Rarelly any aircraft goes to d check. If they do, its if the airline has no replacement for these aircraft, like those running dash 8-100 or 737 classic in northern canada. We mostly do some of the task that are covered by the d check during the c check so when the time for a d check arrive, it will already have had been covered by the previous c check
