Great vid!I owned the Red Canyon for years. After waterproofing it is excellent. Its greatest virtue is it will stand up to severe winds. Can't tell you how many campgrounds I have been too and after 60 mile per hour winds it is the only tent standing.most abandoned there trip packed it in and went home. This tent is aero dynamic great design.I now upgraded to Kodiak tents.Thats why I gave my Red Canyon to one of my Son's.
@Elder Aaron Patterson Thank you so much for another comment Aaron! And for sharing your experience with the Red Canyon too 😊 Oh wow I've never had the chance to camp in super high winds, but I'm really glad it was a good experience for you! Hopefully now your son loves it as much as you did 😊
You're welcome Dr Chewy! Happy to be able to reach you over at Mexico! Thank you so much for your comment btw 😊 Hmm I don't have that many 8P tents at the moment sadly. But my new favorite tent is The North Face Wawona. I'm currently using the 6P tent, you can check out the rain test that I did on that tent, and it comes in an 8P version! 😊
@@CampingGuidance Yeah I saw the 6P, great performance. What about the "Quechua tent" I heard they´re really cool! I appreciate your answer, regards. :D
@@DrChewy-bs8js They're really good in rain too! But the biggest size they have for the one I tested is a 3P, which is way smaller than you need it to be. Decathlon does have other bigger tents but I haven't tested those out yet though :(
