- Only hand tools woodworking. Walnut bookshelf, wenge and linden drawers, tung oil finish as always. I'm not good at woodcarving, but sometimes I want to do something simple. I hope it turned out well.
For planing wenge I use a wonderful plane blade made by my friend Luke using titanium and incredible steel, get more tools from Luke at Zen-Wu Toolworks - use my link for a $20 discount: zenwutoolworks.com/gr_woodwor...

Doesn't get any better than watching a Master at work. Thanks for sharing.
I could look at this all day. It's beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful and a work of art as usual ✨✨✨
Thank you ☺️
Did I just watched the Best TH-cam video?
I’d love to see a tour if your workshop, especially your workbench and how the pop up dogs work.
Oh, I don’t have a proper workbench yet :) I made this one about 10 years ago and it wasn’t very successful. I dream of making a new one in the future and will definitely show you the manufacturing process this time.
Stunning! Your craftsmanship is beautiful and your videography and editing is perfect.
Beautiful

I found this channel by looking up "chill af" in the dictionary. Absolutely legendary, my guy! Thanks for sharing your work.
Yuri, your videos are becoming more and more ethereal. Thank you for showing us peaceful master woodworking ❤
I think so 🎉🎉🎉🎉 j to the rescue i like adel love her ❤❤
Such mastery of hand tools. Very impressive!
Fantastic to see interesting use of certain tools here- see that router plane perform!
Everytime I watch you I want a Clifton. Great work my friend!
I knew instantly i saw the shelf in the first frame...this is a top woodworker.
Nice work...I'm also partial to interesting boards with 'defects' like your top board there. Those would be culled in any mass produced shop. You may know this but that carving is called a volute in the parlance.
Marvelous. The carving adds great character. Thank you.
I love the sound that wood makes. You seem to like it too.
Precision, accuracy, love for handmade things, and above all heart and intelligence.
As always : Wonderful.
You are an artist.
Stupendo. Ottimo lavoro. Mi mette pace e tranquillità vederti lavorare il legno. Complimenti davvero
Another beautiful build, thanks for sharing 😊
Absolutely gorgeous!!
I came to the comment section to apologize that I quickly skipped through this video. It deserved more dedication. Your video quality and woodworking skill are top tier.

Spinning wheel, nice touch.
Gorgeous.
This is a true master craftsman at work. Thank you so much!
Your videos are stunningly beautiful and informative to those of us who are learning to work with wood. Thank you kindly.
Beautiful work.
Splendide !

its wonderful to watch this video, like doing everything by hand using old tools, no machinery, and that little handle was bonus, also i like how u showed 3-4 angles for the same thing !!
nice job!
Excelent job!
This is incredible. Absolutely beautiful grain.
That veritas router plane is crisp, probably my next purchase
Beautiful 😁 I wish I’d had your patience when I went to night classes for woodworking 😁
Excelente trabajo compañero. Te quedo genial. Te felicito

Amazing, Yurii... Stunning bookshelf!!! 😃
Truly fantastic work!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
thanks for sharing
A 🌈 light in the gray of the craft channels!
Wish you showed how you chose to hang it this time around. Always looking for alternatives to screws + wall plugs.
Only guessing, but the triangular cross section piece he added in the back would imply a French cleat, to me.
Outstanding job!
Master!
Keep doing these fine woodart and amaze us with your skills and technic.
That music is a little too relaxing... I kept nodding off, even though I wanted to watch to the end. Time for bed! 🤣
Very nice Yurii, I always learn something from your videos and enjoy the experience of a craftsman at work. Thank you.
Keep up the good work! Very impressive.
I wish I had the patience to do that kinda hand work!
Amazing video and amazing soundtrack!! Thanks for sharing!! 😍
I tried to buy a router plane but it sooo expensive here!! :(
👌👋👋👋superbe comme toujours
You are a living proof we don’t need power tools in woodworking, always good to see you working and you are the second woodworker I see using that measure tape, which brand is that?
Belo trabalho...parabéns!
Beautiful work sir!
Thank you ☺️
Yuri, a great design and craftsmanship...as always. And your video, editing, and music have become over the top. Having the bicycle wheel turning in the background was an amazing touch.
Spiritual....thank you.
👍🏻
i am from Indonesia I am so impressed by your professional skill, a master... on that wood working using the traditional tools, I wish I could have those tools, kindly pls let me know how could I get those, i tried searching but still couldn't find it
Great work, my favourite will be without music :)))
😃😃💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Absolutely beautiful! Such craftsmanship!
Aqui do Brasil 😅
Lovely job Yuri 👍. Question if I may. How happy are you with the result / project?
Applausi a scena aperta
What an absolutely stunning video and masterful work!
I have to ask though...is your bicycle tire just perpetually in motion lol?
What's brand that kataba saw?
Nice video. Nice wood work. It must be hot there. What temperatures are you getting?
I gotta ask: What brand is your hollow tape measure and where did you get it?
Beautiful but how does it hang on wall?
There you can see a 45 degree strip glued inside - this is a French fastening system; you can also screw a 45 degree strip onto the wall and just hang it
@gr_woodworking where did you get that tape measure? That is pretty sweet.
All the exposed joinery doesn’t make up for a pedestrian design.
How heavy are your books?
Nice change of pace to find some woodworking that isn't in the "Personality-tube" genre, where the product is the product, not the "jokes".
What i wanna know, is why is the bicycle wheel always spinning 🧐
any one know who the brass soled block plane he uses is made by?
Look on my channel for a video about this plane, although I screwed on the bronze later, as I realized that wenge wears out quickly
@@gr_woodworking Just had a quick look, let me know when you are open for orders! well done, that thing looks beautiful
Another beautifully contemplative , almost meditative video.Imagine how much poorer we would be if we couldn't witness videos like this!
W co Ty grasz Yurij albo GR ?
I am a bit if a tool freak i really want to know what type of rolling measure you use, it is so cool!
I've even made still screenshots of your video's but cannot figure it out! Please let me know..

Please no more questions about the damn tape. Its not important!
Very skilful. Taste is personal whilst skill is universal. I would just say that, in my taste, all those exposed joints detract and not add to the design. A through M&T with a contrasting wedge maybe but to have all joints exposed. Forgive me but it seems almost an ego trip to say to other woodworkers “look how tight my joints are”.
In my experience, when you are making a simple but elegant design then the client does not care how tight the joints are - they just want the aesthetic and the build quality.
Old, old saying. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
