    Just dropping in to say this works extremely well. Works well alone. But works best with a coiled wire brush as well. Will Def keep this on hand. Makes cleaning the grease a breeze

    Here is what works for me for cleaning my grill. Using a wire (but not the dangerous type..more of a coil), first. Then a pumice stone to really get it good. Then back to the wire again to remove the pumice dust left behind. THEN this grill rescue brush. Combined, it cleans up my grill really well. Can't ask for more.

    This guy reminds me of the plumbus episode of Rick and morty, very entertaining and informing! We already have one, I just watched this video to see how I can clean the sponge.

    How do you take the pad off the handle? Just got one and need to know for when i need to remove it and put it in the dishwasher.

    • @GrillRescue
      @GrillRescue  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best way to release the cleaning head from the handle is to firmly press in on one side of the locking clips of the cleaning head with your thumb while using your other hand and fingers as support. It should pop right off or, if possible, be able to press in on both locking clips at the same time.

    How does the steam part work? You just said dip in water.
    Do you mean boiling hot water?

    • @JohannGambolputty22
      @JohannGambolputty22 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your grill grates are hot even cold water will steam instantly.

    I got one for my bday. Washed it in the dishwasher and it didn't clean it off at all. It DOES clean the grill fairly well...but the scrubbing pad itself does not clean as you advertise at all.

    • @GrillRescue
      @GrillRescue  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Due to the high heat and grease, the cleaning head works on it will have some discoloration and will never return to the original brand new color, but that won't affect its cleaning ability, and it is still safe to use.

    I wasn't even looking for this video. I did run my finger across a wire grill brush one time. It was brand new and I got a metal splinter. Imagine what a rusty grill brush could do

    Mine is black after my first use. Probably supposed to be. But am i supposed to wash it now? Or just keep wetting it. I rinsed it after i used it but that thing isnt cleaning up. lol

    • @GrillRescue

      The best way to clean the pads is by hand with warm water and soap. Due to the high heat and grease, the cleaning head works on it will have some discoloration and will never return to the original brand new color, but that won't affect its cleaning ability, and it is still safe to use.

    Not as advertised.
    1. The scrub pops off easily when cleaning
    2. Doesn’t clean in dishwasher.

    • @GrillRescue
      @GrillRescue  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ella, You can remove the cleaning head by firmly pressing on the locking clips on the side of the cleaning head, sometimes it is easier to just press in on one of the locking clips with your thumb while using your other hand and fingers as support. It should pop right off! Here is a video to help you out: grillrescue.com/pages/faq

      Yes, as long as it covers the cleaning head sponge part completely, enough to get every grill grates it brushed clean.
