship never change.
I wanna like her and I wanna believe her I really do... but I don’t! I personally think she’s full of fanciful stories when it comes to her and Jim as lovers. I mean yeah they probably shared a night or 2 and got obsessive / attached. That’s the feeling I get from her, especially after Pam passed, Patricia said some enviously awful things about her. I’ve always called bs on these tales. She says she has proof, not out of my own limitations but I’d like to see this proof. Has anyone? I also don’t agree with her comment critique of his poetry. I guess that’s why I, and obviously Jim, favoured his cosmic mate. He saw himself as a poet first before anything and Pam saw that tortured artistic genius in him. His poetry is good!
So many women write their testaments, of what they thought was happening, with Jim. These women were rewarded with the physical Jim, but not the transcendent Jim. Pamela alone, was afforded that privilege (Mary W., maybe being the exception).
She wasn't wrong. Most of her readers were probably Doors fans.
Dead Meat 🍖 🤣
@@Lola-AreaCode212 At least Cyrinda's bitterness was hard earned and based in reality and her own lived experiences; whereas Patricia Kennealy has wrapped her entire identity up in a fantasy of someone else's life. She's holding onto something she never had and has spent nearly 50 years of her life trying to rewrite. That's a whole different kind of sad.
Jim seem to not take a lot of things seriously except music and alcohol
I agree
Pam was the true love ❤️ of Jim’s life.
Kennedy was a groupie
Did you know Jim Morrison or something
@@chloekit4861 I swear,
She was a nut bag grifter
I've never liked her much. She's very intelligent and she's a good writer, but she milked a very brief relationship for all it was worth, and made a lot more of it than what it was, and she never got over her catty jealousy of Pamela Courson, to whom he was genuinely committed. Their marriage was not legal, and he abandoned her, yet she doesn't seem to have moved on from it. It's clear that she was a lot more in love with him than he was with her. In truth she was a very small part of his life. They never lived together, he didn't leave her anything in his will, his friends and bandmates never mention her, and you can tell in the wedding photo that he was VERY fucked up.
moonlily1 Pretty much.
There is a Wedding photo???
She needs to get over it. It was a fling and a thing.
It’s interesting because Jim may have loved her a lot but Pam more so who really knows
@@rickebrite5409 Well, only Jim would know for sure and he's not here. But what we do know is that he lived and died with Pam, dedicated his books to Pam, and left his entire estate to Pam. He didn't dedicate or bequeath anything to Patricia.
Shes dead,Jim's been free of this stalker liar since 1971,I hope she cant stalk him on the other side.
Jim obviously didn't take this pagan ceremonial marriage seriously because he didn't stay with her, he probably treated it as a strange game.
EXTREMELY true!!!!!
All anyone has to do is search "SatireKnight Patricia Kennealy". They have archived all of her ugly online rants and have expertly called her out on all of her self-serving lies. (You may want to avoid, "An Open Letter to Jim's Fans", a truly sickening, hateful, nasty rant.)
If you are on Pinterest you can check out the "Patricia Kennealy, Strange Days Indeed" board.
I think SatireKnight really nailed it on the head regarding Kennealy versus Erwin and the article Erwin wrote:
"[Kennealy] is a woman who wrote a rambling, several-pages-long screed on her website about a person who wrote a book about Jim and Pamela, merely because she [Kennealy] was outraged at the book's existence.
Search "SatireKnight Stuff Patricia Kennealy Wants Forgotten" for the full article.
Parasite.. He must have been totally tripping..

Mary Werbelow was his true love from good ole Clearwater, FL
im a 16 year old in 2022, so im pretty far from ever knowing her but here is my interpretation of this (if anyone ever sees this). her trying to prove their love with material items and 'marriage' makes me doubt it even more. jim and pam never married, yet their love was undeniable. it seems like patricia was latching onto anything for validation which is sad because she probably just wanted to be loved. but its hard to feel much sympathy when she used jims name for personal benefit, especially in such a passive aggressive way. at 10:06 dismissing his poetry because she couldn't understand it is pretty low, everyone's allowed opinions but saying so bitterly art "has" to be a certain thing to be good, tells me all i need to know. but hey what do i know... LOL
her story does not add up..
@@YerpDerp17 yes this definitely makes sense too! looking back i wouldve left out the part about jim and pams love being undeniable as its sounds pretty close-minded but what i meant was from references like close friends and family of jim, his and pams connection had more proof and backing up behind it, not that we'll ever know tho only jim and pam will know the truth.
yes for sure you can not understand your partners interests and still be in love, but it comes down to how you go about it, theres a difference between not understanding and straight up trashing it.
her listing how he failed to meet the standards for art (who is she to decide a universal rule for art, sure she can have an opinion but she stated this is as it were fact) at 10:29 in what i see as a snarky demeanor isnt really how you expect someone to talk about the supposed love of their life especially once theyve passed. also considering his entire existence revolved around his poetry, it was a lifelong passion and lifestyle not just an interest. however her seeming snarky now doesnt disprove whatever happened at the time. maybe her and jim were quite harsh or honest with eachother and thats why she seems passive agressive when talking idk maybe i am reading too much into it
of course as you implied this is purely from what ive seen online, in reality i dont know her and despite being a fan i dont know jim but this is just my intepretation of her from how shes portrayed herself to the public. but as you said relationships, especially in this case with drugs etc involved are too complicated for us to decipher whats true and whats not. at the end of the day a relationship from the 60s isnt on my priorities list lol im just a mega fan of the doors so do deep dives quite a lot!
thanks for your reply!

“I think that if there is one central - almost universal - motivating factor, it is the avoidance of shame,” Forman told Medical Daily. Sometimes that shame involves deficiency in certain skills, like balancing a check book or reading a partner’s emotions. So, to compensate for our inadequacies, we may conceal the truth out of a desire to self-protect.
But lying has its obvious dark sides. Easy fibs may be harmless at first, but they can have an accumulating effect that gets us too comfortable with dishonesty, to the point where we sacrifice others’ well-being for our own gain.

Agree that her ugly necklace is fake just like her relationship allegations. Nothing about the tacky thing speaks 1960s that I can see; but it is big enough to hold the inordinately long, corny & fraudulent inscription she claims Morrison wrote for her.
I really think shes sick.

"Previously unknown" or "previously unbelieved?" I have watched her change her account since 1988 and I don't think "delusional" is an exaggeration.

@@sinthia667 well what the fuck are you doing here? 😂
I agree
Totally she's a sycophant
I don’t blame a person like Patricia for feeling the way she does about Jim, he of course captivated her, so I don’t blame her. Love can make us crazy. Besides, we weren’t present during their private conversations. A man like Jim, shouldn’t of played with peoples hearts, he should of been more self -aware of his power. I don’t know the guy, but we have seen and read this type of love triangle before.
Mary werbelow is the one!
as a big Doors fan, I cannot help but feel sorry for these women who were associated with him during this era.

RIP Patricia Kennealy...passed away July 21 2021 from heart disease complications.
Thank you. The most reasonable comment I have read so far.
Patricia, You’re not the redhead in his songs and poems, you had brown hair back then, you just showed that in footage. Get over it.
Inevitably he went back to her because he knew she was willing to lose him." - Bill Siddons, The Doors' manager
"Pam was a 'known quantity'. He knew that she cared about Jimbo, the person." - Tony Funches, Jim Morrison's friend and bodyguard
"...She breathes in me..." - Jim Morrison, "She Dances in a Ring of Fire", a poem he wrote for Pamela Courson-Morrison
"At the age of 19 she came to Hollywood to find herself, instead she found Jim." - John Densmore
"It's a tragedy that Pam died. But Jim and Pam are going to go down in the history books as great lovers and people are going to write plays about them." - Ray Manzarek
"There are no words to describe my relationship, but let's just say it went a little something like this: No matter what we did to each other, we always found our way back and now our love is stronger than ever." - Jim Morrison on his relationship and love for Pamela Courson-Morrison
Ray of the doors said they were like Romeo and Juliet .
The love of Jim's life was mary werbelow,he wrote the end about her and the crystal ship, she left him broke his heart went to india therefore the lyrics away away In india
When Jim lost Mary.... That's when he started the downard spiral..... It took a few years but his broken heart caught up with Jim.
I think Pam was his soulmate.
Lmao! Jim Morrison literally hated marriage and never approved of such a life trap. Patricia only tried to trap him and he abandoned her.
Jim would have never ‘’married’ anyone let’s be real.
I agree...I think she made sure he was high as a kite when it happened
@@laurieb.9555 I think you're right, Laurie.
Jim had only one love.... alcohol 🎉
@@pleun315 it's a demon lover...
So convenient for her that Pam died a few years after Jim and so no one could refute her version. She dyed her hair red and added Morrison to her last name after both of them had died.
She is milking Jim as a cash cow. It just pretentiously using his last name because of a non legal wedding or whatever.
you are not is widow Pam was the love of his life and not the Queen Lizard....
Oh yea Pam was his true lizzard queen and thats a fact and you know if he was trully in love with patricia it would have been her with him in paris by his side when he died just saying
If she was his wife then why did pam get all his money ect?,I think she chased him and is extremely exaggerating
Nico chased him
Pamela was his woman....he left everything to her....she was incredibly beautiful and fairytale like, not this on off (albeit intelligent) dame....you really think Jim would love you? cop on! Have you seen pics of Pam????
This woman is sick and delusional
She gave me a lot of grief once on Myspace because I was in a Doors tribute at the time!
We none of us know, we none of us there.... but she does have that blank look of the truly deluded...

ALL SONGS WRITTEN FOR MARY WERBELOW ONLY, IT WAS SAID.
Yeah but Pam covered up his death to protect the dealer! She was his downfall!

Pamela Courson was his “real woman”, his soul mate, his “cosmic companion”! Pffff, she dyed her hair like Pamela.....
So, was she a true redhead,or did it come out of a bottle?..I am betting, she was so obsessed with Pam and Jim's true love, that couldn't take it and kept her hair red:: The natural color of Pam's hair..
Just sayn
She's nuts!🤪 Jim says "Patricia who?"
She is a joke. Jim never took that ceremony serious. Haha. He wasn’t involved with any planning of that ridiculous ritual either. Pam was his heart. Jim was always up for anything adventurous and/or weird. But that fake marriage? Nope.
what about the thanksgiving scene in o. stones film shows an argument between these two women?
When she said Whatever about his poetry , that's the same thing Jim said about her
@Cecy Ayala source?

Don't lie.
I think Jim was a lover and no one will understand that if they keep sticking up for Pam. He loved all of them.
But he made his life to one, he named only one as his soulmate, he left he entire state to just one person. She doesn't need defending. the facts speak for themselves.
I appreciate that she took the time to share these amazing details. Regardless of anyone thinks.
I appreciate that she took the time to share this wild imaginings - Get real. You would n't know the truth if it fell on you.
I enjoyed it
Jerry Hopkins, who first introduced Kennealy to the public by including her as one Jim Morrison's groupies in “No One Here Gets Out Alive”: “Patricia happily agreed to play the part of the priestess who performed the handfasting. But when she arrived on the set to marry Val Kilmer to Kathleen Quinlan (who played the Kennealy part), she was given only the pages of her scene. When Stone warned her, 'I have you doing things in the
script you didn't do,' she replied, 'That's okay, so long as they are things I
wouldn't do.' She came to regret that..."
Wow, straight from the horse’s mouth (horse’s ass?).
No “minister” or “witnesses” to her “ceremony” have EVER been identified, even her Wikipedia page takes care to say, “according to her” and “citation needed” where her “marriage” claims are concerned
SatireKnight: “Also, I kinda love the descriptions of the letters he gave her, with about eight-to-ten words per page, and only a few of those pages. It doesn't exactly make their
correspondence sound like the deep, insightful meeting of souls she tries to
pass it off as. I bet she wishes she had never told him [Jerry Hopkins] that.”

Jim Morrison wasn't married.
Her ego is almost as big as those glasses.
oh please dream on crazy lady. his true and only love was pamela courson.
You mean the woman who killed him with her smack in Paris?
The only thing crazy is that you and your stupidity thinks it understands something.
@Peta Bulmer
Jim didn't die from smack, dumbass. It was heart failure due to excessive Alcohol.
Siblings from military families stick together, even if they are estranged from their families.
wow, very interesting, thx (saw them 2x in Cali 1967,68)
In fact nearly all the rock stars of that time had military parents, actually an unusual amount, and nearly all had FBI files on them
I bet half of you people watching this video right now don't even know that she was in the movie she played as they witch priest during the wedding scene in the movie
@Treble Clef Out of respect for Jim, correct your description. Pamela Courson-Morrison was his common law wife and only widow.
Common-law was not acknowledged in the 60s.
@@kimsullivan5576 common laws were the first laws ever made

I believe there are other versions to cover for the drug dealer ect

@Benjamin Vieira ah. ok I forgot the names, i just remember the story told
This woman would have to be well into her 60's so hasn't aged that badly. Half her luck if she experienced some moments with Jim and has lived on to tell the tale, let her brag, I bet we all would, given the chance.
Pamela wouldn't have looked any better at this age. Most likely worse as decades of heroin use would have ruined her looks
It was a toxic love triangle
so show us copies of letters he wrote to you addressed mrs morrison,,, but you have passed onn,, so its just your recorded words,,, hmmmmm.
What a looker! Hot damn!
Ever hear of contacts?
Here is an in depth look at a delusional stalker who lived in La La land!
Lizard queen my ass.. if anyone is that it was PAMELA
If i had a fling with jim morrison id be obsessed too😘😎😁
Yeah excactly. If I slept wih him even once I'd probably shout it from the roof tops 😆😆😄
So many women write their testaments, of what they thought was happening, with Jim. These women were rewarded with the physical Jim, but not the transcendent Jim. Pamela alone, was afforded that privilege (Mary W., maybe being the exception).
Jim was probably high when he "married" her...he left her out of his will, right?
