This movie is great, this is the same kind of pseudo slapstick that Jackie Chan is so good at, except Jason Statham seems to have his own style, so it doesn't feel stale at all. That fight with the toe clips from the bike was so awesome.
I just saw a teaser for the reboot on Netflix..realizing the REBOOT came out in goddamn 2015, when I grew up with transporter makes me feel super old hahaha. These movies were so kickass and really solidified him as an action guy, his roles in Snatch and The One were good but he was just a hard ass cop/gangster, not an action star
I will say, there's a reason the raid and protector revolutionized the stunt work/modern action cinema of wick etc, they're definitely way up there, but transporter definitely was one of the first modern action movies that really went all in on good stunt work, creative fight scenes and shooting it properly without BS rapid cuts like Bourne
Jason Stratham...shirtless. And oiled up (Hello!!). Awesome fight scene. Innovative (love the bike pedal idea). He kicks ass all over them. A can’t go wrong sequence.
How is this not the biggest meme on the internet? This nigga just went Legs Akimbo on 40 dudes, finishing with the quadruple wheel kick back-to-back-to-back-to-back, and then slid away like a fucking emperor penguin.
The scene is very funny when no one of the thugs cannot grab Frank Martin because of the oil on his body, but also a little painful when he uses the footswitches of a bike to defeat them all. Frank Martin isn't only an excellent fighter, but also a good improvisor
The scene of using own cloth as weapon and the grease fight scene was later on mention by the filmmakers taken inspiration from Jet Li's earlier film from Once upon a time in China part 3. Where he was trapped in a fight with the floor filled with oil.
i believe that martial art that Jason is doing is all wing chun the fight was great especially when he poors oil all over him he also uses the bad guy as a bulletproof vest i hope Jason is in the new transporter film.
Really don't know why I like this scene very much.watched it again and again.
Transporter is great. Like a good old fashioned Jackie Chan flick. This scene epitomizes that. Great fight scene.
This scene (and movie) is one of the most badass things in all cinema.
Fun fact, that wasn't oil in real life, it was actually syrup. The actors had to take multiple showers in between the shoot
Tienes razón ( traduction English )
The creativity it took to make that seen is top level. The bike pedals is pure writer originality
But it's not red, it's black.
Still my favorite scene of this movie, love it! :)
Amber Wilbourn Yep, me too. I liked it so well I put it up on youtube. : ) As far as I could tell it wasn't up before then.
Great film. One of my favourite films.
4:16
My favourite too possibly I’m a massive Jason statham fan here
The guitar riff in the background is so perfect for the fight scene
Exactly, but I can't find it.

this is still one of my favourite fight scenes ever in a movie, the oil is a great idea, loved it at the time and love it now.
Definitely taken from the Tsui Hark film “Knock Off” with Jean Claude Van Damme. Check it out if you like this scene !
3:10 That oil drum was incredibly easy to pull over. You can guarantee that some apprentice mechanic would knock it over at some point.

The oil fight is copied from a tamil indian film called 'gilli ' where actor vijay beats up a bunch of thugs with toe clips from bike
invisiblepker
I didn't know that, which fight did you like better?
nae, ghilli came out 2 years after transporter
The Transporter release date 2 October 2002 👍👍
Ghilli release date April 17, 2004 🤣😂

Aw man, you cut it just before Statham kisses that guy...
I've never seen any fight scene like this one. Incredibly memorable
Check out “Knock Off” with Jean Claude Van Damme. The oil concept was definitely taken from that film. You’ll like it if you like this scene

Don't know why people thought this movie was shit, I loved it
I love it.
it's like a jackie chan movie that doesn't realize it's a jackie chan movie
a movie can be complete shit and still totally entertaining; I feel much the same way about CRANK 2
Leo Santi-Goncacalez I'm not gay I love pussy, but I got a bromance with Jason.
Leo Santi-Goncacalez then ur a fukwit
This is so ridiculous. The best part is when they try to grab him and just slide off making that funny noise ;D
THe sickest scene ever mahn!Awesome action in this can't get this part out of my head!
Jason Stratham...shirtless. And oiled up (Hello!!). Awesome fight scene. Innovative (love the bike pedal idea). He kicks ass all over them.

Corey Yuen Kwai did an awesome job choreographing these fight scenes.
2:00 one of those mini bosses in "The Transporter" movies ;)
he was 1 of the gangsters from earlier when Frank was asking about the dimensions of the package
Quite like Jason because he’s always a tough bald British man And always got some strength
Yeah.
Yeah
I notice that in pretty much ever transporter movie he uses his clothes like a weapon lol
England has some incredible martial artists..David Lea, Gary Daniels, Scott Adkins, and Statham is good too..
Aaron Gassor!
I thought Jason Statham is French.
Jason statham laughed when the guy tried pulling him and he slipped at 3:20
Tekken 7 Bryan laugh kinda

This was such a creative scene, amazing!
Someone should edit 4:16 to 4:20 into a gif of Jason continuously roundhouse heeling jabronis to the face.
Will Hartley it's called a spinning hook kick
Karate & Taekwondo's favors kick
4:21 *PENGUIN MODE ACTIVATED*

While i was waftching this last night, i couldn't help but think of sanji the whole time. lol
It's like trying to catch a greased pig, only the pig can mess you up permanently.
And knows martial arts.
I love this scene in The Transporter
What a wonderful fight from a wonderful badass,,,salute to you IDOL,,, JAYSON STATHAM ❤️
Jason is like a white Jackie Chan

The music reminds me of the PS1 video game 'Fighting Force'.
Friends, does anyone know the name of this movie???
I must have watched this a few hundred times by now. But the WTF-ness level of the kicks at 1:04 and 2:22 still gets me every time.
Now THERE´S are reason to pull your damn shirt off, take this Jacob!
Statham has popularity but I still feel he’s too underrated
Wow, that would have been great if it wasn't color-graded creamed spinach grey-green.
2:00 Song?
Oil like that is hard to ignite, and even harder to make it go boom.
Anyone know the music on the bus?
You must always what's your back good movie

0:06 that's the dude that fought Jet Li with the his big twin.......they both had blonded hair in: Kiss of the Dragon
I've seen Kiss of the Dragon, but I hadn't noticed the guy in this movie. Guess I blinked at the wrong time
Esse filme filme melhor filme de todos da franquia Carga Explosiva Esse filme é muito bom top 10
how dose he end up shirtless in every other fight scene?
i do muay thai, and being shirtless in a fight is more comfortable, so that u can also move easily
They know women watch these movies. lol
It is part of this composition. Check the 6:30 mark or so.
The Transporter soundtrack - Stanley Clarke Mission
They ever do the spikes on mythbuster?
Ermahgerd. One of the best.
So only 3 guys were allowed to carry guns? Lol
I still think that Jason should be Hitman
