A lot of the information is wrong Faye and sonko were both in pastef which Sonko is the leader since 2021 the government did everything possible to stop Sonko running for presidency and succeeded sonko had a strategies and choose four of his members to run for presidency. Faye was one of them because of his project for a better Senegal Sonko say he person was not the most important the project is so out of those four, since they were all going for the same project, he then choose Faye to run for the presidency and asked the Senegalese population to vote for him because he’s carrying the project of a better Senegal.
