    Thank you for your video. This is exactly what I needed to try this and it worked great and saved me a great deal of pre trip stress and money by not having to send it to Nikon. I previously only used an air blower but it no longer was doing the job. I then tried with a Q-tip to take a small dot away which worked, so then chased another dot which then left a streak - big mistake. I was heartsick. I ordered the kit and it is now like new. Your video really helped give me the confidence to do this. Thank you.

    on my d750 i get those "oil" drip dots all over the picture.. with my nikon dx cams i never had have that.. did send it in for cleaning two times but i came back soon..

    i did this.. and something went wrong in the opposite mirror.. that look like a scratch..

      Those q-tips can't cause scratches they are soft on the end. Did you stick something else in there?
