I get the threads done with needles first top looper then the red bottom looper last. Worth it in the end , but 2 hours to sort out this ti.e!!!

Keen to find out if you could get it working.
If so, I'd also be very keen to learn some trouble-shooting tips for sergers/overlockers as there are quite a few of us buying second hand machines.

Happy to say, I did get it working. I made an update video that I posted after this one. I love second hand machines because of the lower cost, and good quality. I've learned so much from watching youtube videos and from facebook groups on the care and repair of some older machines. The fb groups are great, because you can post a pic or video showing the issue you're having with your machine. Usually someone can help or explain how to fix it in the comments. Thank you for watching and for your comment. Happy sewing!!

    H,i Kitty cat.
I just bought this machine, and it took 3 hours to thread...so here is the deal.
The left looper needs to be threaded correctly. Take the red thread BEHIND the left looper, catch the thread in the tiny niche and then pass it through the threading hole.
Hope this cures the problem. After I did this my machine works and is amazing.

Great advice! You're lucky to have one of these nice machines. I posted a short follow up video of it working, and I really love this machine. It was a good find, and worth the money I put in to fix it. Thanks so much for watching, and for your helpful comment. I'm sure it will help others too.

Try to put the red thread over the blue instead of underneath in the last fase

Yes, after re-threading and removing the cone nets it worked! Thanks for the advice and for watching! 😁
