I’m not a big fan of Tenyo. Some stuff I purchased years ago didn’t hold up. Also many of them are (for lack of a better word) miniature which isn’t my style. But this piqued my interest. I’ve always been a fan of Light/Heavy. And this looks like it could fit in or add to a card routine. I also think it is quite unique. Your review here is what I needed. It is the last step in convincing myself to try something from Tenyo again. Thank you young man for another great review. I’ll call Paul and Max👍

I’ve always seen Tenyo in the Magic shop but never bought any. I’m actually going to look into them more! I live in Chicago so I’m used to Fun Inc. products.

I appreciate this review! I do have a question off-topic, though. What is the best any card and number Mentalist trick you've come across. I'm looking for something very clean and easy to reset. Preferably no gimmicks, unless it's really clean/easy reset
Hi, there are many magic forums (sorry fora) where you can ask this question and it will be answered, but a word of advice do not use subjective terms like "the best" magicians don't like it. Simply state what you want from the effect and you will be taken a lot more seriously.
Totally Magic, here on TH-cam did a series of about 5 ACAANs , all of them good, a couple of them excellent, hope this helps.

And the parameters that I'm looking for don't give away any specifics of any tricks. I was being specific, without giving anything away.

I think this is pretty cool. I spend a lot of time in schools, so I like tricks which don't take a lot of time, are portable, and still fascinate. Would the science work on Formica? Also, I think you should link the channel with your tutorials in your videos. I'm having a hard time finding them.

What would happen if the table lifts up too eg if doing on a light table? Is there a way to stop this from happening without a stool. Thanks

David, when you say that the 'science' is unreliable is that only when you switch surfaces or is it unreliable even on the same surface?
if you find the right surface it works every time. For some magicians - this was their favorite release this year.

Would I be right in guessing that this isn't going to work on most close up pads/card tables without the second piece? Otherwise I've seen plenty of cards that come in clear plastic boxes like that, mostly cheap souvenir ones, but it's enough of a real item.

9:28 so the box sucks, but not all the time. Seems to me that it relies on the two surfaces sealing perfectly creating adhesion due to the lack of air gap. When the magician picks up the box, I imagine he squeezes the sides slightly or picks it up from one end to break the seal. To quote Jesse Pinkman "Yeah science!"

Damn Tenyo makes cool stuff❣️ I would mix it with something like propdogs bend no bend keys so you make spec strong/weak back and forth. You could even add tear no tear post it pads. I’d bet you could also finish by having them lift the box because you lay it down on a something(s) like a few little shreds of clear plastic.

My problem is all the heat is on the box. So how do you keep them from wanting to examine the box? Seems like other than just not allowing them, there isn't much of a clean out. Thoughts?
