this is such a great tribute to mamamoo for so many reasons. Mamamoo always uses big bands in their concerts. live instruments. and their early work is heavily influenced in big band jazz. Mamamoo also had trans/drag queen performers for one of their awards show performances and got praise but a lot of backlash for it (korea is hyper conservative). i cant explain why this was suuuuuch a good cover!!!
Tbh theyre so brave to do that when the audience is men bodyguards when korean men r known to be so conservative about lgbtq+ yk theyre so brave and its such a big thing
Btw aoa is so big in korea before kpop was like bigbig internationally and theyre from a really small company too they dont have international content like no engsub and all thats why its kind of hard
