I thank God for Ramsey Solutions and for the information and entertainment that ya'll provide. You two are my favorite people on the shows. This episode is a great example of why you guys are so good at what you do (including the producers, editors, and other folks behind the scenes). Hilarious, informative and able to make the information that you talk about all the time interesting so that it can really get soaked into those of us that so desperately need it. Thank you!!
Seems like they scaled their skills and probably created businesses out of them where they figured out optimizing how much they have to pay in taxes. But honestly the fact that they got there doesn’t change the fact that’s not where they started and they figured out a way to use what they have skill wise to make as much extra money as possible
Music lessons can easily be $50 per half hour lesson, depends on the city of course. So if she was able to find enough students, and her husband did too, that income is very believable.

The US economy cannot survive without continuous credit and debt creation. The FED will print more money and the average American will go just that much further in debt. Meanwhile, foreigners lust for the greenback. Their economies are in worse condition than the US... if that's possible. Someone is going to be left holding the bag...
Gold might crash in a liquidity crunch, but many precious metal holders are prepared for this and unlikely to be forced sellers. The paper market would tank and possibly collapse. Hearing from an experienced investor who has overcome adversity is motivating. It can be tough when your portfolio turns red, but if you've invested in strong companies, stick to your goals and continue growing them
It's often true that investors underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

My husband and I have been working at being debt free for a few years now and we have decided to go intense on getting our house paid off!! We are completely living off of my income, which is significantly lower than my husband's. We will be done by August 2024! 2024 is the year of total freedom for us!
Honestly, Jade's story is so inspirational because I can see myself in her old money habits and lifestyle! To see that she "made it" and paid it off gives me hope that I can do too!! 🎉
I started baby steps January 2023! I sold my $57,000 Jeep and bought a beater car. Unfortunately, the car was a lemon and ended up costing me a lot in repairs but I can now keep it for the next 5 to 10 years with the new engine I had to replace! I still have no car payments nor credit cards! I am going to tackle my student loan debt and in 5 years, I’ll be on that debt free scream stage!!!!❤
Another awesome video! So happy for you Jade and your husband paying off all your debt! My husband and I paid two houses off early. We paid off our current home in less than three years! Our total debt is $5,700 and then we'll be debt free! We're millionaires as well and will be retiring in the next couple of years. We're proud of how hard we have worked and are looking forward to retirement. Even with inflation and recessions, the American dream is out there for those who work hard and use their money wisely.
Finally done with debt minus my house this week. Now working emergency fund in my high yield saving account and investing. The stress relief is amazing. Next year I will be able to work on paying off my house and saving for my kids future college expenses.
I graduated from college four months ago and paid off 12k out of 27k of student loans in the last 3 months. My goal is to have them paid off in another 5 months or less.
Unless you are living at home and getting everything provided to you, it is unlikely most people would be able to take advantage of that kind of privilege.
Saying "NEVER file bankruptcy" is potentially just as damaging as saying "Bankruptcy should be your first step to being debt free". There are circumstances where bankruptcy is your best option. You need to do some real soul searching and financial reviews first, but never say never. I was at a point in my life where I was making $15/hr and I had a wage garnishment of 25% of my pay. Bankruptcy saved my life. Yes, that is extreme. But Bankruptcy is for extreme situations. "NEVER file bankruptcy" is also extreme.
George is so brilliant with how this is organized and so fun. Love Jade too. So glad I got a chance to hear her story and I LOVE GEORGES BOOK!! Top 10 one of my fav books
my goal this year was to pay off my $12k in credit card debt, only $2900 left and that’ll be paid off by end of November! my goals for 2024 are to have a 6 month emergency fund and start contributing to retirement.
Life has humbled me in the Hardest way in 2022. Last september i reached BS3 for the first time in my life although i was budgeting since 2017. I bragged about it, felt like the world was at my feet. Then i got fired 2 months later that same November (lost the yearly benefit + 1month worth of overtime ), paying for most of a medical bills for a surgery, 1 month without pay and a car accident. Then got a better paying job, had to moove and furnishing the entire place! So my 2024 target is to go hit BS3 again in hopes to reach BS3b, one day 😅
My goal for 2024 is to be debt free, to comfortably start our family. And have a stress free maternity leave. We are watching all the way from the UK. Xx

Your ideas helped my wife and i pay off a huge debt of $105,000 in only a few months. Our current objective is to continue stay off any type of debt and relocate to another state to be closer to our parents and to have a reduced cost of living. Saving is presently being used to build our emergency fund. We now give every purchase careful consideration. We have also begun saving for retirement and would really appreciate it if you could do a video on how to handle large sums of money and retire happily with, say, over a million dollars. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
@albatkobe I totally agree, I'm 60 and my wife is 56, we just retired with about 1.9 million outside retirement funds, no debt and very small $$$ in retirement funds compared to the balance of portfolio over the past 3 years till date. tbh, the role of a licensed investment brokers can only be overlooked, not denied. Just do your research to find a reputable one.
@georgeh My husband and I have been thinking of going this route of using a licensed advisor. We're not just sure which broker or firm to work with. Could you recommend yours?
@marvishanorris Do you know who "HEATHER LEE LARIONI" is? She frequently appears on CNBC. I got to know her through my wife. It's my wife that has her contact, but you could further investigate her credentials and contact her yourself. She's well-grounded and known, shouldn't be a hassle finding her page.
@georgeh Just copied and pasted Heather Lee Larioni on my browser and her page popped up immediately. I think I may have seen this name in some reviews, but I'm not sure. We'll keep an eye on her. thank you for saving us hours of researching.
2024 is going to be a big year for us! Our first large chunk will be paid off in November (only took 6 months to pay it off once we got serious!) then the majority of our debt will be tackled in the coming year. Looking at the end of 2024/Early 2025 to be done. I love watching you guys and hearing success stories! I don’t have an IG. But Good Luck to whoever wins! ❤️
Yes, hard work pays off and it takes tons of hard work to pay off debt. BUT, making $200,000 a year is not attainable for a lot of couples. I think that part of the situation should have been talked about more!!!
True true... But most couples also don't have $400k in non-mortgage loans. But getting an almost 100k income between two incomes and one person with side hustles (and the other at home for the kiddos) is very possible. Depends on the region of course, but given $40k each and then a 10k side hustle l, you can do it.
This show is awesome. I stumbled up on it and subscribed before the end of the episode. I don’t think I’ve ever subscribed to a channel that fast. Great work George and team!
Yea he has a music degree and knows people with music degrees get into the worse student lines with no return in investment (return in investment meaning how much you get paid from your job after graduating). That’s why he hates degrees that you can’t even get a good job for.
I've been diligently working, saving, and investing toward financial independence and early retirement, but the economy since the pandemic has eaten up the majority of my $3 million portfolio. I want to know: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets, or do I look into alternative sectors?
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
@MarcumFamilyGaming We just started our journey to being debt free. We are a household of 8 with 2 children in college. We’re on BS2. This is our 2nd month of budgeting so still figuring it out 😅. Goals in 2024 are to stay under budget and get that snowball rolling. Thanks you Jade and George for your examples and hard work!
The problem is bankruptcy doesn't change behavior. Whatever got you into financial doo-doo will still be there after your debts are discharged and will probably happen again.
you're absolutely correct.. I have a friend who just filed bankruptcy for the second time but keep booking trips putting herself in these bad situations
Batch cook and freeze pasta dish bases like homemade hamburger helper, beef stroganoff. I add a bunch of different veggies as I'm cooking it so when we go to eat I'm just making pasta(pasta gets a weird texture after freezing for us, i do everything i can to not freeze pasta). I also stopped naming lasagna the traditional way to freeze and now i just pre make the meat filling and freeze it. All im making day of is pasta(sheets) and the ricotta cheese and i dont do the layers anymore, just mixing the pasta with meat, then doing dollups of the cheese mix, bake and eat.
This interview was enlightening. It really revealed a lot about Jade and now she makes more sense to me on the Ramsey Show. One can tell she is incredibly talented and able to pick things up quickly. I felt that Jade could have been hocking Tupperware just as much as the Ramsey principles at first. Now, she seems to have really settled in well. I have been enjoying her on the Ramsey Show much more as time goes by as she is finding her "delivery style" on the show. Great interview, George. Kamel.

I'm working on getting back on track, after successfully getting out of debt, due to spending everything after a bipolar episode. It sucks, but I've done it before and I know I can do it again, so I'll get there, I just have to not beat myself up and remember to budget every time. 2024 is the year that I will budget daily and keep on track for the entire year. Not only do I plan on getting out of debt but I also plan on starting to build a good savings as well. I'm so excited to get back to my cash envelopes!

Anyone can do it. I put every penny toward my car for only about 6-7 months before I paid it off.
If you put every penny into your car payment, then that sounds like you didn't pay rent, bills, for groceries?
@@Heyu7her3I’m sure they budgeted for their basic necessities. Their comment isn’t supposed to be taken in literal terms. It’s another way of them saying they were intensely paying off debt.
You got a great bf! You go girl!
Thank you!!
Love the word game! And Jade's story is so inspiring. How did her and her husband eventually make over $250,000 a year??? That is a lot!
That's the part that actually matters...
Seems like they scaled their skills and probably created businesses out of them where they figured out optimizing how much they have to pay in taxes.
But honestly the fact that they got there doesn’t change the fact that’s not where they started and they figured out a way to use what they have skill wise to make as much extra money as possible
@@Heyu7her3They have talked about this numerous times. Sam sold Jordans & ALL of her side hustles combined plus saving every penny
Music lessons can easily be $50 per half hour lesson, depends on the city of course. So if she was able to find enough students, and her husband did too, that income is very believable.
Great content George , keep up the great stuff! My wife and I are almost finished with step 6 at 24!
Impressive.... congratulations for setting a great example!
Awesome show you two!! I was so sad because my whole check is going to pay off a debt I owe! Thank you both for lifting my spirits! This to shall past. ❤❤❤❤
Love Jade! She is so smart, real and inspirational
I’m 25 and I’m 9 months away from paying off $52,000 in student loans in 18 months. Halfway there and it’s still ridiculously hard sticking to the plan I made in 2023, but I’m still right on track & I see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks for the continued motivation, George
I like the phrase, "financial hygiene."
I just graduated PT school and my goal for 2024 is to ANNIHILATE my student loan debt. I think I can feasible do it in 4 years or less. 200k. so a quarter of the way would be huge
Wow! Assuming you mean physical therapy school, that's a tough income to debt ratio. Kudos to you for making your budget to do that!
It is so inspiring to read all the other comments from people who have paid/are paying off huge amounts of debt. It can be done!
Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
My fiduciary is Sonya Lee Mitchell. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
Thanks a lot for this recommendation. I just looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
"Utilize every hour of every day to be productive." Great Quote to you Jade God Bless You and George!
Love both George and Jade. They seem like such grounded and nice people.
FINALLY! A story with a relatable debt. My wife and dont have quite that much but every time i hear people complaining about student debt its 1/4 of ours and ive been so confused how theirs is seen as the norm and i knew it wasnt. Thank you to you and the comments for the validation we arent alone in this fight.
My husband and I have been working at being debt free for a few years now and we have decided to go intense on getting our house paid off!! We are completely living off of my income, which is significantly lower than my husband's. We will be done by August 2024! 2024 is the year of total freedom for us!
Jade, you are awesome and your story is so inspirational. Great hire to the Ramsey team!
You got this 🫵🏻🧡
Thats awesome. It will work out for you.
What a great episode! Thank you both. I would love to know how Jade went from doing her debt free scream to being a Ramsey personality on the show.
I graduated from college four months ago and paid off 12k out of 27k of student loans in the last 3 months. My goal is to have them paid off in another 5 months or less.
Proud of you. Good job❤
Exactly! The rich do it all the time.
Now, we understand why the regime tolerates goofy, evangelical Ramsey because he doesn't mess with their money.
$280k of her / her husband's debt was student loans, not bankruptable.
Love Jades Story (watched many times!👏), Her Enthusiasm & Plant based ways! 🎊
George is so brilliant with how this is organized and so fun. Love Jade too. So glad I got a chance to hear her story and I LOVE GEORGES BOOK!! Top 10 one of my fav books
Hate that I’m late to get this planner. Getting it
my goal this year was to pay off my $12k in credit card debt, only $2900 left and that’ll be paid off by end of November! my goals for 2024 are to have a 6 month emergency fund and start contributing to retirement.
Great channel, awesome interview with the amazing Jade Warshaw. My hubby heard it with me and was inspired to get back on track! Thanks y'all!
We need more interviews like this! So fun to watch 😍😍
Great episode!! My goal for 2024 is to set a tight budget and pay $1500 a month toward student loans.
So my 2024 target is to go hit BS3 again in hopes to reach BS3b, one day 😅
I love Jade! Beautiful, smart, a great asset to the channel & a great example of how to get 'er done!!
I have two debts remaining on two rental properties. Totals about $92,000. Hoping to finish it off by the end of 2024!
My goal for 2024 is to be debt free, to comfortably start our family. And have a stress free maternity leave. We are watching all the way from the UK. Xx
Meene tooo. Wales.
11:21 that word watching game is interesting.
Bravo Jade W, getting rid of 460 'debt addiction;' Your hair lock thing is beautiful, why did you get rid of it? You look a little different 4 months than yesterday, live program.
George, just ordered your book.
Thanks for the support!!
This show made me LOL for real. Great chemistry, good jokes
Yes, hard work pays off and it takes tons of hard work to pay off debt. BUT, making $200,000 a year is not attainable for a lot of couples. I think that part of the situation should have been talked about more!!!
Good to know because I actually thought they paid it off on 36,000 - could not understand how that would be possible
True true... But most couples also don't have $400k in non-mortgage loans.
But getting an almost 100k income between two incomes and one person with side hustles (and the other at home for the kiddos) is very possible. Depends on the region of course, but given $40k each and then a 10k side hustle l, you can do it.
Also what if you are not even a couple. These episodes are always about two people working together to pay off debt.
Jade is my inspiration. With
Cooking at home save money, shop the sales, cook in bulk. Meal prep - you can cook 2 or 3 days week for the whole week.
Jade gives me so much encouragement!
Respect for her being vulnerable here
This show is awesome. I stumbled up on it and subscribed before the end of the episode. I don’t think I’ve ever subscribed to a channel that fast. Great work George and team!
I am starting to pay off our debt, around 200k, I have already paid off 5000 in a month .. working hard and cutting back even harder.
She didn't pay it off with 30k a year. She found other ways to make more money. This is misleading.
Her and her husband paid it off. Who cares what the income was?! Almost a half million dollars of debt paid is BEYOND PHENOMENAL.
Caleb hammer would scream with those music degrees! lol thanks for the transparency.
I love Caleb Hammer. I watch him all the time. 😊 I love his videos and how he tells people how stupid their purchases are. He’s awesome.
... Caleb hammer has a music degree...?
@@kailaleebabineau3962does he forreal?
Scam
My goal for 2024 is to finish my cybersecurity degree debt free! Love this videos
Her energy made me take notes 📝 no bs.
@MarcumFamilyGaming
We just started our journey to being debt free. We are a household of 8 with 2 children in college. We’re on BS2. This is our 2nd month of budgeting so still figuring it out 😅. Goals in 2024 are to stay under budget and get that snowball rolling. Thanks you Jade and George for your examples and hard work!
Great to see Jade here. Looking forward to grow my business and start a YT channel to help others with taxes
Great show !! 🎉 I love all you guys especially the “GOAT” Mr Ramsey !! You’ve turned my life around and I’m eternally great full thankyou so much !!
The problem is bankruptcy doesn't change behavior. Whatever got you into financial doo-doo will still be there after your debts are discharged and will probably happen again.
Yup
This! It’s a toxic cycle
you're absolutely correct.. I have a friend who just filed bankruptcy for the second time but keep booking trips putting herself in these bad situations
@@peaceofmind6141 what kinda trips she taking?
I can't keep up lol@@Dan16673
I love how fun the delivery of the content is via word watch, awesome idea ❣️
Sams club Pizza combo is unmatched. And I'll die on that hill.
This is good! No out of state tuition for us! Love this girl
Thanks George and Jade for the great content!! God bless guys!!!
Great job Jade & George👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This interview was enlightening. It really revealed a lot about Jade and now she makes more sense to me on the Ramsey Show. One can tell she is incredibly talented and able to pick things up quickly. I felt that Jade could have been hocking Tupperware just as much as the Ramsey principles at first. Now, she seems to have really settled in well. She still sounds a bit like a parrot but she represents the Ramsey brand well. I have been enjoying her on the Ramsey Show much more as time goes by as she is finding her "delivery style" on the show. Great interview, George. Kamel.
What a stupid comment. She did not make sense to you prior to now being on the show? Who the heck do you think you are to make judgment calls? Go and work on yourself and your life.
Your TH-cam channel is so entertaining!! I love the small clips 🤣
Helluva story. Much respect Mrs. Warshaw.
George, a 30+ year friend and I have always measured buying power and debt in terms of chickens, so I can relate to the hot dog analogy!
We have a little credit card debt arrears on child support taxes and a few loans that need to be paid off.....we have our emergency fund of $1k already and now getting going on paying everything off......
She said, “Your name is George not Jafar”. 😂😂😂 This was very inspirational!
My 2024 plan is to pay off my house. Thank you for your creative inspiration 🎉❤.
I honestly believe you both speak to the new generation!!
