The were never throwing this hard, but since the plate is so close to the mound the speeds would be 15-20 mphs more than what they actually were, none of these kids are touching seventy except for 1-2
This is missing Kyler Carter of Georgia. I never forget him watching him pitch as this was a time I was still in little league. He was pinning 83 MPH and a lefty. How is he not on here?
Those monster pitchers are all 13 years old, children grows fast during that age, now Little league limit the age to in the game birthday from 3/31 to 9/1, so the pitchers fastest ball became rare.
I’m a small dude and i got screwed over by the rules😂 but my dad is actually apart of the Little League Congress and he was petitioning heavily to get it changed
I wish i redid my life as a 10 year old. I'd be 100 syringes of steroids into the season, 9 games in. 108 MPH equivalent MLB pitches but with the smallest testies in the world and telling mom to DIAF.
Imagine all the legends who never got the chance who threw 85 allegedly in little league, and I’m sure we all think we know a kid who stacks up with the greatest little leaguers who ever lived but I witnessed the greatest of all time in my own little league nick Donato who I saw at 12 years old regularly dot corners in between 80 and 85 all throughout his 12 year old season and the team he was on won states 10 and 11 year old year and he snapped his elbow when he was in the tournament after districts and this team was destined to go to the llws like this was the team Toms River prepared to beat all year
It's crazy in LLWS this is a no hitter every time. In anything above 14u it's a homerun. Just today saw a kid built like a toothpick hit a 380 foot triple of a 85mph fastball
Cuz the mound is further back😂 idk if you heard but because of how close you are it’s the same reaction time as a 105 mph mlb pitch which mlb hitters struggles to hit so I don’t think 12 year old could hit it
Wish I would've seen some real heat while in little league... probably would've prepared me a little more for high school ball when I would see 80 many times...and never make good contact or any contact at all. These kids are seeing 80+ at 12 and 13 years old! Hitting 80 in the cages is so much easier when you know it's coming and right down the middle lol
Nope, you obviously have no idea how the selection works. Also, it's also kind of unfair that the U.S. has their own bracket while all other teams have only one bracket, so a US team is guaranteed to be in the finals.
@@gxeriawell how teams can “cheat” is that they are allowed to merge little leagues. So if there is guy 50 miles away throwing 80 mph they can “merge” the leagues and that kid can play for that little league
If they were 12 that would be insane most leagues play babe ruth or pony league back years ago by age 13 so the kids that threw 80mph didn't seem this fast.
No disrespect meant but there are a lot of players that age throwing low 80's. Most of your better players don't play for little league. The reason being their field dimensions are way to close. At age 13 all our kids played by high school rules which are Major League dimensions of pitching at 60ft 6 in. and base paths of 90 ft. Our 9/10 teams pitched at 54 ft. This gave them the experience needed to make their high school teams. Our team played in the Baltimore Metro League and than did tournaments up and down the east coast. Most of the players made varsity their freshman year. If you take some of the better pitchers and pitch them at 46 ft. That just doesn't make sense. Even our Rec teams didn't play at those dimensions.
These speeds are rare for ANY kid in the entire world to throw even on a shorter distance. I bet anything you werent throwing 70MPH that young. 99.999% of kids this age cant
“I am 12”. End quote.
Alex Edmondson threw 83 mph! Although he was 13 by then, it's still the fastest I've seen or heard of
I saw one. Today Illinois vs Hawaii and it said a slow pitcher was throwing 108 min equavialnet
Why don't they show the speeds of pitches anymore?
They don't kids over throwing
they don’t want to embarrass them
It’s too slow for the speed gun to catch it lol

its because they were 13 year olds throwing these speeds and now it is only 12 year olds.
Probably because they realized grown men shouldn't be participating in the LLWS
no shit it was the big 2018 change where in 2019 13 years olds couldn’t play anymore

Yeah......a few of these kids look a little older than 12/13. First guy could probably get into clubs without being carded

You don’t have to worry about any American kids getting on this list in 2022. I haven’t seen any kids throwing heat yet.
They have changed the age limit for LL, you won't be seeing any 13 y.o any more in the World Series.
