The counts ups and downs only proves Danny is a regular guy that loves cars, I can relate I grew up 50s and 60s back in the day most important thing you could own is your car, the world revolved around cars, your car identifies who you are! I pray things are going good and I hope he returns to the show soon, miss him alot. Counting cars is the best tv series History Channel has ever had, hope to see more!
If I want to see cars actually being restored I'll watch FantomWorks. The headband, Horny Mike and the two week turnarounds have got to go. I honestly wish him the best but learn nothing from the show.
I was definitely one of the millions of viewers of this reality show and really enjoyed the show which made great restorations and overhauls of classic cars/bikes. Plus, out of the many similar shows, Danny Koker came off as genuine and a down to earth people person with a savvy business sense. I actually miss this show and would definitely be a return viewer if they brought the show back. I believe that Danny's new found fame didn't change him or made him become like the rest of the well known reality stars that were spawned from the 2010's and so on. I hope the guy's doing good and enjoying life after this roller coaster of a ride from the time of reality shows.

I know what it's like to have pneumonia. I had it when I was 48. And I can see why the elderly circum to it. It took me 3 weeks to finally get to where I could do for myself. It's the worst I've ever felt.

The rag on his head went out with the 70's & in 2023 he looks like a dork (its not cool at all). Agree the staged TV personality shows with all the fake drama etc are done & too cringeworthy. The only decent content (minus all the staged/fake crap) is now on YT
Loved the part of the show where he would flag down drivers and try to buy there cars, or drive around and find projects sitting in driveways and side yards. The shop talk was a little to scripted so I’d fast forward through it and get to the reveal.
Danny got a headstart in life by having an affluent, successful family. He had early exposure to the media through his family and connections to the media. He still worked hard and earned all his success. In my opinion, a "self made man" literally starts off poor with no help at all and makes it through life by his own devices.

I like Roadworthy Rescues. That's Derreck from Vice Grip Garage. He finds old parked cars that were 'Running When Parked' and gets them running and drives them home. He's entertaining, and he really shows the audience how to do it. Awesome premise!

He didn't "Leave" just took a leave from the show, which allowed the rest of the guys to do other things for awhile, but they are filming Season 11 as we speak but rumor is this will be it because Ryan Evans has left the CK and opened his own custom painting shop although he is going to this season with them, Mike has opened up a string Liqcour Stores in and around Vegas, Ghetto Bob and one of the other Interior guys have opened up their own Custom interior shop and Kevin and Danny have all but retired.

The scripted/staged/fake drama car shows era is done & dusted. The viewers have moved on and want real content or real resto work being done in a teaching style format so we can learn. The only place to get seriously good content is now on YT - whether it be panel work/tig/mig welding/painting/interior trim/engine work/electrics/tuning etc its all there without all the BS on these cringeworthy personality shows. The rag on his head is totally ridiculous (a 70's thing to hide balding) and is not cool whatsoever - reminds me of Elton John & his hats before he had a hair transplant)
