    Hi Milan,
Could you please provide the english version of regulations related to measurement of petroleum for fiscal purposes which is shown in norwegian local language.

Template wells in a steel structure are most common in Norway?
Subsea production system including subsea separation is more expensive than topside in a platform, sps normally works in deep waters I believe

Subsea wells in a template are common in Norway. There are some steel platforms with platform wells also.

@@Milanslectures jacket platforms? With the risers in the legs, derricks installed in the deck, after wells are turned into production, the jackets become a production platform with the derrick uninstalled and topside installed? Or you mean wellhead/dry tree tower. But this is for less deep waters, deep waters are mostly associated with subsea wells

@@roughneckjw by platform wells I meant dry trees and wellheads, e.g. the Johan Sverdrup field (www.equinor.com/energy/johan-sverdrup) with steel jackets, platform wells and drilling tower, the Edvard Grieg field (www.norskpetroleum.no/en/facts/field/edvard-grieg/) with steel jackets, platform wells but no drilling tower (the drilling was done with a jack-up).

@@Milanslectures yes it is a dry tree tower, we have unmanned drytree tower as well in China waters, but only not common in deep waters, an intervention rig could extend the cantilever to be above the drytree tower to workover, in deep waters they use subsea wells, statoil originated the concept of subsea production system (seabed factory), brasilian waters are deep and applied norwagean technology. In China the deep waters are in South China sea, not much mature or developed waters

This is an old lecture so I don’t remember the specifics very well, but I believe the 100 million number was used for the complete well cost, including construction, completion and XMT. It is expensive but, to my understanding, possible for deep subsea complex wells. XMT cost much less than that (a few millions, tens of millions maybe?)
