Hi I was wondering if you have any blog post templates for Showit or if is it better to start creating blogs in WordPress? Thanks for all your video help!!!!
@thrivingmom4222 When you use Showit, you are still using WordPress for your blog posts, they are just hosted on Showit. So you would use the same blog post templates available here: thecreativeimpact.lpages.co/digital-blog-post-templates/ I know that may seem confusing but I break it all down within my course when you purchase a Showit website template. thecreativeimpact.com/showit-website-templates More templates are coming next week! This video shows you how to move an existing WordPress blog over to be HOSTED on Showit but it is still a WordPress blog. Who do you use for hosting? I am currently with Siteground but looking to change. I did switch over to Showit today and you werent kidding about the customer support. Cant wait for it to be fully migrated over!!
Hi @kristinaandonian9052 So glad you made the switch and are happy with them! You actually don't need separate hosting with Showit. They take care of that for you- it's included in your subscription. When you launch your site, they will set it all up for you. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@tessie_tracy Hi! Yes, so once Showit has successfully transferred over your blog, and has launched your site with the new DNS directory, you can cancel all other hosting like Siteground. Just make sure that Showit has confirmed you are all set. Have you started creating your site on Showit yet? If so, I'd love to know what you think of the platform.
@@thecreativeimpact yes. My site is ready to go, I like the platform. I didn’t realize the plan o signed up for didn’t include blog migration, so the only thing I didn’t like is that I have to wait for support to upgrade my plan, I can’t just click a button to upgrade.
