      He was also an A student in both literature and math. I interviewed the teachers a decade later. His high school teachers really liked him. But he was different. Yes, the sold most of that era to us, I hear ya! Mr.Morrison's talent remains genuine. The same can be said for Hendrix and Santana. Cheers.

      He was an A student in both literature and math, I interviewed his teachers a decade later. They were good neighbors. Also, Mr. Morrison's talent was genuine as was his stage presence. He also knew of the history of greek theatre and many other things that well read and well educated scholars know. The music stands the test of time as does the work of Hendrix and Santana. But yes much was sold to us. And the Admiral never really understood his son but his sister has edited the recent book. The 60 minutes segment is recent and interviews her it is on YOU TUBE. Cheers. and Rock on!

    The voice is AI. I don't recall the interviews where Jim discussed swarm theory. I'd like to see the original interview being referenced. I think this is cultural appropriation.

    • @JMacque
      @JMacque 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I agree. Swarm Theory wasn't introduced until 1989. From Wiki (of all places, lol):
      Swarm intelligence (SI) is the collective behavior of decentralized, self-organized systems, natural or artificial. The concept is employed in work on artificial intelligence. The expression was introduced by Gerardo Beni and Jing Wang in 1989, in the context of cellular robotic systems.

      Luckily, they DON'T all die young! Creative people don't need the MYTH that "they need substance abuse" to do what they do. I've really admired Jim Morrison's music (check out my techno with spoken word!) but used the other parts of his life as a counter-example - what NOT to do, where you don't want to end up. He could have done so much more ALIVE!

      Many old utilities, insane asylums, schools, prisons, courthouses, city halls and other stone buildings, especially cathedral types have had their domes and spires torn off, and were made rectangular for repurposed uses, some were preserved. I wonder how all that was done with horse and wagons?

    5 to 1, 1 to 5, nobody gets out of here alive...they've got the guns but we've got the numbers...Yeah, Jim saw the dark underbelly of America that all see now, way ahead of his time. Think the tile of his book, 'The Overlords & the New People' - very prophetic. So he checked out early.

    Don’t forget who his father was. There’s a very good argument that Jim was a tool of the man.

    • @macnchessplz
      @macnchessplz หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Anything is possible but I don’t believe JM was a tool of the man.
      JM distanced himself from that upbringing.There seemed to be real resentments on Jim’s part.
      He left all to Pam (basically,his wife) .Disassociating himself from his Father and his family,in general.
      Jim was super intelligent but also bi polar (and an addict).
      But one thing he never reneged on: his distance from his Father and his family (to his grave).

      What in this interview, specifically, (or elsewhere) leads you to believe that? of what use to "the man" would Jim's statements be? You have to separate vague suspicions from facts, conspiracy-theory thinking can be it's own endless delusion.
