Nice box and upgrades Taylor! The locking drawer on the Matco is used by a lot of techs at shops. Keep paperwork, and anything else sensitive in there without locking the whole box. Looks like you could remove the lid if you don't mind doing light damage to the box. Also, you probably want to avoid lowering the box as youll probably find yourself hitting your head on the hutch or having to bend down to grab stuff from the pegboard.
Happy to see you get yourself a nice box. Last year I upgrade my home shop box to a Snap On 68” Epiq. Honestly love it and will last a lifetime. A nice box is a nice upgrade for that perfect shop.

If you needed to carry a box or something to the loft you don't have to use R2 or walk the spiral stairs and use the bridge. I'd hang those string lights where each looks like a mini later under the the deck to light up the lower patio. Have a litte outdoor tiki bar chill area on the lower patio Then the upper deck off the loft just have a chill deck with maybe a small grill and some outdoor table and chairs with an umbrella. I just think that'd be a cool easy addition that has multiple benefits and ads some optional access points. Another idea would be removing the rear covered storage roof and building a elevated deck in its place. Then build a new roof that matches the roofline of the shop. Then frame that deck in and make a room with doorways at the back of each loft into it. Then if you don't want to use the bridge just walk into that room and loop around to the other loft. Then you have that entire back room for whatever. It's 30ft wide by however deep your covered storage is.

While still being useable space but also good hangout vibes. Much love always bossman! New box is rad!
I think you did a good job organizing everything to keep that open feel in the shop. It’s amazing how quickly a large shop can feel cluttered if all those small details are over looked.
That Green and gold box with the milwaukee red makes it look like christmas! 😂 but it's so satisfying to have it all organized I'm sure. the best thing is having enough space for all your tools, and its so annoying when they're stopping drawers from opening or getting in the way of other tools.
Every bit of free top surface space ends up becoming a shelf. When i have a shop floor desk for programming machines....if I'm gone for one day it's covered in cables, bolts, zip ties, you name it...😂
I’m currently making a full Gridfinity set for my 56” us general top and bottom boxes. I hate all the off the shelf tool organizers. It’s going to take forever, but won’t cost much and is flexible. It’s also satiating my drive to tinker, and helping me grow my cad and 3d printing skills.
The top hutch as you call it is actually called over head storage . I got one for my 6S matco tool box and hutch also have a side lockers and I have run out of room in it that’s why I have 2 large tool carts. Collect a lot of tool over the past 30 years in the medium duty truck/automotive industries
On the one hand... I'm happy/excited for all the new stuff. The shop is INCREDIBLE!!! You've done a GREAT job getting to where you are. I know it was a LOT of hard work. On the other hand... What's the plan for the bus??? I thought for sure we'd be seeing a lot more action in that thing.
Mount your independent socket rails to a metal place. I used 16g and put screws up from the bottom. You can now stand every rail up. And won’t have to hold the rail to pull a socket off. Way better than free standing or having some lay down.
1 heavily under rated shop upgrade people often look over. Anti fatigue mats, your joints and older you will thank you.
I’ve considered covering my entire floor in gym mats but I only have 500sq ft so it almost reasonable

Nice to see the shop come together finally! Nice work, hope it works out like you plan!!
First day going sober and no more weed and taylor drops an hour long episode! Thank you sir 😂
I don't love the green cabinet in with all the red, but I fully understand how it is when buying used. Having ALL the choices is part of what you're paying the big bucks for when you buy new. The important part is that it looks like it will work well for you👍
Love flipping the bench top over! Thanks for your videos!
big beautiful shop deserves a big beautiful sound system.
I really enjoy and could watch the shop upgrades for another year or two. Though, the shop upgrades will make the car builds so much better.
What a surprisingly wonderful informative relaxing video. Your selected subjective content conjures ideas flooding my brain. Now motivating myself as you were is another story!
Your content is always interesting no matter what the project may be…I am so proud of how far you’ve come since I started watching your videos years ago…Personally I couldn’t care less about what project you’re tackling next…watching your progression is always satisfying no matter if it’s car/shop/home/yard/trailer/bus/truck…you always inspire me in my own projects Taylor…Thanks!
man that box is HIDEOUS! probably got a smokin deal on it tho.
Great color combo!! Love organizing them on rainy days.
I feel like moving the old box against the loft wall and putting the chairs by the lift would flow better and you’d also be able to see the tv from the chairs aswell as give yourself a nice backdrop for future sim streams/podcasts stuff like that. While still being useable space but also good hangout vibes. Much love always bossman! New box is rad!
That was things a monster!!! And the color combo 🔥
Such a fire box honestly looks great with all the red really pops
I think you did a good job organizing everything to keep that open feel in the shop. It’s amazing how quickly a large shop can feel cluttered if all those small details are over looked.
Pro tip - run the speaker wire behind the toolbox. Plenty of holes to feed it through 😊
That Green and gold box with the milwaukee red makes it look like christmas! 😂 but it's so satisfying to have it all organized I'm sure. the best thing is having enough space for all your tools, and its so annoying when they're stopping drawers from opening or getting in the way of other tools.
Love the new box! Beautiful color combo
Your garage is a dream. You’ve given me some ideas for my own.
Every bit of free top surface space ends up becoming a shelf. When i have a shop floor desk for programming machines....if I'm gone for one day it's covered in cables, bolts, zip ties, you name it...😂
Such a good workshop. Really like what your doing
A levrack would be so good in this shop. Super clean looking convenient storage solution.
This Video was so fkng Cool. Love the Shop updates. That box is next level. Shop is next level.
Love , shop stuff and organization, it's really great!
I miss the days in the single car garage with the camera propped up in the top of the old toolbox. You've come a LONG way since then and you have a lot to be proud of. Love the videos! What's the plan for the bus??? I thought for sure we'd be seeing a lot more action in that thing.
The green and gold is very... art deco. I dig it.
That color combo matches my garage floor. 😮 Cool find.
I like that color combo, the green and gold kinda look like a lowrider car
Your shop is really coming together nicely nice job man love all the vids
Such a bad ass tool box awsome. CONGRATULATIONS moving up ..
Mount your independent socket rails to a metal place. I used 16g and put screws up from the bottom. You can now stand every rail up. And won’t have to hold the rail to pull a socket off. Way better than free standing or having some lay down.
Love it great job, can't wait for the next video bro.👌👍
Damn bro that box is YUGE! Love me some shop reorg and optimization! I think you sold me on the Milwaukee box for my current shop
