My hometown. I live in Waterford -Halfmoon now....just across the bridge from Troy. I live these videos. I just moved down from Saratoga/Ballston Spa about a year ago.
Next time ya visit downtown Albany on a weekday stop at Miranda’s deli on Columbia street . Don’t be concerned by a line down the sidewalk that’s 10 deep . They keep it moving with very good service and great food .
next time do a little research so you know what building the state capitol is and the plaza is a government center built by Nelson Rockefeller and the craters are to remove exhaust fumes from the underground parking. Then you can give viewers a little Insite.
I have lived in Albany for 75 years. If you spent time you would realize the streets are dirty , crime is rapid, the mayor is a out of touch woke person from Chicago who doesn't have a clue as to the history or splendor of Albany back in the day.
downtown is always dead because none of the people who work there live there. everyone who makes money in albany lives in the suburbs and commutes, the people who live in the city live right outside of downtown and they are extremely poor run down areas. also there is practically no public transportation.
@@JasmineTeaEnjoyerinvesting in meaningful public transit both inter and intra city as well as making small ground-up efforts to improve the visual quality of the residential areas-fixing sidewalks, putting up new streetlights if/where needed, repainting/resurfacing roads-all would be sufficient in attracting more people and dense development efforts. Not that it’s gonna happen 🥲
Idk if you would like to walk into a tour ignorant of your surroundings? If that's you thing you nailed it. You missed so much. Are you really that condescending? Did you do research. Albany is both light and dark. You saw the light and mocked it. Walk Into the dark you may not be making another video. Just saying. I do not live there anymore. Watch yourselves. On the brighter side you missed so many beautiful places to visit. Coffee shops are not a thing i would be In retested in? That's weird. You can get coffee anywhere. Concern yourself with the title of video. I feel sad for you. Sorry I'm a downer but geez so is this video.
That track on the stairs is for people with bikes, not wheel chairs. You put the wheel into the track and walk it down 👍🍻
The railings on the bridge stairs are for bicycles! Nice video thanks for posting!
