The calcified belemnite in matrix is amazing. The way the light shone through it! 😍 Those are lovely fossils. The sponge is beautiful. What a wonderful gift you got, too!!
Great to see another fossil video from you, what cool finds. Sorry about your pick! It's hard work for sure, good thing you brought the good water. The sponge, ammonite, and shark's teeth were fantastic but that Nautiloid! How awesome of the lady to give that to you. Thanks for sharing this, cheers!
Those were some great finds. I can’t really pick my favorite because they’re all interesting for different reasons but I’ve ever seen a sponge fossil that big. So that’s pretty special. Great work
@@Amberscape i know you take your preps pretty seriously so I believe you can do it. It’s just a matter of what it’s hiding underneath the surface. Regardless it’s already museum quality in my book. Nothing I find is near that size
This is amazing, it was alive so long ago, and now after millions of years you can touch it... sort of. The probability of you meeting this particular 66m years old sponge probably has quite a lot of zeros after the decimal point. btw. if you ever wanna come over to the south of poland, around Cracow, you can stay over, I have quite a few spare rooms, and there are few quarries in the ~30km radius
Yeaaap completely agree about probability if meeting these fossils😁. Thanks for the offer man i appreciate it! But having where to sleep is not an issue - this time i did sleep in my car and it was okeyish😁
Heya, depends if you do it on private land or not:), this specific place was abandoned rock quarry, perfectly legal, but using pickaxes needs certification

I have to know...how on Earth did you manage to get those rocks to your car?
Carried one by one uphill in the mood😁😁
@@Amberscape LOL, Love that kind of determination.😁
