- I had the most incredible day with Master Maserati with the opportunity to drive this Maserati MC12 Versione Corse, also known as MC12 Corsa! This thing is just one of the craziest cars that has ever existed and the sound is quite frankly mind boggling.
The Corse version is an extreme machine, and the track version of the 'normal' Maserati MC12 supercar. The MC12 Corse is intended for private use only, albeit restricted to the track, as the Corse's modifications make it illegal to drive on the road.

The program was better as well, the corsa was built strictly for entertainment purposes, not like the ferrari xx where it’s all about testing.

I'd need to save the URL of this video for every time somebody says, "but Maserati isn't a *real* supercar brand." Of the Italian car manufacturers, Maserati is third in racing pedigree behind Ferrari and Alfa Romeo only. Abarth, Lamborghini, Fiat, and Lancia are nowhere close. (even though Lancia's rallying pedigree is quite extensive)
The MC12 is simply beautiful. The flowing lines of the profile and that majestic front view with the huge curling intakes on the hood and aggressive looking headlights and grill. Always been a favorite of mine. Maserati took the Enzo, made this, and suddenly the Enzo looked boring.
I know the exact feeling ....I had #002 for a little over a year ....words cannot explain !!

I love the smell of methanol in the morning. The first year going to races, when teams were still allowed to make their own fuel. So having ELF on your car really meant something. Of course you had to have your fuel checked out. But I walked past a barrel just outside the Jaguar Racing tent. Wow! real strong fuel smell.

I believe it must have been exciting. Really kind of Maserati to let you drive it. :) You drive like a quite experienced race car driver also, I must say. I actually didn't even know about the Corse though, I have to admit. I only knew about the normal MC12. Would wish to see the engine bay of it, since it's so rare so the chance doesn't come often.

I like the front of the Corsa and GT1 better since they have the shortened front end compared to the standard MC12.
