Snorkels are beneficial even if you stay out of the "deep stuff". They move your air intake up above the majority of the trail dust, thus keeping your air filter clean longer. Also, I recommend blue shop towels. You can use them to clean your hands AND they make great TP.
This is one of the most important modifications you can do. You don't have to be a deep rider for this. If you ever have a chance of getting door deep you need to do this mod! - Applies to all #HondaPioneer SxS's.
HondaSxS.com absolutely correct! Even if you don’t plan on getting in deep stuff you would be surprised how much water could get in the vent lines just from washing the P5.
Interested in your opinion on something? Over the years I've owned 4 different Honda's. Rubicon, Foreman and 2 Fourtrax. I own 3 now and I'm selling the Rubicon and Foreman as we speak. Decided to sell them and I'll be picking up a new P-5(red of course) next week. What's the best way to properly break in the motor? What are your thoughts on using Mobil1 products as opposed to using Honda oil? I guess they make product that's made specifically for Hondas and Toyota engines.
Ive always just followed the manuals recommendations. I believe it just say not to hold it over half throttle for a certain amount of miles or hours then not to hold it over 3/4 for extended periods for a few more miles or hours. I’ll look up the specifics and post them for you when I’m home.

The 1000-5 will be getting the same treatment before long!
Not mentioned in the vid but I will also be venting the radiator fan vent as well.
For demo on how to make a wooden bed for the pioneer 500
Can I assume the horizontal cylinder on the frame next to the air box is part of the walker shocks mod?
You got it. It’s where I mounted the remote reservoir for the rear shocks to keep them out of harms way on the trail.
