Hi there just watching your vlog on cast netting and then I watched a bloke down in lou his channel is called forage&feast it amazing how many mullet and bass he was catching
I would do a little research on a beach that gets mackerel chasing white bait at evening high tide, ..you seem to have a good technique, but your in the wrong place, the only thing you may catch is fuel flavoured mullet… seriously, try a beach…
@lovetolay it was only my first time it was just a bit of a test really I wasn't planning on eating anything from the marina ha there's a place we go to in Cornwall on the beach at around 9:00 there's loads of sprats coming up on the beach so obviously something's chasing them I was planning on using it there for definite
A cheeky little sub of me been looking at cast nets for a bit good luck from Wirral 👍🏻

Hey guys and girls it would be amazing if everyone that's viewed this video would subscribe and like that would be very much appreciated❤
You should try near the lighthouse on a incoming tide.
ive just moved to scarbrorough 3 weeks ago wed 17th july guys.
@@karlpage8113 I like Scarborough I go there quite often
Love Scarbough and Whitby
Yes what a beautiful place they both are
I'd rather watch this than "Strictly Come Dancing". Who wouldn't ?
@crazystarwarsguy1006 yes me too 😂
Go closer to the boats as the lights will attract fish and prawns. Brilliant video pal
@monstercarp5753 I'll be going out in my boat where it's reasonably shallow looking forward to catching something with it
You might wanna try some bread berley to attract the fish to your area of operations mate 🤟
I'll definitely try that sick of not catching anything haha
Greetings from somewhere close to Fort Knox, Kentucky U.S.A.
You might get an old viking helmet
Good vid ,just subbed
Saw them being used in Florida ,to catch bait fish ,net full every throw
Prefer Scarborough tho!😂
@swiggy03 that was just a bit of a practice really it was the first time I've used it I'm definitely hoping to catch something with it ha
its illegal to use them nets in the north east rivers of the UK... not sure about the harbor though...
@CHEEKYMONKEY2647 yes we did do some research and it is illegal to catch migrating fish from the rivers so I won't be using it in a river
Only illegal if you are caught
@@billywatts4689 its still illegal regardless if you get caught.
@@CHEEKYMONKEY2647 I don't live in fear of dictations of self appointed tyrants man
You won't find much anywhere near the Tees estuary especially down tide. It's nothing to do with the dredging for the port.
Are cast nets not illegal in the uk?
To be honest with you I haven't got a clue
I've just Googled it, it seems to be only in Freshwater rivers for migrating fish like salmon and trout
Nice video, never tried it myself but would give it ago..try and extend the rope a bit , keep trying...cheers
@johnward7768 it's quite hard getting the hang of it but once you've got it it's pretty easy,
thanks for the message👍
I don't listen to self appointed tyrants
It's illegal to use cast nets in most of UKs estuary, best you stop or you could get a massive fine
Could
