I was in Mumbai last December and trust me the best,cheapest and convenient way to travel within the island only during non peak hours !! The Mumbaikars are helpful and not cunning as the Delhiites!! The M-Indicator app is so useful and really updated on real time basis! Only I messed up once while traveling back but as I said people of Mumbai are very helpful.
TH-cam again recommended me this video after watching some of Rishad’s local cab view videos. TH-cam notified me I had already watched it, so I checked it and was surprised to see this comment from 5 years ago. I rarely ever travelled from the DC local. I can only remember the green-painted interior and being uncomfortable while travelling these. It must be because I was 7 or 8 years old and still new to these gigantic machines for 3-foot me, and it was nighttime. I still feel uneasy seeing those two little cabin windows and the brown and cream colour combination, it reminds me of the time when I had seen my mother watching the news of 28/11, and being worried for my father while she, I and my sibling were 600 kilometres away from my father east in Amravati (native place). My 12th board exams are now 2 weeks away, and I commute to the city where my college is, every day in Siemens or Bombardier EMUs. Although, the Central division of Mumbai Railway handles locals atrociously, travelling alone whilst hearing those clicks and clacks tracks still makes me thrilled as a DC local would have done too, except with no uneasiness this time. Ahhh the old Mumbai greenery and especially Parsik Tunnel greenery that time but now Parsik Tunnel area is ruined by slums
