@@MrZotteltier I stopped watching in 2019-2020 because organically lost interest due to content, like I either clicked off from it but landing with me or by October 2019 only watched about a dozen videos all year. Out of curiosity, I looked at new stuff and was more of a "who the hell are these people" and "this just sucks".
As for who I watch now, Graystillplays, CallmeKevin, LetsGameItOut, JackSucksatlife (doesn't do any gaming content now but was Minecraft hacker trolling that hooked me), Spiffing Brit and few others I forget channel name

41:00 As exaggerated as this may sound, the entirety of Hole 6 was very special to me honestly. It was really one of the roughest points of my life dealing with Meningitis and absolutely everything was just painful. Some can handle but i'm very weak natured and I couldnt move, sleep, eat, drink, just everything felt like suffering while rotting away at bed. But once I got meds, in tandem I watched this very moment with Hole 6 and it just felt great to laugh again. Not just chuckle laugh but actually laugh my ass off after feeling so much pain for a while. It actually made me feel physically better too along with the meds and it was the biggest relief in my life. So thanks for this series honestly.

Doesn't, he chose to stop drinking. Nothing's preventing him from doing so, hes just been maintaining his health much better.

@@waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaluigi well this comment was posted two years ago, but I’ve been watching them since the beginning. I remember watching the first AHWU and seeing the first Let’s Play in Saints Row 3. I would say that their content has only gotten better over the years. A lot of that is due to new hires and the high-level of comedy and entertainment they bring. I still love some of their old stuff, but their new stuff is great!

Today, something very depressing happened to me. In order to cheer myself up, I wanted to watch something dumb and hilarious.

We all know that Geoff has a drinking problem but when he drinks to the point where it drastically effects his job/profession (gameplay and demeanor), I really think that it is an issue that needs to be addressed by the Rooster Teeth staff (specifically Yvonne Secretan and other founders (Burnie, Matt, Joel, and Gus).
I also know that this video is going to get a lot of hate for it and I am trying to keep my comment as level-headed and productive. And the fact that the TH-cam comment section is a sea of trolls and are almost never read or taken seriously by the production staff. So I guess in a way this will be lost here forever and my comment is pointless.
I am also drunk myself so look who's talking.
This video is clearly being well received by fans, I am failing to see how it is negatively effecting this video. If there was actually a problem in the work place I'm sure it would be dealt with. It's also really none of our business to judge a man we don't even know.
Why can we not openly judge when he is openly alcoholic? And all I've seen but some of the most liked comments are "Geoff...fucking obnoxious", and "Drunk Geoff... annoying".
I am just throwing in my personal opinion that I do not see it as a positive on how it inhibits his performance.

I agree with Geoff when he said that he was glad Gavin or Jack wasn't in the mini-golf crew. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind those two but I'm pretty sure having Gavin constantly screaming at his shitty shots or silent Jack wouldn't be as enjoyable as these four. Glad to see more mini-golf!

Michael, you did an superb shot there (at time stamp 27:49-28:17). Geoff your daughter in the last video sounded cute, when she said, "Daddy, get me a drink" scared me a little. But afterwards, when she started cheering for you and the others, I couldn't help but smile.
Geoff's laughter is the only thing keeping me going. He brings light into my world.
So this is the episode where Geoff keeps blaming the controller but never changes the controller. So I say drunk Geoff is full of it.

Man, it is honestly really amusing to watch the hate on YT comments cycle between the Achievement Hunters. Jack was the original, since then we have gone through Ryan when he first joined LPs, a little bit of Gavin, Michael, Lindsay, back to Jack, the new guys, and now Geoff. The YT community always has to have someone to bitch about.
You realize you're being just as bad as the people crying for Geoff to be fired, right? "Oh no, people disagree with me! They must be 'haters' that have no valid reasoning behind their opinions because they don't like something I do!"
I love Geoff but even I think he was annoying this episode. He pretty much devolved into the rough equivalent of dangling keys in front of a babies face by making dumb noises and forcing that drunken laugh out as much as physically possible. He was just being loud and obnoxious to the point of making it hard to listen to the other guys. Some people like that kind of thing. Some people don't.
Granted I think some people take it too far. I don't want Geoff gone. I don't want him fired. I'm just saying, if I wanted a drunk guy bellowing in my ear about nothing I would go to a bar. But by all means, just shrug it off and scream "U ALL JUST BITCHING 4 NO REASON" or stick to the typical "U jelly" or "hater" bullshit. That will really help the shows get better, with such sterling criticism.

Oh boy, you just added to my original amusement. If you are ignorant enough to believe their hate is warranted/legit than you are just foolish. You can pay attention, it truly is just a cycle of hate. People have been complaining about Geoff for multiple videos now, before his drunken shenanigans.

Now, the initial point of my comment was not to deny people their own preferences, I personally think these are the 4 best in AH. But seriously, like I already mentioned, go pay attention to the comments, a video I specifically remember with copious amounts of unwarranted Michael hate was the Minecraft AH hospital. He did not change his style of humor in that video at all, he was still loud, angry, and obnoxious, that which we love about him. Yet for that particular video (as well as a couple of other ones around the same time) people decided to whine about him. A few weeks later they gave up with absolutely no change in Michael at all.
Also, my comment was mostly directed at those who make the "fire him" comments.
But one thing that is really amusing me (just like the cycle of hate) is the fact that you are treating my amusement as a legitimate commentary/criticism on the community. I just stated what I found amusing mate, I never once stated any of the following comments ""U ALL JUST BITCHING 4 NO REASON", or "U jelly". I did mention them hating, but that is not necessarily calling them haters, though that is just semantics.
I did not state they did not have a reason to be mad at Geoff, I just find the hate amusing as it shows up, especially since it will pass shortly.
Suffice it to say (TL;DR), I was amused, there was no commentary actually on the hate. So please, read carefully next time.

Maybe, just maybe, that with how many videos they release weekly, one of the members will start doing something that a lot of people don't like. Here a lot of people found Geoff to be overly-annoying and kind of irritating, myself included. It doesn't mean that it's some kind of cycle of hate, it just means they did something we found annoying.
You don't have much of a point. It's almost as if TH-cam is made up of different people with different opinions, and that the comment section is just a vocally-large minority.
IMMAEDEDDNEDD Y I do not know if you are new to AH videos, or if you just do not pay attention. This was not the first video to have Geoff hate in the comments, and I doubt it will be the last.
There are some people who just do not find things to be funny, that is understandable. But pay attention, you can often find a large amount of hate directed at a specific person in the video, and it is segmented. I specifically referenced some unwarranted Michael hate above, but other times it has been Jack, or even Gavin for a brief time. Nothing about their comedy changed, but nevertheless some people wanted to whine.

these minigolf videos are some of the best these guys have ever produced, and I don't know why. Don't get me wrong, I love everything about these guys, but there is just something so funny about listening to their banter over minigolf, it's priceless.

You do realize that even if you are in charge of all your co-workers you can be called in for a job performance evaluation? In Norway where i live you can call something called the Work Supervision (Translated from the Norwegian word "Arbeidstilsynet") And their work is to come in and supervise if someone is being treated unfair or has bad working conditions. I dont know about you but if i had to lets say edit a video while a co-worker is tumbling around drunk. then that would be bad.
