this short helped me overcome my fear
so uhm i was listening to this short in my wireless earbuds and it gave me determination, and i was doing a school project with my group and,
the teacher said that “each member of their group needs to lit up a match for lighting the candles” and it was like a competition to who lights the candle first and, when our leader in the group said “whos gonna volunteer for it?” i raised my hand so that i could atleast experience what its like to light a match and lit up a candle so i raised my hand up and volunteered and in my earbuds i was still listening to the song on loop because it just gave me so much determination for the challenge and when the competition is starting i focused on the song and i took a breath and when it started i ran as fast to the light matches and took the whole match packet and i took one out as i was listening to the song to not panic and then i actually got able to lit up the matchstick (the third matchstick because the other matchsticks i couldnt light up because the matches were like really old) but when i finally got to light up the matchstick it was the time and thats when i concurred the fear of lighting a candle and me and my group actually won 3rd place and i was really happy
and btw this short made me like mitski more and got to know of her all of her other songs and this short made me know about mitski so thanks so much for the creator who made this short! ☺️
