A hint I saw on another video to help with the unloading: Once you release the rear tire, roll the bike back into the opened rack arm. Then it will support the bike so you don't have to hold it, allowing you to use both hands to release the other latch. It may provide better support if the first rack arm isn't opened all the way. I really enjoyed your detailed video of the assembly process. Nice job!

When removing the bike just loosen one wheel lust a little bit still supporting the bike so in won’t fall over then completely loosen other wheel. Then you can move the bike enough to get it off. Don’t need another person.

I liked your idea of a single tray for regular use when I ride on my own, that way I can always have it on and it would not impeded the rear camera view but when my wife wants to ride we can add the second tray easily. Since you’ve had it for a while…. Did you go back to the single tray option for normal use or in retrospect would you have just gone for the double? Thanks.
Make sure the police don’t stop you cause they can’t read your license plate. I got a $700 fine and I had to pay it. I ended up return my 1up for a full refund but I still lost $700 dollars

Hi! Hope you made your purchase. I don't have another video ,but I can tell you, as it is now 6 months since posting, the rack has held up beautifully. No highway issues.

I was also leaning toward doing the single so I can have it on without the camera obstruction and easy to use if I go riding on my own but it looks simple enough to add the 2nd for when we go riding together. I just used my new super duty 2" hitch rack. IT REALLY NEEDS A BETTER WAY TO UNLOCK AND SWIVEL. 1up wants you to spend $90 more, on top of the $665-$715, for their extremely poor implementation of a latch and positioning thereof, that allows swinging rack up and down!
Sorry but I had to laugh when you didn't look at the directions. And they say men don't ask for directions.... Nice rack though. I expected as you use it more you'll get better at it just like anything else. I think I'm going to have to order one. Great job mom!
The wobble looks like it could cause contact damage from the bikes banging into each other. That's why I'm hesitant about getting this rack. The bikes are not secure enough for my liking.

There is a ramp available for this rack which will make it easier to load the heavy e bike.

This is a nice rack but the problem is it is out of stock.

True! Haven't tried it, as didn't want to spend the $$ or have to store it in my car!
You should’ve bought a Kuat NV2.0 base instead of that to make your life easier.
I'm sure the Kuat is a great rack too, on par with the 1 Up. I just wanted to go with something I felt looked much better!
Kuat looks great. But it is at least 5 pounds heavier and doesn't fold up for storage.
