SOLVED: Make sure earphones are turned off. Hold down the On Button until there is a flashing blue and red light. Then try to detect the earphones via bluetooth. I made the mistake of just switching on the earphones and then trying to synch the bluetooth. Hope this helps.

Lets up-vote this. I didn't see this in the manual and what TradeOctopus said works. Power it off by holding the middle button/answer button and it will say "Power off" Turning back on making sure that you continue to press it until the red light alternates with blue light. It will set itself to pairing mode and simply do a device search via bluetooth on the device you want to connect it to.

Was reading comments here, did everything what's suggested here but nothing worked. Then I tried another charging cable with both earbuds together(using their magnets) , at first it didn't charge, then suddenly blue light flashed. I removed the cable again, then it took a few seconds before blue light flashes again. Then I used the usual charging cable, then finally blue and red flashing, i removed it from the charger then pressed the power button, it said "power off". I switched it on again then it paired normally again. I guess we just need to use another cable or plug it on and off to bring it back.
You are doing it wrong that's why it won't turn on. I thought mine had problem too but I was doing it wrong. Ask me if u need my help and I will guide u.
Press the power button for 15-20 secs with ur thumb nail until the blue light turns on but don't remove ur thumb for few more secs. Soon u'll see the red light on top & the blue light at the bottom start blinking at the same time. Once u see that ur head set is ready to use..tadaaa :)

mine just won't turn on after almost two weeks of minimal use. hopefully will receive feedback from awei.
