You're much more brave than me with that fader knob. I tossed my fader knob across the room and last time I saw it one of my cats was batting it back and forth across the room with her paws.
Unpacked my EP-133 at the same time as watching your video... experienced the exact same issues and emotions as you did!! Only thing I did first was turn it on, so at least I knew the fader worked out-of-the-box before feeling like I was gonna break it when trying to get the protective cap off... 😂
Also used a knife to get that fader plug off (used two knives - one each side underneath!). But screwed the fader when pressing the knob down too hard 😔 had to do the manual fix
Bro ive been on the fence on getting this ,my bros say dont get it but i love weird stuff ,this caught my attention ,i think I'll get one ,it would be my Christmas gift .
I left my black fader cap on. Not even chancing it. Aesthetics be damned 🤣But you should have turned the unit on first, worked the fader to make sure it worked out of the box and that you didn't break it putting the knob on.
That thing is a neat idea but the design is trash. Mine was working fine then all of a sudden one day, the main output volume got really low and it went out. They are shoddily made and I wouldn't expect one to last for years like other devices do. I returned mine and got a MPC Live 2 instead. I'm mobile still and much happier with the unit!
I understand that, the MPC is definitely far more sturdy and refined. I got a 3 year protection plan on the KO because of the issues people have mentioned.
@@qmakesbeatz Oh I wasn't trying to clown on you or nothing like that my brother. I wish you many years of use with it. It's a great device when it works, I just couldn't trust it after what happened with mine. Peace homie!
@GODInTheWax444 oh nah, I didn't take it that way. I've genuinely been throwing my mpc live 2 around and it's been fine. Just noted I got the protection plan because I'd be hot if mine failed that way! It's all love.
Finally someone making hip hop on this showing its true potential
congrats bro, looks really fun. nice authentic video
Can wait to see what you else you cook up on this thing

😂 I was gonna use the return policy on Amazon immediately if it went left.
Who does that?

Fart into it. Like throughout the day different farts. I made a ‘future type beat’ with my rips dude.
Make a tutorial for beginners when you get caught up, greatly appreciated. TY
I'll put something together
